The main objective of this study is to identify students' perceptions of the implementation of socrative learning grammar. The second-year students of the English Department of FKIP UIR in the academic year 2018/2019 were the objects of this research. Questionnaires and interviews as a tool to collect data for this study. The questionnaire was adapted from the TAM theory (David, Bagozzi & Warshaw, 1989) which included 20 closed questions relating to the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of using socrative in learning grammar. The data in this study was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. While data from the interview were transcribed. The results of this study indicated that students have positive perceptions about the use of socrative. The results of this study also proved that students have a positive view of the use of socrative in learning grammar. This means that they accept the use of socrative in the learning process

Shopee was the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia in 2020 by gross merchandise value and total orders. It is currently one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Malaysia. Despite the intense competition in the e-commerce space, Shopee has expanded aggressively across the Southeast Asian region over the last few years. Its successful business expansion is likely attributed to its profound competitive advantages. This study aims to examine the primary factors influencing customer satisfaction towards using Shopee for online purchasing in Malaysia. A survey questionnaire was used for data collection. A total of 100 Shopee users from Malaysia responded to the survey. The findings revealed that perceived ease of use and perceived convenience had influenced the customer satisfaction toward online purchasing on Shopee in Malaysia. Meanwhile, perceived usefulness and perceived trust did not significantly influence customer satisfaction towards Shopee in Malaysia. This study provides Shopee with valuable insights and guidance on customers’ perception of Shopee, leading to improved customer satisfaction.

Safety and health issues are growing concerns in the agricultural sector among farm-workers in South Africa. The current health pandemic arising from the corona virus has thrown these issues into the spotlight, and this study explored the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of using personal protective materials among farm-workers in the banana sector. Using a case study of 10 large farms in the lower south coast of South Africa, we utilized descriptive and inferential analysis to identify the demographic composition of farm-workers in the study area, examine their perception of specific personal protective materials, and determine the relationship between demographic characteristics and perception of personal protective materials. Farm-workers in the study area were found to be predominantly single black males aged between 36-55years, with no more than a primary education, with work experience of between 6-10 years and employed as unskilled farm-labourers. Perceived usefulness (83%) and perceived ease of use (79%) for personal protective materials was high. Respondents gender (p=0.012), marital status (p=0.029), level of education (p=0.035) and farm-work experience (p=0.008) were significant, while their age (p=0.057), population group (p=0.160) and work classification (p=0.203) were not found significant in determining perceived usefulness or perceived ease of use. Our study makes valuable contribution to the existing body of knowledge regarding farm-worker safety issues by exploring perception of personal protective materials.

This study explores the factors that affect the intention to adopt web marketing (WM) at farm level as an innovation for business purposes. Data were collected from a direct survey among Italian farmers. The paper applies the Technology-Organisation-Environment (TOE) framework. Among the variables considered, the results mainly show that a higher perceived usefulness of WM leads to a greater intention to adopt it from farmers. Similarly, the intention to adopt WM is positively influenced by the customers‘ readiness to use this technology and the perceived ease of use. Moreover, the intention to adopt is lower for the farms showing a greater size. Surprisingly, the perception of customers’ positive expectation about WM adoption by the farm shows a negative effect, suggesting that external pressures can inhibit farmers’ intention. Findings are valuable to understand how to develop policies to support WM adoption among farmers, that is important to gain access to the market especially for smallholders.

The study targets on Guizhou telecom operator who provide E-government services in China. This study applies an expanded technology acceptance model (TAM) to explain the telecom operator acceptance by government. Five variables of TAM through telecom operators are considered including system quality, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use, trust and intention to use. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed framework, a case study of evaluating the acceptance of telecom operators by government in Guizhou province of China is conducted. The results show that the proposed framework is effective in assessing the acceptance of telecom operators involved in E-government and the expanding new factor, trust is of vital importance in this model.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the intensity of the use of digital payments, especially users of OVO applications. Factors that are suspected to have an influence on the intensity of the use of digital payments in OVO applications are perceived ease of use, perceived risk of use, perceived usefulness of use and trust. The population in this study were all students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Mercu Buana and students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama). Sampling was carried out by random sampling method totaling 115 respondents, 60 respondents from the Faculty of Economics, University of Mercu Buana and 55 respondents from the Faculty of Economics, University of Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama). The primary data collection method used is the questionnaire method. Data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis techniques with test equipment using PLS 3.0. The aim of this study is to find out the students’ perception toward using mobile technology for learning at Baturaja University. This study used the qualitative descriptive research design. The writer conducts 78 students as population of English Education Study Program. The writer only took 65 students as the sample by applying purposive sampling. The data was collected through the students’ perception questionnaire. Then the writer used descriptive statistics analysis technique using SPSS for analyzing the data based on percentage and frequency distributions. The results showed that overwhelming number of university had perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use toward the use of mobile technology for learning English. Majority of university students agreed that mobile technology was useful and easy to use for learning English. The findings indicated that students had high agreement interpretation on the using of mobile technology in perceived usefulness and ease of use to access mobile technology for learning English

