Host cell invasion by intracellular, eukaryotic parasites, like the many important species within the phylum Apicomplexa, is a remarkable and active process involving the coordinated action of many apical organelles and other structures. To date, capturing how these various structures interact during invasion has been difficult to observe in detail. Here, we used cryogenic electron tomography to generate images of the apical complex of Toxoplasma gondii tachyzoites under conditions that mimic resting parasites and those primed to invade through addition of a calcium ionophore. Using AI-based image-processing we were able to annotate 48 tomograms to identify and extract densities of the relevant subcellular organelles and accurately analyze features in 3D. We describe an interaction between an anteriorly located apical vesicle and a rhoptry tip that occurs only in the ionophore-stimulated parasites and that is associated with dramatic changes in the vesicle's shape in what appears to be a stalled fusion event. We also present information to support the presumption that this vesicle originates from the well-described vesicles that parallel the intraconoidal microtubules and that the latter two structures are linked by a novel tether. Lastly, we show that a previously described rosette is found associated with more than just the anterior-most apical vesicle, indicating that multiple such vesicles are primed to enable rhoptry secretion.

Abstract. Geographic information system (GIS) is known traditionally for the modelling of two-dimensional (2D) geospatial analysis and therefore present information about the extensive spatial framework. On the other hand, building information modelling (BIM) is digital representation of building life cycle. The increasing use of both BIM and GIS simultaneously because of their mutual relationship, as well as their similarities, has resulted in more relationships between both worlds, therefore the need for their integration. A significant purpose of these similarities is importing BIM data into GIS to significantly assist in different design-related issues. However, currently this is challenging due to the diversity between the two worlds which includes diversity in coordinate systems, three-dimensional (3D) geometry representation, and semantic mismatch. This paper describes an algorithm for the conversion of IFC data to CityGML in order to achieve the set goal of sharing information between BIM and GIS domains. The implementation of the programme developed using python was validated using an IFC model (block HO2) of a student’s hostel, Kolej Tun Fatima (KTF). The conversion is based on geometric and semantic information mapping and the use of 3D affine transformation of IFC data from local coordinate system (LCS) to CityGML world coordinate system (WCS) (EPSG:4236). In order to bridge the gap between the two data exchange formats of BIM and GIS, we conducted geometry and semantic mapping. In this paper, we limited the conversion of the IFC model on level of details 2 (LOD2). The conversion will serve as a bridge toward the development of a software that will perform the conversion to create a strong synergy between the two domains for purpose of sharing information.

Anemia in adolescent girls still shows a high prevalence rate. The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia at the age of 5-14 is 26.4%, 18.4% of patients aged 15-24 years, and women have a high risk of anemia, especially in adolescent girls. Adolescent girls with anemia will have changed the menstrual cycle. The importance of learning adolescent nutritional status will be strategic planning for decreased nutritional macro and micro deficiencies in women. This community dedication aimed to present information about the risk of anemia through student empowerment and hematological examination (hemoglobin-hematocrit). A piece of good and proper knowledge about balanced Nutrition is an essential point of anemia prevention in adolescents.

Aristotle once said, “The soul never thinks without a mental image.” From the author's experience as an ESL program director, ESL instructor, technology coach, and teacher educator, this saying is absolutely true. This chapter reviews an innovative web-based platform and a technology-based approach to teaching called Popplet that can be found at www.popplet.com. Popplet is a mind mapping application and a graphic organizer that allows teachers and students to create visually pleasing graphic organizers that integrate different features such as colors, texts, images, videos, and links to organize and present information. In addition to its use to enhance students' brainstorming, presentation, and discussion techniques, Popplet can also support the students' 21st century skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. This chapter will highlight some of Popplet's important features for teachers who would consider implementing it in their teaching pedagogy in the future.

Aim/Purpose: A literature review is often criticized for the absence of coherent construction, synthesis of topics, and well-reasoned analysis. A framework is needed for novice researchers to organize and present information obtained from the literature review. Background: Information and communication technologies advancement have yielded overwhelming information. The massive availability of information poses several challenges, including storage, processing, meaningful organization, and presentation for future consumption. Information System Researchers have developed frameworks, guidelines, and tools for gathering, filtering, processing, storing, and organizing information. Interestingly, information system researchers have vast information that needs meaningful organization and presentation to the research fraternity while conducting a literature review on a research topic. Methodology: This paper describes a framework called LACTiC (Location, Author, Continuum, Time, and Category) that we adapted from another framework called LATCH (Location, Alphabetical, Time, Category, and Hierarchy). LATCH was used to organize and present information on e-commerce websites for seamless navigation. We evaluated the LACTiC framework. Contribution: Information System Researchers can use the LACTiC framework to organize information obtained from literature review. Findings: The evaluation reveals that most researchers from information systems organize information obtained from the literature review category-wise, followed by continuum, author, time, and location. Recommendation for Researchers: Overall, the framework works well and can be helpful for researchers for an initial idea for organizing information obtained from the literature review. Future Research: To conceptualize the framework, the study was carried out using Information Systems related literature. To generalize the proposed framework, we may suggest that the study can be extended to other areas of business management, such as marketing, finance, operation, decision sciences, accounting, and economics.

Rooted in the dialogic communication model, the main objective of this study is to analyse the interactivity level of websites of gastronomy museums in Turkey. Thus, it will be unearthed whether gastronomy museums are progressing towards more dialogic or are staying informative systems with the relationship with their target audience. Via content analysis on websites, two questions were sought: (1) What kind of tools are utilized to present information? (2) What tools or resources are utilized on websites to interact with virtual visitors? The data were analysed by comparing private and public museums. The results indicate that the websites of gastronomy museums in Turkey have a medium level of interaction in presenting information and a low level of interaction in the tools available to virtual visitors. And thus, it can be said that museums use their websites for one-way communication, which are not fit for dialogic communication. This is valid for both private and public museums. Managerial implications were discussed, and future research directions are presented.

In this research, the authors compared the framing strategy used by the ANTARA media and TEMPO media for the issue of the ratification of the Omnibus Law on Job Creation. This research was conducted descriptively with comparative qualitative approach. A qualitative document procedure was applied in collecting the data. Fairclough's framework of Critical Discourse Analysis and the framing analysis model by Pan and Kosicki (1993) were combined to analyze the data. The result of the data analysis is presented in the table and the interpretation form. The result shows that TEMPO's framing strategy is more clearly defined, while ANTARA's strategy is less clear. In building a negative or positive representation, TEMPO Media tries to present information supported by many sources. Then, the use of images in TEMPO news supports the truth of information, while the use of images in ANTARA media improves the quality of information sources. The five news stories from ANTARA media selected in this study always use the face image of the selected informant as a source of news information.

There have been several reported cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2) infection that were associated with an increased incidence of neurological manifestations, including Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS). This review aims to present information on the reports of GBS associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Our review is retrospective work examining articles published from the 1 April 2020 to the 8 May 2021 in the English language. We used the diagnostic criteria and classification published by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and Brighton Collaboration. GBS is usually a postinfectious syndrome, but GBS in the COVID-19 pandemic also takes on a para-infectious profile. In the reports, the genetic factor has a role in developing GBS in some patients. In conclusion, the association between COVID-19 and GBS is not very clear. Still, one mechanism is strongly associated with COVID-19 and immune-mediated neurological complications, which is molecular mimicry between SARS-CoV-2 and human autoantigens.
