A robot based on STC12C5A60S2 single-chip-microcomputer is designed for improving the production efficiency and reducing repetitive work. The system could identify path by detecting metal using eddy current sensor. By ways of the single-chip-microcomputer controlling stepper motor, the robot can run according to the predetermined route, judge independently cargo range and deliver the goods to the designated location. The implementation methods of the important links, such as mechanical structure design, path recognition and steering engine driving and so on are introduced, the system of which make the information interaction with computer through ISP-module (In-system-programming).by testing the model, it shows that the system can meet the design goals of handling goods automatically, and it has higher application value of reducing the accident rate of worker in repeated works and improving labor productivity.

This chapter shares the planning, design, and implementation of a unique, intensive practicum based faculty-led study abroad program for preservice candidates in village and town schools in Belize, Central America. This study abroad experience included cultural explorations, school-based writing practicum experiences, and daily seminar sessions. In communities of writers, preservice candidates focused on learning from and with Belize learners and families as they developed as responsive teachers. The authors designed engagements to mentor preservice candidates in strengths based teaching, creating side-by-side writing communities, developing purposeful and intentional instructional language, and learning from students' families. Reflecting on two consecutive trips during the university's winter semester, the authors share insights on re-imagining educational and travel narratives. They also discuss ways they continue to learn from participants as they design future trips.

School nurses who work with adolescents are in an ideal position to promote smoking cessation. This opportunity is important because research suggests teens who smoke are likely to become habitual smokers. This study characterizes adolescents’ patterns and levels of smoking, describes adolescents’ perceptions toward smoking, and delineates quit strategies that may prove helpful for adolescents who attempt smoking cessation. Results suggest adolescent smokers have highly variable patterns and levels of smoking. They fail to consider their future health and continue to be unaware of the harmful effects of smoking and the addictive nature of tobacco. Among adolescent smokers, there are few gender differences in perception of smoking. Therefore, gender specific cessation programs may not be necessary. The most effective quit strategy was the acquisition of information on contents of cigarettes and the health effects of smoking. Armed with these strategies, school nurses can provide leadership in the design and implementation of school based smoking cessation programs.

To solve the writing and reading operation conflict to RAM in LED/LCD display control system, a new RAM operation conflict arbiter IC was proposed. Comparing the traditional dual ports RAM, the IC has the advantages of low-cost and high stability. By analyzing the working principle and structure design, the IC was designed in pure digital way with Verilog HDL, and passed the simulation verify. Finally the IC was realized by Alter FPGA chip and passed the actual test.

Adiraka Group is a small and medium enterprises (SMEs) located in Bogor that engaged in furniture business. Adiraka Group currently still uses manual systems on Financial Records, which can lead to errors by the finance department in recording process. Adiraka Group often faces problem’s such a difficult to obtain customer related data because are not recorded in detail. The purpose of this final paper is to design and implement accounting. Interviews, observation, documentation of internship programs, literature studies, and internet sources are methods used in the application making process. Design and Implementation of accounting applications using PHP Hypertext Preprocessor and MySQL through several stages consist of menu structure design, interface design, and application implementation. The designed data will be processed using PHP Hypertext Preprocessor into table, queries, and report. The owner and finance departments can make decisions faster and easier using this application.
