This study aims to produce a traditional game model as character building a physical education learning of elementary school students which is decent, effective and appropriate. The simple game model is expected to be able to develop affective, cognitive and psychomotor domains, and can be used by teachers in implementing the learning activitiesespecially physical education. This research was carried out by adapting the steps of research development Borgand Gall (2007: 580-581), which is modified into 8 step implementation of research which includes: (1) the collection of information (2) analysis of the information gathered (3) developing the initial product, (4) validation by experts and revision (5) small-scale field trials and revision (6) large-scale field trials and revisions (7) the manufacture of final products, and (8) test the effectiveness of the product. Small-scale trials were conducted to 20 students in SD Nsiramanan 3. A large trial was conducted to 22 students in SDN Kesamben 5 and 22 students in SDN Babadan 1. The instrument used to collect data were observation guide (observation), interviews, field notes, scale values, assessment sheets of effectiveness test and assessment of learning outcomes. Guttman Scale Data Analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The result of the research is a simple game model consisting models of the game, namely: Goteng (Gobak sodor dan bentengan). Model games are arranged in the form of manuals and DVDs with the title “knowledge as traditional game”. Based on the results of expert assessment of materials and trainers it can be concluded that the traditional game model as character building in physical educational learning for the elementary school students is able to develop affective, cognitive and psychomotor domains.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model permainan polo air sebagai pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model permainan ini diharapkan mampu mengembangkan aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Hasil penelitian berupa model permainan, yang berisikan 10 model permainan, yaitu: (1) permainan satu sapu, (2) permainan lingkaran lumba, (3) permainan jaga kertasnya, (4) permainan estalun, (5) permainan sirip hiu, (6) permainan bom nelayan, (7) permainan lumba berebut bola, (8) permainan lempar target, (9) permainan lempar kejar, dan (10) permainan polo air. <p><em>The study was conducted through two stages: (1) pre-development stage, which  includes; (a) review of relevant literature and research, and (b) field studies, (2) the development stage,which includes; (a) drafting, (b) validation expert, (c) testing of small-scale models, (d) testing large-scale models, and (e) of the final product.The small-scale tryout was conducted by involving 30 students of upper grades. The large-scale tryout was conducted by involving 130 students of upper grades. The data collecting instruments were an interview guideline, a questionnaire to assess characters of traditional games, a questionnaire to assess the traditional game development, a questionnaire for the assessment by the media expert, and a questionnaire for the evaluation by students. Based on the assessment by experts andteachers of physical, sports, and health education, it was  concluded that the developed models of traditional games were effective to be used in the learning for the students of upper grades.</em></p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model tarian bonet untuk kebugaran jasmani dalam pembelajaran Penjasorkes di sekolah dasar (SD) yang layak digunakan guru sekolah dasar sebagai salah satu bentuk model pembelajaran Penjasorkes yang bervariasi dan menyenangkan. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan informasi di lapangan, (2) melakukan analisis terhadap informasi yang telah dikumpulkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal (draf model), (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba lapangan skala besar dan revisi, dan (7) pembuatan produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 20 siswa SD Inpres Oebesa Soe. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 25 siswa SD Inpres Oefatu Soe. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu; (1) angket, (2) lembar pedoman observasi tarian bonet, dan (3) lembar format penilaian anak. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan senam tarian bonet untuk kebugaran jasmani dalam pembelajaran Penjasorkes di SD. Produk penelitian pengembangan berupa buku pedoman senam tarian bonet dan DVD pembelajaran senam tarian bonet untuk kebugaran jasmani dalam pembelajaran Penjasorkes di SD. Dari hasil penilaian para ahli, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model tarian bonet untuk kebugaran jasmani yang dibuat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Penjasorkes di SD.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, tarian bonet, kebugaran jasmani, sekolah dasar Developing Bonet Dance for Physical Fitness in Physical Education in the Elementary School AbstractThis study aims to produce a model of bonet dance for physical fitness in physical education in elementary school appropriate as a form of learning models which are varied and fun. The  Techniques of data analysis used were descriptive quantitative analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. This study resulted in a gymnastics bonet dance for physical fitness in physical education in elementary school. The developed product is a form of gymnastic dance manuals and instructional DVD of bonet dance for physical fitness in physical education in elementary school. From the results of the expert evaluations of the materials, it can be concluded that the developed model for physical fitness bonet dance is fit for use for teaching physical education in elementary school.Keywords: development, bonet dance, physical fitness, elementary school

Peneilitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku panduan model pembelajaran integratif pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan SD kelas satu di Kecamatan Depok Sleman melalui permainan semutan. Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri atas dua tahap, yaitu tahap pra-pengembangan dan tahap pengembangan. Tahap pra-pengembangan terdiri dari kajian literatur, kajian penelitian relevan dan studi lapangan. Tahap pengembangan terdiri penyusunan draf model, validasi ahli, ujicoba terbatas, dan ujicoba luas. Validasi ahli melibatkan 5 orang ahli dengan menggunakan teknik Delphi. Ujicoba skala terbatas dilakukan di SD Deresan. Ujicoba skala luas dilakukan di SD Deresan dan SD Catur Tunggal 7. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, angket dan pedoman pengamatan penilaian. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil ujicoba skala terbatas dalam kategori baik dan ujicoba skala luas dalam kategori sangat baik. Model pembelajaran integratif pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan efektif untuk meningkatkan afektif (ketertiban dan percaya diri), keterampilan (melempar), pengetahuan (penguasaan pengetahuan permainan dan ketepatan menghitung bola) bagi siswa SD kelas satu. Developing integrative learning model of penjasorkes of elementary school students AbstractThis study aims to develop an integrative learning model of physical education and health of year-1 of elementary school students in Depok, Sleman District through semutan game. This research development consisted of two phases. They were the pre-development phase and the development phase. Pre-development phase consisted of a literature review, a review of relevant research and field study. The development phase consisted of drafting the model, expert validation, small-scale trials, and large-scale trials. The validation involved 5 experts using the Delphi technique. The small –scale trials were conducted in SD Deresan. Large-scale trials were conducted in SD Deresan and SD Catur Tunggal 7. The instruments used were a questionnaire, interview guideline, and guidelines for assessment observations. The data analyses in this study used descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. Limited scale test results is in very good category and large scale trials is in the excellent category. The developed integrative learning model of physical education and health is effective for improving affective (orderliness and confidence), skills (throwing), and knowledge (mastery of the game knowledge and accuracy of counting the ball ) for year-1 of elementary school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model permainan untuk meningkatkan perseptual motorik dan perilaku sosial siswa sekolah dasar kelas bawah yang sesuai, layak, dan efektif. Model permainan ini diharapkan mampu mengembangkan aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor, serta dapat dipergunakan oleh guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Ujicoba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 27 siswa SD N Ambarukmo. Ujicoba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 32 siswa SD N Ngringin dan 34 siswa SD N Puren. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah pedoman pengamatan (observasi), pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, skala nilai, lembar penilaian uji efektifitas dan penilaian hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian berupa model permainan, yang berisikan 6 model permainan, yaitu: (1) permainan karung berantai, (2) permainan egrang berantai, (3) permainan engklek berantai, (4) permainan balok berantai, (5) permainan kelereng berantai, (6) permainan ban berantai. Model permainan disusun dalam bentuk buku pedoman dan dituangkan dalam bentuk DVD. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian para ahli materi dan praktisi, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model permainan untuk meningkatkan perseptual motorik dan perilaku sosial siswa sekolah dasar kelas bawah yang didesain berkategori baik, sehingga model permainan telah sesuai, layak, dan efektif untuk digunakan. Developing Game Model to Improve Perceptual Motor and Social Behavior of Lower Levels Students AbstractThis study aims to produce a game model for increasing perceptual motor and social behavior under class elementary school students which is appropriate, suitable, and effective. The game model is expected to be able to develop effective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects, also can be used by teacher in learning process of physical education. Small-scale trial was conducted to 27 students in SD N Ambarukmo. A large trial was conducted to 32 students in SD N Ngringin and 34 students in SD N Puren. The instrument used to collect data were observation guide (observation), interviews guide, field notes, scale values, assessment sheets, an effectiveness test and assessment of the learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research is a game model, including six game models, namely: (1) chained coarse bag game, (2) chained egrang game, (3) chained engklek game, (4) chained block game, (5) chained marble game, (6) chained tube game. The game model is arranged in a guide book and DVD. Based on the evaluation of experts and practitioners, it can be concluded that the game model to increase perceptual motor and social behavior under class elementary school students is categorized good, so that the a game model that has been developed is suitable, effective, and appropriate for use.

Traditional children’s games at school have the potential to decrease the prevalence of obesity which tends to increase. Modifications and standardization of the game are needed so that the game can be implemented. The research objective is to develop a modified softball game model and test its effectiveness for improving nutritional status and physical fitness level of elementary school students. The development research design was used to produce the modified softball game model. Field trials of 27 elementary school fifth grade students were carried out with a one group before and after intervention design. The effectiveness of the model was assessed by changes in Z score of body mass index and physical fitness level before and after the intervention. The results of this research prove that the modified softball game model is valid and relevant to the physical education review. Application of the modified softball game model also proved effective in improving the nutritional status and physical fitness level of elementary school students. In the context of overcoming the problem of over nutrition in school-age children, it is recommended that schools and related stake holders implement the modified softball game model consistently.
