Data Warehouse is a computer system for archiving and analyzing historical data of an organization. An organization copies information from its operational systems to a warehouse. The purpose of this research is to help provide information in supporting the decision-making process in the field of sales, purchasing and material inventory control at PT Kanaan Global Indonesia. PT Kanaan Global Indonesia previously presented the data warehouse manually. By designing a data warehouse system, company leaders can be more assisted in making decisions that are faster and more precise. The research method used includes analysis of observations, interviews, documentation and literature study. The result of this research is the availability of a data warehouse that can produce fast and precise information, thus helping the company in making decisions. Keywords— Data, Information, Warehouse

The increasing competition in hotel business forces every hotel to be equiped with analysis tools that can maximize its marketing performance. This paper discusses the development of a data warehouse model and analytic tools to enhance the company's competitive advantage through the utilization of a variety of data, information and knowledge held by the company as a raw material in the decision making process. A study is done at ABC Hotel which uses a database to save the transactional record. However, the database cannot be directly used to support analysis and decision making process. Based on this issue, the company needs a data warehouse model and analytic tools that can be used to store large amounts of data and also potentially to gain a new perspective of data distribution which allows to provide reporting and answers of ad hoc users questions and assist managers in making decisions. Further data warehouse model and analytic tools can be used to help manager to formulate planning and marketing strategies. Data are collected through interviews and literature study, followed by data analysis to analyze business processes, to identify the problems and the information to support analysis process. Furthermore, data warehouse is designed using analysis of records related to the activities in hotel's marketing area and data warehouse model. The result of this paper is data warehouse model and analytic tools to analyze the external and transactional data and to support decision making process in marketing area.

The organizations are investing more in information technology to collect, store and process vast amounts of information. Generally this information has no standard and repeated data, which hinders the decision making process. The cause of the difficulties is related to Information Quality (IQ) that has technical characteristics related to the architecture used in Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) environments. Based on the existing literature and insights from the author a research model was created to identify the relations between components of DW/BI architecture and IQ dimensions. We used the case study as research method. This research makes contributions to better understand IT architecture for DW/BI.

SYNOPSIS This paper aims to promote the application of deep learning to audit procedures by illustrating how the capabilities of deep learning for text understanding, speech recognition, visual recognition, and structured data analysis fit into the audit environment. Based on these four capabilities, deep learning serves two major functions in supporting audit decision making: information identification and judgment support. The paper proposes a framework for applying these two deep learning functions to a variety of audit procedures in different audit phases. An audit data warehouse of historical data can be used to construct prediction models, providing suggested actions for various audit procedures. The data warehouse will be updated and enriched with new data instances through the application of deep learning and a human auditor's corrections. Finally, the paper discusses the challenges faced by the accounting profession, regulators, and educators when it comes to applying deep learning.

On the basis of analysis of existing approaches to the process of decision making, in this article the procedure of taking optimal operational decisions is proposed, which describes in detail all of its aspects and features related to the specifics of the operational activities of transport enterprises. In this procedure the basic steps are those directly related to the modeling: formulation of the problem (formalization of the original problem), construction of the model, its solution, credibility and adequacy check, restoration (or adjustment) of the model. The object of the research is decision-making process in the operational management of transport enterprises. The purpose of the research is to develop a procedure for the process of making optimal operational decisions based on existing approaches to the decision-making process, using modeling as a scientific tool to substantiate them. The research method is methods of system analysis and modeling. It has been discovered that the need to reduce the subjectivity of the process of making important decisions in the operational activities of transport enterprises and increase its scientific validity is especially relevant today, in the face of threats and uncertainty about the external environment of the organization. All methods of rational decision-making are based on models, which, in turn, are scientific tools. Modeling creates a serious informational and methodological basis for structural analysis of decisions needed to improve the management process for operational managers and hence - to increase the level of management in general, because it makes them more systematic, and the tools used during this help them be more rational. The results of the article can be implemented during making complex and important management decisions in the operational activities of both transport enterprises and other business entities of various activities, regardless of the organizational and legal form and ownership. KEY WORDS: MODELING METHOD, MODELING, MODEL, TRANSPORT ENTERPRISE, OPERATIONAL ACTIVITY, OPERATIONS MANAGER, MANAGEMENT DECISION.

As an Educational institutions need to have more knowledge, in evaluating, designing and making decisions. Where from such knowledge can be obtained from the data stored in the operational activities of educational institutions databases into the data warehose, so it can be used as a support in the decision making process. Data Warehouse has a major role in the provision of strategic information that can be used to meet the needs of management in a business context. This study examines the development of the data warehouse to the data of new admissions to the STIE Binaniaga Bogor, which can dig up important information that can help retrieval strategic decision to support promotional activities at the STIE Binaniaga Bogor. The final goal of this study was to produce a design of a data warehouse that can support the needs of management in making decisions by providing strategic information on new admissions, which produces a summary of information that is accurate and useful as input to determine strategies for promotion.

Recently, organizations have increasingly emphasized applications in which current and historical data are analyzed and explored comprehensively, identifying useful trends and creating summaries of the data in order to support high-level decision making. Every organization keeps accumulating data from different functional units, so that they can be analyzed (after integration), and important decisions can be made from the analytical results. Conceptually, a data warehouse is extremely simple. As popularized by Inmon (1992), it is a “subject-oriented, integrated, time-invariant, non-updatable collection of data used to support management decision-making processes and business intelligence”. A data warehouse is a repository into which are placed all data relevant to the management of an organization and from which emerge the information and knowledge needed to effectively manage the organization. This management can be done using data-mining techniques, comparisons of historical data, and trend analysis. For such analysis, it is vital that (1) data should be accurate, complete, consistent, well defined, and time-stamped for informational purposes; and (2) data should follow business rules and satisfy integrity constraints. Designing a data warehouse is a lengthy, time-consuming, and iterative process. Due to the interactive nature of a data warehouse application, having fast query response time is a critical performance goal. Therefore, the physical design of a warehouse gets the lion’s part of research done in the data warehousing area. Several techniques have been developed to meet the performance requirement of such an application, including materialized views, indexing techniques, partitioning and parallel processing, and so forth. Next, we briefly outline the architecture of a data warehousing system.
