Education is one of the supporting factors to improve the quality of human resources and is shown by the higher standard of education and along with progress in the 21st century. In this century, we know the term generation millennial, in general, it is found among students who are approaching adulthood and already have many communication devices inform of the smartphone. The use of a smartphone as educational media that is not maximally used.-based electronic teaching materials for android students is not available until now although there are currently very few to use. The purpose of this study is to produce an e-book based on android the structure and function of animal tissue that is valid and practical. This type of research is research and development. The method used in this research development is to use a plomp model. The object of the study consisted of one biology teacher and 35 students of Class XI MIPA at SMAN 3 Padang. Based on the results of this study produced e-book based on android on the material structure and function of animal tissue that showed an average value of 86.56% (very valid) based on validator ratings, practicality assessments by biology teachers showed an average value of 96.25% (very practical) and practicality assessment of field tests by 35 students obtained an average value of 86.66% (very practical). So, it can be concluded that the e-book based on android on the material structure and functions of animal tissue developed is very valid and very practical to use.

There has been no development or preparation of microtechnical modules on the material structure and function of plant tissues equipped with preparations. Therefore, the purpose of this research and development was to produce modules equipped with microtechnical preparations and analyze their quality through validation of teaching materials experts, material experts, and readability by teachers and students on small- and large-scale trials. This type of research was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the development research were in the form of a product of a biology practicum module with microtechnical preparations. The quality of the modules according to the teaching materials experts and materials experts was very good with the percentages of 80.6% and 99.4%, respectively. The result of the teacher's response was 81.4% with a very good category and readability by students on a small and large scale respectively 88% and 82.7%. Based on this assessment, it shows that the module with this preparation was suitable for use as teaching material by teachers in biology learning activities on the structure and function of plant tissue.

The activeness of students in learning is of course very necessary because by activating their five senses, they will learn more meaningfully. One of the teaching methods that can activate students' five senses is the inquiry method. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in science learning outcomes at MIS Gampong Mutia. The design of this study used a control group posttest design. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes for the material structure and function of plant parts. The results showed that there was an increase in science learning outcomes in classes that applied the inquiry method. So it can be said that this guided inquiry method is appropriate for use on the material structure and function of plant parts

One of the goals of rehabilitation of children with disabilities (HHS) is to improve their quality of life. For this purpose, various technical means, devices and adaptations which solve a number of problems in life of the child are developed. But there is another aspect that affects the quality of life of such children — is the attitude of people around them. The child is emotionally unstable individual, his psyche is very vulnerable to react to negative emotions. In this case the saying that ‘meet on clothes’ is very applicable. And if the child looks aesthetically pleasing, then others perceive him positively. But in some diseases (physical deviations from the norm) there is no ergonomic and aesthetic clothing. The paper considers the interaction of the systems Society — Textile means of rehabilitation — Child. It is revealed that textile means of rehabilitation, including inclusive clothing have an impact not only on the child’s condition, but also on the emotional state of the society in contact with him, especially his parents. Research on the systematization of information about violations of the structure and function of the body allowed to identify and group the possible causes of violations of the proportions of the child’s body. Some can be compensated by the use of fixing products, others through the use of illusions that contribute to the visual alignment of the proportions of the child. The article formulates the basic principles of designing textile means of rehabilitation and inclusive clothing for children with disabilities, aimed at harmonizing the perception of the external appearance of the child.

Abstract. The type of research is research and development (R & D). The purpose of this research was to develop of Biological learning module based on Scale Process Skills (SPS) on material structure and function of tissue animal that is valid and practical for Senior High School students. The development procedure used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of five stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection was done through the validation process of the learning module and questionnaire responses of students and teachers to the learning module. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that SPS of based biology learning modules were "valid" and "very practical". Valid because the SPS of based biology learning module developed has fulfilled the validity criteria in the valid category. The learning module is said to be very practical because students and teachers respond very positively to the learning module. Keywords: biology module, science process skills, structure and function of  animals tissue

Abstract Background: Word embedding approaches have revolutionized natural language processing (NLP) research. These approaches aim to map words to a low-dimensional vector space, in which words with similar linguistic features cluster together. Embedding-based methods have also been developed for proteins, where words are amino acids and sentences are proteins. The learned embeddings have been evaluated qualitatively, via visual inspection of the embedding space and extrinsically, via performance comparison on downstream protein prediction tasks. However, these sequence embeddings have the caveat that biological metadata do not exist for each amino acid, in order to measure the quality of each unique learned embedding vector. Results: Here, we present dom2vec, an approach for learning protein domain embeddings using word2vec on InterPro annotations. In contrast to sequence embeddings, biological metadata do exist for protein domains, related to each domain separately. Therefore, we present four intrinsic evaluation strategies to quantitatively assess the quality of the learned embedding space. To perform a reliable evaluation in terms of biology knowledge, we selected the metadata related to the most distinctive biological characteristics of domains. These are the structure, enzymatic and molecular function of a given domain. Notably, dom2vec obtains adequate level of performance in the intrinsic assessment, therefore we can draw an analogy between the local linguistic features in natural languages and the domain structure and function information in domain architectures. Moreover, we demonstrate the dom2vec applicability on protein prediction tasks, by comparing it with state-of-the-art sequence embeddings in three downstream tasks. We show that dom2vec outperform sequence embeddings for toxin and enzymatic function prediction and is comparable with sequence embeddings in cellular location prediction. Conclusions: We report that the application of word2vec on InterPro annotations produces domain embeddings with two significant advantages over sequence embeddings. First, each unique dom2vec vector can be quantitatively evaluated towards its available structure and function metadata. Second, the produced embeddings can outperform the sequence embeddings for a subset of downstream tasks. Overall, dom2vec embeddings are able to capture the most important biological properties of domains and surpass sequence embeddings for a subset of prediction tasks.

This study aims to determine the implementation of inquiry methods that can improve students' critical thinking skills on the concept of structure and function of plant tissues at the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh (Aceh State Sports School). The population of this research is the many 112 students of class XI of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh. The sample in this study were 26 students in class XI-1 as an experimental class and 26 students in class XI-2 as a control class. The method used is a descriptive method with a structural approach. Data collection is done by test techniques and data processing using the t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that the average ability or average value of class XI-1 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test received 80.7. While the average value of class XI-2 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test gets 70. Based on the price of t-counts and t-tables at a significant level of 0.05 with db: 50 of the sample class XI, then t- the count is 6.40 and the t-table is 1.66. So that the hypothesis proposed the implementation of inquiry methods can improve students' critical thinking skills on the concept of the structure and function of plant tissues in the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh is Accepted. It is recommended that this research can increase knowledge through the use of inquiry methods in all biological science subject matter.
