In order to explore good teaching methods, the traditional teaching model and online teaching mode were compared and their own characteristics were analyzed. The results showed that two modes should be combined in order to better adapt to the current development of education rather than be not a single. Engineering drawing is a skill required of the basic course for engineering students. For many years, however, the blackboard, wall charts, models and other traditional teaching skills are very limited. With the rapid development of the electronics, information and communication technology, the online counseling system should be established without delay. Teachers and students, students and students can communicate well in the traditional teaching mode. Teachers can answer questions in time, however, the efficiency of class is low, and students cannot easily understand. Multimedia Network Teaching can improve teaching efficiency and enhance student interest in learning, which is important to the students’ spatial imagination. At the beginning, there are still something unsatisfactory.

Exploring the influencing factors of network-based autonomous learning is very important for colleges and universities in the world who have adopted this teaching mode in their education system. Many studies have discussed the teaching mode of autonomous learning, but failed to pay enough attention to the factors influencing students learning results. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the influencing factors and students’ learning results among different levels, and find better teaching method according to students’ learning condition. Mechanical Engineering students in Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology are employed as the data source. A number of data are collected and compared, and an analysis of various factors that influence the achievement of students’ network-based autonomous learning is performed. Data calculation shows that: students from different grades and levels differ in their learning motivations and beliefs; in learning strategies, they have no difference in cognitive stratagem, but in Meta-cognitive strategy and resource management strategies they are different. There are significant positive correlations between students’ intrinsic motivation and belief of resource management, students’ responsibility strategy use; extrinsic motivation and strategy use are a negative correlation, but not significant.

Under the background of the continuous impact of new media, with the deepening of art education reform, more creative teaching thinking and teaching methods are integrated into the art design education classroom in universities. In the continuous progress of art design major, how to change the traditional art education classroom and make the teaching more innovative has become one of the research contents that the teaching workers focus on. Therefore, in order to export interdisciplinary talents to the society, it is an inevitable trend for universities to act interdisciplinary teaching and learning mode in combination with the background of new engineering and the widely used STEAM concept. This paper analyzes the teaching mode of art design major in higher education, and then analyzes the current situation of engineering practice courses in universities. According to the characteristics of art students and engineering students, it explores the interdisciplinary teaching mode of introducing art design elements into engineering practice courses, which can provide the orderly development of art education with reference in universities.

The present study was carried out to study the emotional intelligence of Electrical Engineering students in Dire Dawa University Ethiopia. The sample for the study was 90 (30 Industrial control engineering streams, 30 Power system engineering streams, and 30 Communication engineering streams) randomly selected from Dire Dawa university, school of electrical and computer engineering. A sample scale was employed for the data collection and a t-test was employed for the analysis of data. The outcome of the study shows that Industrial control engineering and Power system engineering students do not differ significantly on various dimensions of Emotional intelligence and Industrial control engineering and Communication engineering students do not differ significantly on various dimensions of Emotional intelligence and Power system engineering and Communication engineering students differ significantly on various dimensions of Emotional intelligence.
