The purpose of this study was to obtain objective information and clarity regarding Elementary School Teacher Competitions through Low grade Portfolio Assessment. The results of this study indicated that the development of thematic learning models through the assessment of low-grade portfolio by Bengkayang District Elementary school teachers is in a "sufficient" position. The planning of learning model by elementary school teachers in urban areas had an actual score of 495 and an ideal maximum score of 840 or 58.92% with the category "sufficient." In the suburbs, it had an actual score of 334 and an ideal maximum score of 840 or 39.76% with the "enough" category. While in areas outside the urban area have an actual score of 335 and an ideal maximum score of 840 or 39.88% with the category also "sufficient." In each assessment effect, model planning effect in the Urban area obtained an actual total score of 96 ideal maximum score of 144, = 66.67%; At the Suburbs the actual score was 48 ideal scores 144 = 33.44%; while for the Outer Urban area obtained an actual score of 47 ideal scores 144 = 32.64%. The aspect of the preparatory stage for the implementation of the thematic learning model of low-grade portfolio assessment by elementary school teachers in the urban area obtained an actual score of 80 from an ideal maximum score of 120, reaching 66.67%; Suburbs obtained an actual score of 53 ideal scores 120 = 44.16%; Whereas in the out-of-urban effect urban area, the actual score was 52 ideal scores 120 = 43.33%. Implementation Stage Thematic learning model in the assessment of low-grade portfolio in the urban area obtained an actual score of 201 ideal maximum score of 360, = 55.83%; In the suburbs the actual score: 161 ideal scores 360 = 44.72%; while Out of urban the actual score is 162, the ideal score is 360 = 45.00%. The aspect of How to assess thematic learning models in the assessment of low-grade portfolio in the Urban area obtained the total score of 62 ideal maximum scores of 96, = 64.58%; Suburbs actual score 29 ideal score 96 = 30.21%; While out of urban the actual score of 31 was an ideal score of 96 = 32.29%. The aspect of the implication of thematic learning in the assessment of low-grade portfolio in the urban area obtained the number of actual scores of 57 ideal maximum scores of 120, = 47.50%; Suburbs actual score 43 ideal scores 120 = 35.83%; Out of urban the actual score of 43 was an ideal score of 120 = 35.83% of what it should be. For this reason, it was suggested thematic learning model planning for portfolio assessment should continued to be maintained by increasing the ability to compile annual programs, compile semester programs, compile syllabi, compile lesson plans, compile mapping and learning theme networks. The thematic learning model of portfolio assessment was not rigid but flexible, adapts existing situations, and conditions were active, creative, effective, and pleases learners referring to the concept of independent learning implementation of thematic learning of portfolio assessment by conducting initial activities, core activities, and closing / ending activities. Assessment of the thematic learning model portfolio assessment referred to indicators that have been determined by the education authority. Implications of implementing thematic learning model portfolio assessment was done by giving individual and group assignments by not burdening students, and utilizing and optimizing available learning media.

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials using the discovery learning model to improve thematic learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research aims to develop thematic teaching materials based on the discovery learning model for fourth grade students of elementary school and to describe the feasibility of thematic teaching materials products based on the discovery learning model. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluate) model. The results of research on thematic teaching materials based on discovery learning are from the results of assessments carried out by media experts, material experts and students' responses during field trials. The results of the validation show that the overall score is 3.7 so that it is included in the "very good" category and the overall eligibility percentage is 93% so that it is included in the "very appropriate" category. Based on the above explanation, it can be concluded that the thematic teaching materials are based on discovery learning are suitable for learning for fourth grade students of elementary school.

This study aims to describe the influence of exampel non_example and inside outside circle learning models in thematic learning assisted by audiovisual media of IVSD 2 grade students Temulus, 3 Temulus and 3 Kirig Mejobo Kudus on the sub-theme 1 ethnic diversity and religion in my country in Indonesian and Science. The research method used is experimentation. The design used in experimental research using the design "pre test and post test design". This study was divided into three groups: the first group learning with the Example Non Example model assisted by audiovisual media, the second group learning with the IOC model assisted by audiovisual media, and the third group learning with conventional models (control class). The subjects in this study were all class IV in Mejobo District. The research sample was taken from 3 classes selected purposively, namely SD 2 Temulus, SD 3 Temulus, and SD 3 Kirig. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant effect Example Non Example Learning Model in thematic learning assisted by audiovisual media in Class IV of Elementary School. The results of data analysis state thitung bigger than t table (5,982 bigger than 2,056), then Ha is accepted; (2) There is a significant effect of Inside Outside Circle Learning Model in thematic learning assisted by audiovisual media of Grade IV Elementary School Students. The results of data analysis state thitung bigger than t table (4,269 bigger than 2,074); (3) There is a difference between Example Non Example Learning Model and Inside Outside Circle Learning Model in audiovisual assisted thematic learning in Class IV Elementary School Students, but not significant. The results of data analysis state that t count bigger than t table (3,043 bigger than 2,048), then Ha is accepted. But the significant results obtained a number of 0.348 bigger than 0.025. 


This study aims to develop multi-media based products on thematic learning sub themes "cleanliness at home". This research was applied in class II of elementary school. Multimedia products produced are short animations with the theme of hand washing. This research method uses Research and Development (R & D) with the Borg and Goal model. Three stages of development research are: first, preliminary research into the two development models and third the model dissemination. The results of the preliminary study concluded that multi-media based applications are needed for thematic learning in elementary schools. The development of multi-media animation by giving a message of six steps of hand washing was developed through the stages of product development. The first stage of expert judgment is carried out by media, material and language experts. The second stage is one to one and small group. This study produced a valid multi-media assisted thematic learning model applied to elementary school students.

This study aims to provide an overview of infusion of environment dimension of ESD into thematic learning thought the RADEC learning model in elementary schools. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving four teachers and twenty students in elementary school Bogor City who were taken based on purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and primary school science curriculum documents, which were processed using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that in general, indicators derived from basic competencies can be oriented towards the goal of sustainable education in the dimensions of environmental preservation. Natural science learning which is packaged in thematic learning at the elementary school level can provide opportunities in the process of implementing sustainable development education holistically and comprehensively. The RADEC model can stimulate students to learn actively, not only mastering the concept of environmental conservation but also thinking skills and attitudes in preserving the environment. The RADEC model can be applied in synchronous and asynchronous online learning so it is suitable for use during the Covid-19 pandemic

This research aims to improve critical thinking skills on thematic learning of fourth-grade elementary school through discovery learning model. The design of the study was based on classroom action research by Kemmis & McTaggart with two cycles. This research procedure was done by implementing discovery learning model which was planned, action, observation, and reflection. The quantitative and qualitative data were compared to the data analysis technique. The sample of this research was eighteens fourth-grade public elementary school in Kutowinangun 11. The results showed that implementation discovery learning model in thematic learning could increase critical thinking skills’ student of the fourth-grade public elementary school in Kutowinangun 11with average of an increasing percentage of critical thinking skills was 16.04%, with the average score in cycle 1 was 68 and cycle 2 was 81. Increasing critical thinking skills occurs through discovery learning steps includes stimulation, problem statements, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization.

Discovery learning model is a learning model that develops the students’ activities in learning by discovering and investigating their own knowledge, so that it is consistent with student-centered integrated thematic learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the Discovery Learning model in integrated thematic learning for elementary school students. This research uses comparative research by comparing some CAR existing literature studies using successful and appropriate Discovery Learning model, so it can be used in elementary school. Based on the descripton and result of the studies, it can be seen that Discovery Learning model can affect integrated yhematic learning in elementary school.
