This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of leadership on motivation, (2) the influence of leadership on teacher commitment, (3) the effect of motivation on teacher commitment. Influence The study population was all public high school teachers in Banda Aceh City with a total sample of 252 people taken by proportional random sampling, and the data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix. The research findings show that the commitment of public high school teachers in Banda Aceh City is directly influenced by the principal's leadership and teacher work motivation. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded: (1) there is a direct influence of leadership on teacher commitment, (2) there is a direct influence of principal's leadership on teacher commitment, (3) there is a direct influence of work motivation on teacher commitment. Suggestions that can be concluded in this study are: (1) the provincial government of Aceh is authorized to produce policies in accordance with the findings in this study (2) for the head of the Aceh education office to improve the quality of policy professionalism directed at the quality of school principals and teacher commitment (3) for school principals to be able to take into account in forming teacher organizational commitment to their schools (4) for teachers to be able to make reference in carrying out their duties as teachers.

The objective of this research analysis leadership style, organizational culture, work motivation and competence, job satisfaction, and  organizational performance is to the perception senior high school teachers towards leadership style, organizational culture, work motivation, competence, job satisfaction and  organizational performance; identify the influence of leadership style, organizational culture, work motivation and competence partial towards job satisfaction and organizational performance; identify the influence of job satisfaction towards organizational performance. The respondents were 180 high school teachers from private schools in Jabodetabek (the Greater Jakarta Area), that were selected based on a multistage process, then analyzed with SEM, and using the Lisrel 8.5 program.  The research results show that leadership style, organization culture, and work motivation influenced job satisfaction, however competence did not.  Organization culture and competence affected the organizational performance, but leadership style and work motivation did not have influence on the organizational performance. The dominant path of effects showed that organizational culture affects job satisfaction and organizational performance.

<p>The purpose of the present research was to study the relationship of team learning and organizational culture with knowledge management in teachers of the second course of high schools in Saveh city in 2014. The method used in this research was practical in terms of objectives and correlational-descriptive in terms of data collection method. The statistical population consisted of 160 individuals including all the second grade high school teachers in Saveh city. In this regard, 113 individuals (65 males and 4 females) were considered as a sample size using the Cochran formula and the Stratified random sampling method. In order to collect the data, three standard questionnaires of team learning of Breso et al. (2008), knowledge management of Fong &amp; Choi (2009), and organizational culture of Denison (2000) were employed.  In order to assess the reliability of the questionnaires, the Cronbach’s alpha method was used and the related coefficients were 0.84, 0.82, and 0.94 respectively for each of the questionnaires. Moreover, in order to assess the validity, the content validity was used, and the questionnaires were confirmed by the relevant experts. The analysis of the obtained data was performed through SPSS software in the two sections of descriptive and inferential (Pearson correlation and multivariable regression). The research findings indicated that there is a significant relationship between team learning and organizational culture, and knowledge management.  The findings also demonstrated that the variables of team learning and organizational culture can predict the variable of knowledge management.</p>

This study determined the influence of the principal's leadership style and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers. Data in this study were collected through distributing the questionnaires to respondents. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. Population in this study was all high school teachers in Air Kumbang subdistrict of Banyuasin district totaling 85 people. The sampling technique used was saturation. The research sample was 85 high school teachers. The results showed 1) there was a positive and significant effect of leadership style on teachers’ performance; 2) there was a positive and significant influence of work motivation on teachers’ performance; 3) there was a significant influence simultaneously of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in Air Kumbang sub-district Banyuasin.

