Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan varisi dimensi profil I dan bentuk tulangan dengan dimensi lain menyesuaikan spesifikasi connecting rod Kawasaki Ninja 150 R. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa connecting rod dengan profil I, bentuk tulangan webbing merupakan tulangan paling optimal dengan ketebalan 8 mm dengan berat total 0,12 Kg.Kata kunci: connecting rod, tulangan baja, Al2024, ANSYSABSTRACTThe connecting rod serves to connect the piston to the crankshaft; this system forms a simple mechanism that converts straight motion into circular motion or vice versa. Generally, connecting rods are designed to be made in order to be strong and lightweight with steel material. Reducing the mass of the connecting rod can reduce the moment of engine inertia, improve the performance and fuel efficiency engine. This study aims to obtain the optimum dimensions of the connecting road using Al 2024 material and steel reinforcement 4340. The optimum dimension must be able to withstand the maximum stress and strain that occurs in the connecting rod when receiving compressive and tensile loads. The study was conducted by varying the dimensions of profile I and shape of reinforcement with other dimensions adjusting the specifications of the connecting rod Kawasaki Ninja 150 R. The results showed that the connecting rod with profile I, the form of webbing reinforcement was the most optimal reinforcement with a thickness of 8 mm and total mass 0,12 kg.Keywords: connecting rod, reinforcement steel, Al2024, ANSYS.

A technological passport of the alloy steel material has been formed, from which a piston-connecting rod pair of an axial-rotor piston pump is made in the form of functions: flow curve, plasticity diagram, Bauschinger curve, calibration graph. Using the approximation of the neck contour by the Gaussian function at any moment of deformation of a cylindrical specimen in the supercritical region, the main parameters used in engineering calculations are related: the minimum diameter of the specimen, the current diameter of the specimen with a given coordinate, the relative (absolute) elongation and contraction with the parameters referred to the moment of rupture sample. In addition, the elongation and contraction of the sample after fracture are unambiguously associated. The approximation avoids the inconvenient and relatively expensive video filming for studying the history of deformation. It is shown that the effect of heat treatment on the mechanical properties of these steels is not the same for different stress state schemes. The tensile strengths of these steels are close as delivered. The plasticity characteristics of steel 30Kh3MFA exceed the plasticity of steel 38Kh2MYuA by 1.5 times. The flow curves of the steels under consideration have the following tendency: so the coefficient of approximation of the flow curve for 38Kh2MYuA steel in the delivery state exceeds its value in relation to steel 30Kh3MFA by 1.23 times. After heat treatment of these steels, the value of the approximation coefficient increases: for steel 38Kh2MYuA by 1.11 times, for steel 30Kh3MFA by 1.46 times. The results obtained make it possible to control the mechanics of the technological operation of rolling the piston-connecting rod pair and create a process control mechanism in order to prevent rejects during the rolling process, which manifests itself in the form of going beyond the tolerance field for the axial clearance of the piston-connecting rod pair, as well as destruction during rolling of the inner part of the piston.

The modern lifestyle has led to an increase in the amount of solid waste in the world, and waste tires are one of the most generated. Annually billions of tons of waste tires are produced, so in this study, we sought to reuse them to make materials for civil construction. For this, a laboratory research was carried out where samples were made in 50 x 100 mm cylinders with traces of 0, 10, 15 and 20% (by weight) of waste, in addition to cement, natural sand and water. The granulometric distribution of waste tires and sand was also carried out. And, with the samples in cylinders, the physical and mechanical properties were evaluated, such as water absorption and apparent density, in addition to the analysis of the mechanical resistance to compression and the modulus of elasticity. The results showed that the granulometric distribution of the tire residue fits as a fine aggregate, similar to the sand granulometry. The water absorption rate of the waste specimens was less than 10%. However, the mechanical resistance decreases proportionally as the amount of tire waste has increased. However, when analyzing the behavior of the stress x strain curves, the specimens containing residues, became more flexible, as they are capable of supporting loads beyond the maximum stress. In this way, the resistance and the ability to absorb energy were increased. We concluded that it is possible to incorporate certain quantities of waste tires in blocks for civil construction, but without a structural function.

Abstract: In this paper we seek to develop a genealogy – always unfinished – about the ways in which politics – specifically in its militant and engaged dimensions – manifests itself in cinema, throughout a historical frame that privileges the militant and collective production from the sixties and the seventies. During this period, several collectives and individual initiatives emerged regarding an engaged cinema. By recovering some of these initiatives it is possible to also recapture the issues that they addressed, such as the act of delegating the camera to the workers, the relations between the images made in moments of urgency – the point of view – and its assemblage in montage, the modes of distribution of the militant films. Therefore, we realize that the moment of political challenge will also be of formal invention in the scope of cinema. Keywords: militant cinema; collective cinema; counter-information.

