Marginal leakage is the intrusion into the space between all the restorative materials and cavity walls of fluids, bacteria, and ions. It can cause irritation of the pulp, change of color in the tooth and secondary caries, and may also result in restoration failure. The freshly placed prosthetic margins invariably leak. As time goes by there is a rise in marginal leakage associated with the manufacture of corrosion products and the expansion of other materials into the space between the tooth and the prosthesis. Dental researchers have been interested in the efficacy of the restorative materials to seal cavity margins against the entry of salivary constituents for some time. Some studies have shown that normal dentin would allow the penetration of dyes into human teeth's tubules. An analysis of later micro-leakage studies reveals that the structure of the dentin is permeable to the diffusion of fluids by natural and acquired defects. Because the enamel surface contains natural cracks and that allow the fluid to penetrate, the enamel can also have areas of hypo calcification, , chemical breakdown, abrasion, and carious lesions that increase penetration. However, enables the transportation of fluids by processes. Cutting dentin with dental pressure increases the exposed surface area and thus increases the amount of tubules available for fluid transfer into the pulp chamber. While ionic charge and chemical reactivity of diffusing fluids lead to marginal leakage, the physical and chemical character of restorative materials, and the operator's clinical skills are equally essential.

AbstractGraph theory plays important roles in the fields of electronic and electrical engineering. For example, it is critical in signal processing, networking, communication theory, and many other important topics. A topological index (TI) is a real number attached to graph networks and correlates the chemical networks with physical and chemical properties, as well as with chemical reactivity. In this paper, our aim is to compute degree-dependent TIs for the line graph of the Wheel and Ladder graphs. To perform these computations, we first computed M-polynomials and then from the M-polynomials we recovered nine degree-dependent TIs for the line graph of the Wheel and Ladder graphs.

ABSTRACT Introduction Beauty standards in today's modernized world scenario are formed by well-aligned and well-designed bright white teeth. One of the major reasons behind patients reporting to dental clinics is pain. Caries in the anterior primary teeth forms one of the major concerns from a restorative point of view. Very few studies are quoted in literature which stresses on the follow-up of anterior restorations in primary teeth. Hence, we evaluated and compared the efficacy of composite resin and resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RGIC) for class III restorations in primary anterior teeth. Materials and methods The present study was conducted in the pediatric dental wing and included a total of 80 patients aged 3 to 5½ years who reported with the chief complaint of carious lesions in the primary anterior teeth. Patients having minimal of a pair of similar appearing small carious lesions on the same proximal surfaces of the deciduous maxillary incisors were included for the study. All the patients were randomly divided into two groups: One in which RGIC restoration was done and other in which composite restoration was done. Cavity preparation was done and filling of the cavity with the restorative materials was carried out. Assessment of the restorations was done at 4, 8, and 12 months time following criteria given by Ryge et al. All the results were analyzed by Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Mann–Whitney test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to evaluate the level of significance; p value less than 0.05 was considered as significant. Results For composite and RGIC restorations, the mean score for anatomic shape was 1.21 and 1.10 respectively. While comparing the clinical parameters, nonsignificant results were obtained between composite and RGIC restorative materials at 4-, 8-, and 12-month interval. On comparing the clinical parameters for individual restorative materials at different time intervals, statistically significant results were obtained only for anatomical shape and form. Conclusion Both RGIC and composite resin restorative materials showed acceptable clinical outcomes after 12 months of follow-up in deciduous anterior teeth. In restoring class III restorations in primary anterior teeth, both the restorative materials showed similar outcome. leaf suweg as a product of tea form believed be efficacious antidiarrheal so potentially as a funcional beverage. This research aims to know the physical and chemical character of tea-leaf products suweg packed in the form of sac. The product is divided into 5 types of formula such as F0 (100% tea powder), F1, F2, F3 (25%, 50%, and 75% suweg leaf substitution) and F4 (100% suweg) with 4 replications respectively. The results showed that the chemical properties of moisture content, ash content, and crude fiber content were not significantly different between the various formulas, while the highest tannin content was shown by F1 (p< 0.05). Physical test result that the state of steeping has met the SNI standard of tea powder where all formulas dissolveperfectly in water at 100C. The physical color test of steeping shows the sequence of dark brown (F0), faded brown (F1), brownis green (F2), green (F3) and clear green (F4). It can be conclude that the suweg tea product produced in this study have the same chemical characteristict with tea products in general except tannin conten, with he quality.keywords : tea, greentea leaves, suweg, functional drinks

Abstract Objectives This study aimed to survey dentists in Germany to identify their favored materials for the fabrication of tooth-supported single crowns (SCs) depending on the location of the abutment teeth and the preparation margin. Materials and methods The survey included questions regarding demographic characteristics of dentists/their dental practice and preferred restorative materials for the fabrication of SCs for abutment teeth 16, 11, 34, and 36 with either supra- or subgingival preparation margins. Results Between August 2019 and February 2020, 721 dentists participated in the survey; responses from 33 dentists were excluded from data analysis because the dentists did not work in Germany or provided less than one fixed dental prosthesis/month. Dentists favored ceramic materials independent of the location of the abutment tooth and preparation margin (56.6–92.2%). CAD/CAM resin composites or full metals were preferred by only a few participants. A significantly higher proportion of dentists recommended porcelain fused to metal for subgingival preparation margins than for supragingival margins (p < 0.001). Characteristics of dentists/dental practices influenced a single scenario (11 subgingival) that was dependent on the dentist’s time since graduation. When asked to specify the ceramic materials, numerous participants wrote a free response (5.7–7.8%) or did not answer (0.7–4.8%). Conclusions Dentists in Germany selected restorative materials for SCs depending on the clinical scenario. Since numerous dentists did not specify the ceramic materials, postgraduate information and education might help to extend expertise. Clinical relevance The results of this survey provide insight into the favored materials of dentists for the fabrication of tooth-supported SCs.

Abstract. Ice and snow in the environment are important because they not only act as a host to rich chemistry but also provide a matrix for physical exchanges of contaminants within the ecosystem. This review discusses how the structure of snow influences both chemical reactivity and physical processes, which thereby makes snow a unique medium for study. The focus is placed on impacts of the presence of liquid and surface disorder using many experimental studies, simulations, and field observations from the molecular to the micro-scale.