The research purpose was determined the effect of intellectual ability, discipline, supervision, and motivation on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in the Surakarta City. The research type is explanatory research. The research population are teachers of Vocational High School in Surakarta City. Sampling technique was used purposive sampling technique. Technique of data collection was used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were used statistical analysis including of multiple linear tests, F-test, and t-test. The research results showed that 1) intellectual ability, discipline, supervision, and work motivation are simultaneously have a significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 2) Intellectual abilities has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 3) Discipline has a significant effect on vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in the Surakarta city. 4) Work motivation has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 5) Supervision has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran faktor situasional, faktor psikologis, dan kinerja guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta; (2) menemukan pengaruh faktor situasional dan faktor psikologis terhadap kinerja guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta; (3) merumuskan hubungan kausal kepe-mimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, imbalan, kemampuan guru, komitmen guru, motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian korelasional dan bersifat ex-post facto. Sampel sejumlah 155 ditentukan dengan Formula Cohen dengan teknik proportionale random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan inventori, lembar pengamatan, dan self assessment. Validasi isi dilakukan dengan expert judgment. Validasi konstruk dilakukan dengan analisis faktor dan reliabilitas ditentukan dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi dan analisis jalur. Interpretasi hasil analisis data menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa ke-pemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, imbalan, kemampuan guru, komitmen guru, motivasi kerja guru, dan kinerja guru ter-masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kata kunci: kinerja guru, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, faktor psikologis, faktor situasional ______________________________________________________________DETERMINANT OF SMK TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE IN THE FIELD OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EXPERTISEAbstract This study was aimed at: (1) describing the situational factors, psychological factors, and vocational high school teachers’ performance; and (2) revealing determination of situational factors (principal’s leadership, school culture, and compensation), and psychological factors (teachers’ ability, teachers’ commitment, teacher’s work motivation) to vocational high school teachers’ performance, (3) revealing causal effect of principal’s leadership, school culture, compensation, teachers’ ability, teachers’ commitment, and teacher’s work motivation to vocational high school teachers’ performance. This ex-post facto research was done at mechanical engineering program in technological and industrial vocational high schools at Yogyakarta Special District. The population was 187 teachers and samples of 155 teachers were determined using the Cohen formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through inventory, observations, and self assessment. Analysis of content validity was conducted by expert judgment and construct validity was conducted using factors analysis. Reliability analysis was conducted using Cronbach Alpha formula. The data were analyzed using descriptive methods, correlations, regression, and path analysis. The result of descriptive analysis showed that principal’s leadership, school culture, compensation, teachers’ ability, teachers’ commitment, teachers’ work motivation, and vocational high school teachers’ performance was in high category.Keywords: teachers’ performance, vocational high school, psychological factors, situational factors

This study aims to analyze the teacherpraneur characters owned by vocational high school teachers in Indonesia. This research was conducted with a survey approach. The sample of 280 teachers selected by proportional random sampling. Data were collected by an open questionnaire and data were analyzed using quantitative techniques with the descriptive method. The results showed 37.5% of vocational high school automotive engineering teachers in Indonesia had a very good working attitude. 52.5% of teachers of vocational secondary schools in the field of automotive experts have a working attitude in the good category. 10% of vocational high school teachers in the field of automotive engineering have a fairly good working attitude, while in the poor and very bad category at 0%, and the result work motivation showed 15% of vocational high school teachers in automotive engineering expertise showed excellent work motivation. 22.5% of vocational high school teachers show good work motivation. 35% of vocational high school teachers showed good work motivation. 27.5% of teachers showed poor work motivation. while in the very poor category 0%.

This research aims to investigate the effect of organizational culture and job motivation as independent variables toward the teacher’s work productivity of state junior high school teachers as dependent variable, both individually and collectively.           Among 60 senior high school  teachers were surveyed and 52 respondent were selected as samples for the research. Normality, homogenity,linearity, multiple regression,and multiple correlation are several data analysis method that were used in this research using the SPPS 21.0 program for Windows.The result of this research imply that: Firstl,  a positive and significant effect was found Teacher’s Work Productivity by Organizational Culture and Job Motivation collectivelly and expressed in coefficient correlation  ry1.2 = 0,672 (a = 0,05) and regression equation as Y = 43,0378 + 0,603 X1  +  0,273 X2 and  determination coefficient is  r2y1.2 = 0,451.Secondly, a positive and significant corelation was found Organizational Culture toward Teacher’s Work Productivity  can be found and  expressed in hypothesis testing that the value of Sig = 0.000 and t = 5.767, while t table = 2.021. Because the value of Sig <0.05 and tcount > ttable, H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant effect of the independent variable X1 (organizational culture) on the dependent variable Y (Teacher’s Work Productivity). Thirdly, this research also found that there is a positive and significant corelation was found Job Motivation toward Teacher’s Work Productivity can be found and  expressed in  the hypothesis testing, it was obtained that the value of Sig = 0.000 and tcount = 3.881, while ttable = 2.021. The value of Sig <0.05 and tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant effect of the independent variable X2 (job motivation) toward the dependent variable Y (Teacher’s Work Productivity).           According to result of this research that improvement of Teacher’s Work Productivity  can be in creased by Organizationalal Culture and Job Motivation interest.
