The process of making composites into several main stages, namely preparation of tools, cutting of specimens. Then the base (glass) is cleaned and coated with molding wax and PVA. Mix the resin with the addition of variations of fly ash 0%, 10%, 20% and 30%. Next, apply resin and glass fiber to the base (glass) for up to 3 layers then press it. After 12 hours remove the specimen and cut it to size

In general, filament winding technique is used to fabricate the composite pipes using continuous fiber and matrix resin. In this study, fly ash based geopolymer resin composites reinforced by continuous glass fiber were used for fabrication and synthesized by different curing and sintering temperature, different pattern and different viscosity of geopolymer. The effects of that parameter on the product were investigated. The compressive properties of the resulting composite were determined on an Instron Universal Testing under compression mode and the results show that the helical pattern with low viscosity cured at 75°C give the highest strength.

In this study, the effect of adding nanosize additive to glass fiber reinforced composite plates on mechanical properties and surface milling was investigated. In the light of the investigations, with the addition of MWCNTs additive in the composite production, the strength of the material has been changed and the more durable composite materials have been obtained. Slots were opened with different cutting speed and feed rate parameters to the composite layers. Surface roughness of the composite layers and slot size were examined and also abrasions of cutting tools used in cutting process were determined. It was observed that the addition of nanoparticles to the laminated glass fiber composite materials played an effective role in the strength of the material and caused cutting tool wear.