The aim of the study was to analyze the common mistakes made by Non-English Department students in understanding Simple Present Tense and Present Continuous Tense sentences. The students who joint with the class were from Telecommunications Engineering Study Program, Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto in Academic Year 2018 – 2019.  This study involved 3 classes that contained 89 students.  They were given 5 positive sentences and they had to make those sentences into negative and interrogative sentences.  They had to finish doing the test in 20 minutes.  The study showed that the students had made the mistakes in negative and interrogative sentences.  They did not use the auxiliary verbs do, does, and be appropriately.  Besides, they made mistakes when the simple present tense sentences were preceded by subject he, she, or it.  Furthermore, the use of present participial verbs was still commonly found in the simple present tense sentences so that the constructions became incorrect.  For this reason, teaching grammar in non-English Department study program had to be designed in such a way that they students could understand how to make statement sentences into negative and interrogative ones correctly.

MOOCs are open, online courses that use information technologies to enhance the learning experience and attract various people from the entire world. The current study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), as well as personal characteristics such as learning strategies, cognitive appraisal, and Kuhlthau’s (1991) model of information seeking as theoretical bases for defining factors that may influence students adopting MOOCs in their learning process, as well as describe their feelings during the learning process. The study was conducted in Israel during the 2014 academic year, and used both quantitative and qualitative techniques and involved 102 students who participated in a MOOC as part of the requirements in an offline course. They were requested to keep study diaries. The quantitative analysis revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) have a major influence on the intention to enroll in a MOOC. PEOU can be increased by improving the current MOOC platforms. PU can also be improved by providing content that suits the students’ needs. The qualitative analysis showed mood changes over time; the feelings of uncertainty were replaced by expressions of confidence. We found that students have different needs and expectations. Therefore, the MOOC’s platforms should provide multiple options to accommodate these needs.

Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic influenced education systems throughout the world, including in Indonesia. It makes the universities and schools go online for their teaching-learning process. Therefore, mobile learning can be an alternative solution to carry out the teaching and learning process as suggested by the government. The purpose of this study was to explore empirically mobile learning acceptances based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with satisfaction as the mediating variable. The population of this study is 250 Economics Education students at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The sample was taken by purposive sampling with the criteria of students who have used mobile learning in supporting their learning activities. Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS 24 was performed to analyze quantitative data. The results showed that from 6 hypotheses, there are 5 accepted hypotheses; they are; perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived interactivity have positive and significant effects on the intention to use mobile learning. The mediating variable (satisfaction) is successful to strengthen the influence between perceived ease of use and intention; and perceived usefulness and intention. However, satisfaction is rejected to mediate perceived interactivity and intention to use. Stakeholders should improve students’ satisfaction in their learning activities. The limitation of this study was the research results cannot be easely generalized in other contexts. In the future, other researchers can add other factors to examine better technology acceptance.

In connection with the need for making instructional media applications by teachers in the distance learning process, PT. Bangun Satya Wacana (BSW) through the Diginusa department held training on the use of the Scratch visual programming application to create learning materials such as games, animations and interactive quizzes. Scratch is a graphical programming language using drag and drop command blocks. Besides that, Scratch can be used both online and offline, so it is very helpful for the distance learning process (DLP). This research aims to see how the level of acceptance of teachers to Scratch using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. The indicators measured are Self-Efficacy, Complexity, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Intention to Use and Actual Technology Use, then analyzed by linear regression method with the help of IBM SPSS software. From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be seen that the Intention to Use affects the Actual Technology Use. Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use together affect the Intention to Use. Perceived Ease of Use, Self-Efficacy and Complexity together have a significant effect on Perceived Usefulness.
