With the heightened value of education, the role of traditional culture in teaching has gradually emerged. The introduction of traditional culture into education not only encourages the cultivation of students’ moral quality but also boosts the extension and inheritance of traditional culture. Therefore, this paper examines the effective combination of traditional culture and education in colleges and universities throughout China. This paper aims to highlight the important role of traditional culture in university education and provides numerous definitive strategies for implementation.

 Innovative talent training mode is a key problem to be solved in the talent training of digital economy specialty in Colleges and universities. From the new teaching mode of "Internet plus curriculum thinking politics", the training mode of digital economy professionals needs to be improved. Therefore, based on the analysis of the role of "Internet plus curriculum thinking" in the training of digital economy professionals, this paper fully combines the problems and deficiencies of the current digital economy professional training, and proposes that from the top level design to the teaching staff, then to the improvement of the evaluation system and other measures to achieve the goal of cultivating comprehensive digital economy talents with both professional knowledge and ideological and moral quality.

This work has been done to recognize the various contributing disciplines in colleges and universities to achieving the global goals. One aim is to point out the many college disciplines internationally that would contribute to these goals. Only four out of the global goals seem not to be directly contributed to by sustainable engineering. A presentation of relevant publications has been made of the role of sustainable engineering in accomplishing the 17 global goals of the United Nations. The pervasiveness and long reach of the many branches of sustainable engineering are evident. The implied importance of good quality engineering schools and colleges worldwide cannot be refuted.

This article reports on the evaluation researchproject, which focussed on the viability and sustainability challenges in one particular case of a university over a period of five years. Such a university remains categorised as structurally disadvantaged despite almost thirty years into constitutional democracy in South Africa. As such, the research project was conducted against the complexity of the university transformation project, which take place against the enduring social ills as high unemployment rate, increasing inequalities and abject poverties especially from the enduring legacy of the old racist apartheid system. The role of university education in such a context becomes the reflexive imperative in consideration of university, not only as the public good and equity, but for social justice and equity discourses. Such discourses need to be made more loud than is presently the case. The research therefore focussed on the role of entrepreneurship skills development, which then were juxtaposed with the espoused values of of science, innovation and technology as the key performance indicators for the academic project. As such, the article will revolve around the main argument that scholarship of engagament in univeristy spaces, where entrepreneurship skills development ought to be the enabling system, need to be reimagined in terms of the contemporary research disciplines. Critical realist philosophy, and the realist social theory as the explanatory program, provide the alternative research approach to the mainstream approaches due to their explanatory power for for transcendentalism and based on retroductive arguemnts about the social world. Such an approach does not only foreground the contemporary debates in social sciences, and the emerging fields of study within it, but also help to elaborate on the purist positions that tend to be promoted in some business science fields and their inadvertent pragmatic and black box logic. The concept of outreach has become associated with public service to community, media and business interests, to public and private educational institutions, and to African and Africanist academics at home and abroad lacking access to resources to pursue their studies and research. This paper is concerned chiefly with the role of colleges and universities in African studies outreach, which is not to minimize the importance of other agents of change, private and public, committed to the task of improving the quality and quantity of our understanding and knowledge of African affairs.

This article is the author's reflections on the problems of humanism, morality, and traditional culture in connection with the concept of a Moral State put forward by Professor S.N. Baburin. The role of the spirituality of the Slavic peoples and their contribution to the strengthening of European cultural identity is considered. The author argues the importance of the conclusion that the virtue of the state as its internal quality in itself turns the state into a guarantor of virtue as a universal value and the validity of the thesis that the values of both Orthodox Christianity and Slavic spirituality represent a solid foundation of a Moral State. The author sees in the Moral State a mechanism for the harmonious combination of the spirit of the revolution with the revolution of the spirit.
