Reservoir with gas cap, edge water is complex. And the oil-water and oil-gas interface will seriously influence the performance. Once out of control, gas and water invasion may occur, then oil productivity will fall sharply and oil recovery will become low. In addition, the oil penetrating into gas cap would lead to oil loss. So, the controlling methods are crucial. In this paper, we study the productive characteristics of a certain reservoir with gas cap, edge water and narrow oil ring. For the phenomenon several productive wells appeared gas breakthrough and water invasion after putting into production, this paper puts up a strategy shutting in high gas-oil ratio wells and blocking off gas breakthrough layers that proved effective. At the same time, adjusting oil and gas distribution underground by gas-water alternate also be proved practicable.

In order to grasp the change of oil-gas interface in north area of Lamadian Oilfield and determine the conditions of gas or oil invasion during the development of gas storage, the precise geological model is established. By simulation software Eclipse immigrations of gas-oil interface are tracing simulated and cases of gas or oil invasion are monitored under various pressure differentials, based on which the limits of pressure are provided at last. Simulation results indicate that when the pressure of gas region is higher than oil region the gas invasion will happen and when the pressure differential between oil and gas region is up to 0.6 MPa the oil invasion will happen after 16 injection-production cycles. This paper is valuable to practical project applications which keep the interface stable and avoid the gas and oil invasions.

Through the flat 53-13 well group oil and gas mixed transportation test, the gathering radius increases from 3Km to 5km, to realize the full closed gathering. Reducing electricity consumption, according to the existing problems in the mixed transportation technology are discussed, for intermittent oil and high gas oil ratio well area, a station for reference.

Abstract It has been observed that, although submarine power cables have a critical role to wind power arrays and power export to shore, they are often overlooked at early stages of projects and oversimplified during late stages. This leads to lack of attention given during cable design and planning, as well as pressured schedules during manufacturing, testing and installation. The significant number of incidents attributed to offshore submarine cables during construction has increased overall project risk, lowered system average power availability and increased insurance costs. Lack of proper routing can also result in an inability to maintain asset integrity for the project design life. Despite the attention that submarine power cables have received over the past few years, the number and cost of incidents does not appear to be decreasing. A comparison can be made between offshore HVAC and HVDC cables used for wind power and offshore umbilicals and MV cables used in the oil and gas sector. These umbilicals are often similar in weight, size and bending stiffness, and have similar design, manufacturing, routing and installation challenges, but with a fraction of the incidents observed with offshore wind array and export cables. An additional caveat is that the offshore oil and gas sector has achieved a reliable track record while installing and maintaining these umbilicals and cables in fully dynamic conditions (ultra-deep water) as well static conditions. One primary difference between how the oil and gas sector executes these systems are design, planning and specification from an early stage of the project. Significant attention is given at an early stage to quality control, including offshore routing and umbilical testing specifically to avoid incidents resulting in umbilical damage due to the tension and crushing forces during installation as well as ambient seawater and seabed interaction. Management of these risks are documented, and optimal mitigation strategies are implemented early in the design phase. This paper will discuss the types of incidents which have been observed during construction and installation of submarine HVAC/HVDC cables in the wind power sector and how they could have been prevented by normal practices of the offshore oil/gas sector from early design and planning all the way to installation and commissioning.

The dynamic response interaction of a vibrating offshore pipeline on a moving seabed is herein investigated where the pipeline is idealized as a beam vibrating on an elastic foundation. This problem is of relevance in offshore exploration where pipelines are laid either on or buried in the seabed. When such pipes carry oil and gas, the undulating topography of the sea floor and the internal motion of the fluid subject the entire structure to vibration due to bending forces and form the subject of our study. Our analysis revealed that in general, the seabed acts either as a damper or as a spring and in particular when we have sedimentation, the seabed geology permits the geomechanical property of the sediment cover to act only as a damper. As expected, external excitation will increase the response of these pipes for which an amplification factor has been derived. For soft beds, high transverse vibrations were dampened by increasing the internal fluid velocity whereas they became amplified for hard beds. These results are of contemporary interest in the oil/gas industry where deep sea exploration is now receiving significant attention.

The article highlights the methods of strategic analysis in order to define the competitive positions of oil and gas companies of Kazakhstan. The forecast of oil production in Kazakhstan in 2016-2030 in the context of land and sea production and the footage in exploration drilling in Kazakhstan in the context of the largest customers have been submitted. The main barriers for entering and functioning of the market of oil sale have been defined. Oil production by the companies subject to the share of "National Company KazMunaiGas", JSC has been analyzed. The characteristic of the market of oil production and petroservice has been given. The competitive analysis revealed that dynamics of the market share in 2015-2016 for the majority of the presented companies was stated as negative, which was the result of growing competition from the foreign companies (Chinese) and strengthening of competitive force of "JSCKazMunaiGas", JSC and its affiliates (50% and 100% societies). The strategic analysis of the leading oil and gas companies of Kazakhstan was fulfilled with application of methods of ABC analysis; it allowed to reveal groups of oil and gas companies in the Kazakhstan market which have the greatest impact on formation of significant indicators in the considered economic area. There has been built the matrix of analysis of growth rate of branch share and sales in the context of dynamics of exploration drilling, revenues from sales of oil, gas and their processing products. The market leader is "Tengizshevroil", JSC. It has been found that the external economic conditions, which were characterized by low price per oil barrel in the world market, had a great impact on the oil production sector in Kazakhstan.