Millions in the world suffering diabetes mellitus depends on insulin therapy to control their blood glucose level daily. However, the painful daily injections they need to take could lead to other complications if it is not done correctly. To date, it is suggested by many researchers and medical doctors that the needles should be inserted at any angles of 90º or 45º. Nevertheless, this recommendation has not been supported by clinical or biomechanical evaluation. Hence, this study evaluates the needle insertion for insulin therapy to find the favourable angles in order to reduce injury and pain onto the skin. Finite element analysis was done by  simulating the injection of three-dimensional (3D) needle model into a 3D skin model. The insertions were simulated at two different angles, which are 45ºand 90º with two different lengths of needles; 4 mm and 6 mm. This study concluded the favourable angle for 4 mm needle to be 90º while 6 mm needle was best to be inserted at 45º as these angles exerted the least maximum stress and strain onto the skin.

The research involved in this paper falls into the area of analytical vibrations applied to planar mechanical linkages. Specifically, a study of the vibrations, associated with an elastic connecting-bar for a high-speed slider-crank mechanism, is made. To simplify the mathematical analysis, the vibrations of an externally viscously damped uniform elastic connecting bar is taken to be hinged at each end (i.e., the moment and displacement are assumed to vanish at each end). The equations governing the vibrations of the elastic bar are derived, a small parameter is found, and the solution is developed as an asymptotic expansion in terms of this small parameter with the aid of the Krylov-Bogoliubov method of averaging. The elastic stability is studied and the steady-state solutions for both the longitudinal and transverse vibrations are found.

The manufacture of mechanical components by means of biodegradable composites is the best alternative at the moment of reducing cost and weight, maintaining the mechanical characteristics. In this work the mechanical characteristics are shown as the result of combining a polyester matrix resin with a reinforcement of animal fiber such as horsehair. The results obtained correspond to mechanical characterization tests at traction, bending and impact by dart drop according to rules ASTM D3039/D3039M-17, D7264/D7264M-15 and D5628 respectively, made in four groups of test pieces of material combining a polyester matrix resin and reinforcement of horsemane. The development of materials composed of horsehair as reinforcements offers similar mechanical characteristics with traditional materials such as sheet steel or polymers, but with a considerable weight reduction, ideal for automotive applications such as bodywork or interior parts of vehicles.

In order to study the residual stress of the auto-frettagea super high pressure vessel effectively, a new stress and strain analytical formula is brought forward. It indicates that this analytical formula is more accurate under actual conditions for the steel applied in auto-frettagea super high pressure vessel through strict mathematical testimony. Subsequently, it describes how to establish this analytical formula and analyzes the analytical formula’s error through taking some material as an example. It illustrates that it is feasible and reliable to solve this new analytical formula basing on general tensile curves through this instance. The analytical formula is also of theoretical signification and engineering practical value in application.

This commentary focuses on Article 3.2.14 of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (PICC) concerning the retroactive effect of avoidance of a contract. Under Art 3.2.14, avoidance takes effect retroactively; that is, the contract is regarded as never having existed, and not merely as non-existent from the moment of avoidance. Unfulfilled obligations fall away and performances made in fulfilment of obligations have to be returned, according to Art 3.2.15. However, this is only a general proposition. Where avoidance only relates to certain terms of the contract, the other terms, whether fulfilled or unfulfilled, are left undisturbed, unless it would be unreasonable to do so. This commentary discusses the effect of retroactive avoidance in general, as well as its effect on contractual obligations, including unfulfilled and unaffected obligations and fulfilled obligations.

The investigations were made in the experimental sour cherry orchard from the Institute of Agriculture, Kyustendil, Bulgaria, during the period 2010-2014, in order to compare conventional and integrated sour cherry protection against cherry leaf spot and cherry fruit fly. Two variants were investigated, with two different treatment approaches for the control of cherry leaf spot and cherry fruit fly. Variant 1 – cherry leaf spot was controlled by protective treatments with dodin and tebuconazole + trifloxystrobin and cherry fruit fly was controlled by treatments with deltametrin and thiacloprid, independently of density. Variant 2 - cherry leaf spot was controlled by post-infection (curative) treatments with tebuconazole + trifloxystrobin and cherry fruit fly was controlled by treatments based on biological threshold: 10-11 cherry fruit fly females caught in traps up to the moment for chemical treatment. It was established that Blumeriella japii can be successfully controlled by post-infection treatments and by this the number of insecticide treatments was reduced. The treatments against cherry fruit fly can be avoided or reduced when the attack control is based on the biological threshold established in the studied area.
