Islamic education during the New Order experienced a growth both quantitatively and in terms of the quality of the organization. The New Order policy in Islamic Education, for example: the government implemented Islamic religious education taught in elementary schools to higher education, madrasa institutions and pesantren began to be recognized, the provision of facilities and others. Government policies during the New Order era, although providing fresh air for the development of Islamic education, the stakeholders must fight and work hard to convince the government so that the existence of Islamic education remains recognized and has the same position with other education nationally.

Some circles suggest that the phenomenon of intolerance and religious conflict in Indonesia will be reduced by a religious education model dominated by a mono-religious approach. The approach that focuses on deepening the knowledge of all religions is considered to be the cause of the persistence of interfaith stigma and prejudice. However, there are objections from various circles to the concept and application of interreligious education which requires close dialogue and interaction, an appreciative attitude, and openness to adherents of other religions. This article argues that the development of a peaceful and diverse mono-religious education approach is possible. This study employs Mohammed Abu-Nimer's theory as an alternative model of Islamic peace education that is strategic, participatory and practical; it focuses on his experience in conflict areas and in the Islamic education environment, which is often stigmatized conservatively in the Middle East and Africa. This study confirms that monoreligious education provides room for peace education that builds pedagogy of tolerance, diversity and human rights.

Purpose The paper aims to critically examine the bibliographic utility as a roadmap to increase library consortia and provide an insight into a new library consortia strategy that integrates librarians into a system of sharing both resources and knowledge. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted a literature review approach with a focus on bibliographic utility as a necessary prerequisite for effective library consortia, which is a paradigm shift from the concept of individual ownership to a collective access of distributed network resources and knowledge. Findings The reviewed literature indicated that significant bibliographic utilities and integrated library systems are factors that shaped and developed consortia activities in libraries. Originality/value The bibliographic utility has limited literature, and a few published scholarly studies have combined bibliographic utility and library consortia as strategies to share resources and knowledge

In Islamic religious education, the Qur'an is a source that is used as the foundation of the Islamic religion. Therefore, the Qur'an has an urgent position in guiding and directing people in their daily lives. However, there is a large gap between the importance of reading the Qur'an with the ability to read the Qur'an in Muslim communities in Indonesia. . The Chancellor of the al-Qur'an Institute of Higher Education (PTIQ) Jakarta, Nazaruddin Umar assessed that people who are illiterate al-Qur'an are still high in Indonesia. therefore it is necessary to apply effective and innovative methods of learning the the al-Qur'an. The supporting factors for the application of the waqa method include: the material taught is not much different from the material that has usually been studied, the TPQ Al-Ikhlash assistants help researchers during the process of applying the "Wafa" method at TPQ Al-Ikhlash, the students are orderly and cooperative during the experimental activities. This is certainly very helpful in carrying out the activities of teaching the Koran with the "Wafa" method. While the inhibiting factors for the application of the "Wafa" method include: Santri in one class are 42 children. This is certainly too much because learning the Qur'an is ideally done in small classes. Learning time becomes insufficient because of the sufficient quantity of students.

Abstract This contribution discusses the recent ‘paradigm shift’ in Danish refugee policy towards temporary protection and return in light of the law of the international legal standards governing when an asylum state can end the protection of refugees. The article provides an overview of the spectrum of cessation standards drawing on the 1951 Refugee Convention, complementary protection under human rights law and the concept of temporary protection, before setting out the legislative changes making up the Danish ‘paradigm shift’. The Danish case reveals a structural gap in the law of cessation as it regards to complementary protection. The lack of a comprehensive complementary protection framework in some jurisdictions leaves the law open to governments wishing to instrumentalise and minimise protection obligations. Finally, the article analyses legal and policy implications of the policy turn, discussing Denmark’s potential role as a forerunner in temporary protection and cessation, gaps in the law of cessation vis-à-vis complementary protection, and calling for increased scholarly focus on the law of cessation.

The issue of empowering women has been and still is the preoccupation of various humanitarian organizations, especially human rights organizations. Regarding the issue of human rights in Iraq, it is extremely difficult, because of the exceptional circumstances ordered by Iraq, which made it an arena for human rights violations. Vulnerable groups, they are more affected by the surrounding circumstances, such as violence, displacement, terrorism, displacement, widowhood, and others ... especially with regard to measures to empower women, because what women suffer in our society is a heap of discriminatory traditional culture against them and their lack of awareness of themselves and Their legitimate rights, in addition to weak government policies, and the lack of resources and opportunities, and herein lies the problem. The importance of the research stems from the importance of the role of women in society and the social, economic, health and political dimensions that this role represents, and the extent of its impact on the development process in Iraq. As for its objectives, it is to stand on the role of human rights organizations in empowering women in all social, economic, political and health fields, from which we have deduced most of them marginalization and discrimination on the basis of gender, and then we proposed some enabling measures, hoping through them to integrate women in all levels of development . Key words : role, organizations, human rights, empowerment, women .
