This study empirically investigates the simultaneous association between the quality of environmental performance (EP) and financial performance of firms selected from three Asian countries—Japan, South Korea, and India. The content analysis technique based on a four-point scale was used to measure the quality of EP, whereas financial performance was measured based on the market-to-book ratio. Employing system generalized method of moments and fixed effects regression model in a system of two-equation model, the study finds that EP has a positive impact on financial performance. Similarly, the financial performance has a positive influence on the quality of EP. The findings of the study indicate that a firm can enhance its overall financial performance by improving its EP. This implies that firms not only improve their economic performance through environmentally responsible business practices, but also help in fulfilling some of the sustainable development goals of the United Nation’s 2030 development agenda.

Heterogeneous firm trade theory holds that firms' productivity is closely related to firms' export mode and Corporate Environmental Performance (CEP). CEP as one of the important elements associated with firms' productivity, has a significant impact on firms' export mode. The objective of the paper is to assess the enterprises with import and export business in Maoming City. Primary data was used to obtain data, while binary logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the data to determine the influence of CEP on export mode. The results show that the CEP has a positive impact on the export mode. Furthermore, results show that enterprises with better CEP are more inclined to choose the direct export mode, and vice versa. This result is consistent with the theory of heterogeneous firm trade. The study recommends that the Chinese government should give full consideration to the export mode of enterprises when making export policies and make full use of CEP's positive influence on the export mode to promote the internationalisation strategy of enterprises and realise the maximisation of enterprise value.

ABSTRACT:Improving the quality of education becomes very important nowadays to meet the increasing demands of graduates’ future institutions. This research adopts five dimensions of service quality initiated by Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry (servqual) to assess the quality of academic services affecting student satisfaction. Once the determinants are known, they can be used by policy makers to improve student satisfaction levels. After identifying the determinant factors, policy makers can use them to improve the level of satisfaction of students. There are 100 respondents who participated in this research. The data was collected using surveys and analyzed using structural equation modeling with Smart PLS 3.0. The results showed that among five hypotheses tested, all variables have the positive influence, however, there are two latent variables which have significant associations, while the others have not. Responsiveness and empathy have positive and significant impact on the student satisfaction, while tangible, reliability and assurance have a positive impact but not significant. Keywords: customs student satisfaction, service quality, servqual, SEM.ABSTRAK:Meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan menjadi sangat penting dewasa ini untuk memenuhi tuntutan kebutuhan unit pengguna yang semakin meningkat. Collaboration in R&D has had a positive influence on the performance of firms, but little is known about its impact on organizational innovation. Therefore, this article analyzes the influence of R&D collaboration on firms' ability to introduce organizational innovation. A quantitative approach was used, based on a sample of 5.079 Portuguese firms from the CIS 2010-Community Innovation Survey 2010. The empirical evidence showed R&D collaboration with clients to be predominant in organizational innovation adoption. Cooperation with competitors, universities and state laboratories has no significant influence. R&D collaboration with other firms within the same group, and with suppliers has a significant positive impact on organizational innovation in the workplace. In addition, collaboration with consultants is significant in business practices and external relations. Several theoretical and practical implications are presented.

This study aims to determine the effect of MGMP teacher organization empowerment on the quality of teacher learning, and its impact on improving students' ability to solve problems. The writing is part of a study on the empowerment of MGMP conducted in five cities in Indonesia in mid-2019. The sample of this study was teachers with each MGMP taken 25 of those classified as seniors (more than 10 years) as teachers (125 people in total). Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, focus group discussions (FGD) and interviews. The results showed that the empowerment of MGMP was influenced by the training variables of increasing competency and parents' participation. The empowerment of MGMP itself has a positive influence on the quality of teacher learning, so that it has a positive impact on improving students' ability to solve problems. On that basis the government must encourage the empowerment of teacher organizations on an ongoing basis, not temporary. In addition, the government needs to review the regulations prohibiting schools from raising funds from parents, because it is indeed necessary to encourage the implementation of quality improvement programs in schools, including assisting teachers in participating in MGMP activities and forming professional communities.

The influence of income on the subjective happiness of teachers in Chinese private universities is researched in this paper. First of all, considering the features of the Chinese private university, the measuring model of the subjective happiness of teachers in higher institutions was established. Then, the private university teachers in China were taken as investigation objects to collect data samples. Finally, based on the questionnaire data, the author will verify the measuring model by using the structural equation model. The empirical research results show that the welfare system of the investor has a positive impact on the teacher income, and the income has a notable positive impact on the subjective happiness of teachers through consumption level and housing conditions. Therefore, it has a significant positive influence on the subjective happiness of the teachers in Chinese private colleges. With the higher income, the subjective happiness of the teachers becomes stronger. In addition, the welfare system of the investor will also have a positive influence on the subjective happiness of the teachers through expenditure system, management culture, and enterprise welfare.
