Purpose: The Single National Curriculum (SNC) is one of the basic items of manifesto of ruling party in Pakistan.  The academic capability of Children with Visual Impairment (CWVI) is usually considered as that of non-disabled students due to their good cognitive skills. Directorate of Special Education Punjab adopted the same curriculum for CWVI. This study is an effort to identify the standards, benchmarks and SLOs which are difficult to accomplish for CWVI. It was a qualitative study by method and curriculum review/document analysis technique was applied to study the SNC. The complete curriculum of seven key learning areas at early childhood level and following six subjects of English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Islamiat and General Science were studied at primary level. The data was retrieved from the website of National Curriculum Council, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, Government of Pakistan. Collected information was coded, major themes were derived and interpreted. Results revealed that a large number of standards, benchmarks and Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) were easy to accomplish for CWVI as non-disabled children but many standards, benchmarks and SLOs were not easy to accomplish for CWVI due to their visual limitations and lack of  sufficient need based support. The study recommended that proper adaptations, modifications and accommodations should be made for CWVI especially to attain the geometry, science and geography related standards, benchmarks and SLOs including adaptations proposed by Directorate of Special Education Punjab. Pictorial representations and visual tasks should be substituted with some other learning tasks for CWVI.

The conceptual foundations of the theory and practice of the professional formation of the personality in the system of special education are substantiated. The essence of the given training is considered in various ways, on the basis of which its qualitative and classification characteristics, levels and systemic and structural components are determined; the content, organizational and pedagogical conditions and criteria for assessing the levels of formation of these components aredefined. The following components of professional training are defined: professional and motivational, cognitive and competence, operational and active, productive and reflexive. It is indicated that the given structural components are interrelated, interdependent and complementary to each other. Theoretical paradigm is scientifically substantiated, the structural-functional, organizational-didactic model of the system of professional training in the field of special education is developed and tested and the dynamics of the formation of its components according to the results of the implementation of this system is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to finding and developing of the optimal set of methods of its providing, developing programs and definition of developed program’s efficiency. The practical results of scientists’ work in defining spheres are analyzed. The results of the experimental study of the components of the professional readiness to work on a specialty are highlighted. The purpose of the study were to analyze the Curriculum document of National Curriculum of mathematics of secondary grades. The study employed qualitative research paradigm within it the discourse analysis technique was used to analyze the mathematics curriculum document. Discourse analysis helps in understanding the written, spoken and signs language used in any document analysis. The sample of the study were foreword, introduction, objectives, reviewer’s notes and list of reviewers, the sections of mathematics in the national curriculum of mathematics (2006) for secondary grades. The findings of the study revealed that the National Curriculum of mathematics (NCM) 2006 was focused on transfer of Knowledge. However, it neglected the conceptual understanding of essential subject matter. It has been also discovered that the content of the mathematics is not taught according to the prescribed curriculum. Moreover, standard were not implemented properly. The role learners were recipient of knowledge and that of teachers is transmitter .Thus, it neglected the participatory and constructive approach of teaching and learning mathematics. Moreover, the curriculum ideology was not considered while developing the mathematics curriculum. It is suggested that the curriculum developers should revisit the policy on social constructive approach so that curriculum can be taught conceptually rather than standard based. Moreover, formative assessment should be included throughout the year rather taking annual examinations. It is recommended that teachers should impart mathematics education by linking math to social context and encourage students to construct meanings socially.

The article is devoted to the theoretical study of the problem of rehabilitation competence of a specialist in socionomic professions (teacher, psychologist, social worker, speech therapist, speech pathologist, rehabilitologist, specialist). On the basis of the theoretical analysis of the scientific literature the essential characteristics of rehabilitation activity of specialists of socionomic professions in the conditions of inclusion are allocated. The purpose of rehabilitation as a special type of activity aimed at revealing the potential of children with special educational needs, correction of psychophysiological development, compensation for lost functions, organization of a healthy lifestyle and restoration of interaction between the individual and students, and society. The expediency of formation of readiness of the specialist of the socionomic sphere to realization of command interaction in the conditions of inclusion is opened. The competence of team work is determined, which presupposes the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team during the development of an individual program of student development with special educational needs, to interact with other members of society; be aware of the values of joint work, partnerships, personal responsibility for creating successful communication of interaction. From the standpoint of the methodology of complex rehabilitation and competence approach, the terms “correctional and developmental work”, psychological "and pedagogical work”, “animation work” are formulated, which define the concept of educational rehabilitation.Emphasis is placed on the need to form rehabilitation competence in future primary school teachers of inclusive education as a highly qualified specialist in inclusive education, able to organize inclusive education in general secondary education. Rehabilitation competence of the future specialist of the socionomic profession is defined as the ability to perceive a child with special educational needs as he is, to give the opportunity to fully recover in society, remove psychological and pedagogical complexes and phobias, improve mental performance, lost cognitive skills and personal qualities, opportunity to introduce inclusive education in Ukraine.

The use of detector vibrating watch could help visually-impaired athletes to directly determine their position and when would they arrive to finish line. This conditioning could minimalize the crash between athletes because each athlete could finish in their respective supposed track. Thus, visually-impaired athletes could achieve their maximum time according to their ability without hindrance during the dash. However, the development of detector vibrating watch had not yet being used as assisting product in the specialized 100-meter dash for the visually-impaired. Appropriateness of this detector vibrating watch model for track dash required thinking from athletic sport, special education, and electrical engineering experts via focus group discussion. The result of expert development showed that the detector watch model was initiated from the 100-meter dash for people with visual-impairment.</span>
