The purpose of the study was to determine the prognostic role of finger extension and to assess the function of the upper extremity in patients with stroke. Materials and methods. The study was performed on the basis of the Medical Center "Expert Health" and clinical units of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, Mykolaiv, Ukraine during 2020-2021. 89 patients who underwent acute cerebrovascular accident by ischemic type with paresis of the upper extremity were examined. All patients were examined in accordance with current clinical protocols in 3 and 6 months after undergoing stroke. Additionally, patients underwent a standard hand function test – Action Research Arm Test, as well as an extended test – Action Research Arm Test +in its own modification (IsoTren LTD). Statistical processing was performed by methods of analysis of variance and correlation using Statisica 13.0 software (TIBCO, USA). Results and discussion. When assessing the functional status of patients, the average values of Barthel Index were 65.4±1.4 points, which corresponded to 2.7±0.3 points by modified Rankin Scale. The main difficulties were observed in such skills as writing (d170), use of means of communication (landline and mobile phone, computer, gadgets – d360), fine motor movements (d440), cooking (d630), eating (d550), washing (d510), personal hygiene (d520) and toilet use (d530), etc. When evaluated according to the standard Action Research Arm Test 3 months after the stroke, the average score was 39.9±1.5, according to the subtest of the Extensors’ Function Assessment Test – 8.3±0.4 points, which corresponds to the overall score for Action Research Arm Test +of 48.1±1.4 points. After 6 months, the score of the Action Research Arm Test 3 months after the stroke, the average score was 43.4±1.2 points ( = +8.8%), according to the subtest of the Extensors’ Function Assessment Test – 9.9±0.4 points ( = +19.3%), which corresponds to the overall score on Action Research Arm Test +of 53.2±1.3 points ( = +10.6%). Correlation analysis showed that the results of the subtest of the Extensors’ Function Assessment Test and Action Research Arm Test significantly correlate with each other (r = 0.72 p <0.01). The developed original test to assess the function of extensors has a specificity of 95.6% with a sensitivity of 98.5% (J = 0.95). This estimate corresponds to LR += 24.75, which allows us to assess the prognostic value of finger extension as very high. When assessing the internal consistency of the standard test Action Research Arm Test and Action Research Arm Test +, it was found that Cronbach = 0.87, which indicates a high degree of consistency of the tests. Conclusion. It is advisable to use the extensor function assessment test together with the standard Action Research Arm Test (modified Action Research Arm Test +)

<p>The objective of this research was to determine the level of coastal children eco-literacy by using storytelling about the role of mangroves for coastal communities in Serang Regency - Banten. The research methodology was classroom action research (CAR). The implementation of classroom action research was conducted of two cycles. There was cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisted of two meetings. This research involved third-grade students which consisted of 30 students in SDN Cerocoh, Serang Regency - Banten. The instrument of the research was data collecting technique, the data were observation, tests (pre-test and post-tests), and documentation. The result of this research showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ eco-literacy in pre-test and post-test after learning environmental education with mangrove storytelling. The average score of pre-test was 48.52%, while, after giving treatment in cycle I, the students average score in post-test I was 68.94%. Then, after giving treatment in cycle II, the students’ average score in post-test II was 87.17%. Based on the data the researcher concluded that: 1) there was the improvement coastal student eco-literacy by using mangrove storytelling in teaching environmental education at our environmental thematic subject 2) the students became interested and motivated in learning about mangroves.</p>

Finally, the role of teachers in improving female student academic performance were investigated. In doing so, the researcher adopted interview, focused group discussion and observations as data collection instruments. In addition, the researcher, prepared schedule composed of Proposed plan, action and evaluation for achieving the goals of this project. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean and Paired sample T- test. The finding of this Action research project revealed that; Lack of proper Tutorial class has significant effects on female students’ achievement with average mean of 3.55, followed by lack of pear learning with mean score of 3.40. further, the overall Average Score of female students Before intervention was 3.98. but, After the researcher and course instructor made intervention which described in methodology parts the overall Average Score of female students has increased to 6.65. The researcher recommends the female students to give due consideration for their education and to read cooperatively with their colleagues. Further, Teachers should encourage female students through providing enough and timely tutorials. Finally, Bonga university shall establish female students club that actively serves all female students of the university through preparing training and conferences on which they exchange experiences with each other if possible with other universities female students.

Therefore, singing is implemented in this study as a strategy to enhance the ability to speak. This study is aimed to find out the role of songs in enhancing the ability to speak for children in early childhood. This classroom action research is conducted in two cycles, there are: planning, acting out and observing, as well as reflecting. Data were collected by conducting observation technique, documentation, and test. It is shown from the results of the study that the ability of children to speak is increasing for every cycle. In the be- ginning, the cycle reached by only 56% or in the average 51, cycle I reached 60% with mean score68,08 and cycle 2 reached 97% with the average score 83. From the percentage, it is shown that re- sults of cycle II has passed the minimum score for students in Kindergarten level. In other words, it is proven that singing has been successfully implemented as a strategy in teaching speaking. It has enhanced the ability of children to speak. It is suggested for teachers in Kindergarten level to implement singing as a teaching strategy to bridge the need to teach Kindergarten students to speak during the learning process.

AbstractLearning media is an important factor in improving the quality of learning. This is due to the development of technology in the field of education that demands efficiency and effectiveness in learning. This study aims to determine the role of In House Training (IHT) activities in improving the ability of teachers to apply learning media at SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Kakap. This study uses two cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection and revision. The target of this research is the teachers of SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Kakap. The obtained data is the result of cyclical actions during the School Action Research (PTS) activity. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the implementation of has a positive impact in improving the ability of teachers to apply learning media. This is indicated by the increase in the acquisition score made by the teacher in each cycle from the results of the actions taken which are proven to increase the ability of teachers to apply learning media, namely the assessment of teacher activities when participating IHT activities from 21, in cycle 1 it increased to 25. .57 in cycle 2. Then the assessment of the teacher's ability to apply learning media also increased. Before the IHT activity was held, the average score of teachers in applying learning media was only 58.57%, while in cycle 1 the average score was 71 ,42% increased to 82.85% in cycle 2. Keywords: In House Training, Learning Media, Teacher Ability
