The background of this research is the limited of learning device as a means of supporting learning referring to 2013 curriculum. This research aims to develop syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (LIP) and Student Learning Worksheet (SLW) with experiential learning model on the subject of cubes and beams for 8th grade students of junior high school. The research used Research and Develomant (R&D) with the ADDIE procedure; analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Due to time constraints, this research is only done until the development stage. This research instrument used are sheet of learning device validation, questionnaire response of learnears, and evaluation of learning outcomes. Syllabus, LIP and SLW validated two times by three validators and revised according to the suggestion from the validator. The valid LIP was then limited tested with the subject of nine students of 8th grade in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis result of the validation data, it can be concluded that syllabus and LIP are considered very valid and SLW is valid with average rating for syllabus is 3.44, LIP is 3.34 and SLW is 3.13. In the second validation, it can be concluded that the syllabus, LIP and SLW are considered very valid with the average rating for the syllabus is 3.75, for the LIP is 3.65 and for SLW is 3.47. Based on the analysis results of the questionnaire response of learners to SLW in the limited trial is 95.5% with very practical category and the average of the result of student’s evaluation is 84.8. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion concluded that the syllabus, LIP, and SLW with experiential learning model on the subject of cubes and beams for 8th grade students of Junior High School have fulfilled the validity and practical requirements to used by 8th grade students of Junior High School.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penerapan model pembelajaran concept attainment sehingga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 2 SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran concept attainment dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Peningkatan aktivitas dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata observasi siswa siklus I, II, dan III secara berturut-turut yaitu 27,875 (cukup aktif); 36,75 (aktif); dan 43,75 (sangat aktif).Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, model pembelajaran concept attainment. AbstractThe aim of this research was to know how to implement concept attainment learning model in order to improve student’s activity of grade VII class at Junior High School Number 1 Pondok Kelapa. The type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with collecting data technique by using observation sheet of student’s activity. The Subject in this research was 28 students of class VII 2 Junior High School 1 Pondok Kelapa even semester of academic year 2017/2018. Amount of the subject in this research was 28 students. This research showed that the implementation of concept attainment learning model can improve student’s activity. The activity improvement can be seen from mean scores of student’s observation on first, second and third cycle respectively which were 27,875; 36,75; and 43,75 with their criteria that include quite active, active, and very active. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of self-regulated learning interventions to increase learning motivation and learning abilities in junior high school students who come from families with low socioeconomic levels. The intervention was given for five sessions through psychoeducation and assignments. The subject of this study is a male, 15 years old. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of the analysis of observations, interviews, and assignment documents show that there are differences before and after the subject was given intervention. In general, self-regulated learning intervention has a positive impact on learning motivation and learning abilities of the subject. Several factors that support and inhibit intervention were explained. Some suggestions are given to develop the further intervention.

This research aims to develop valid, practical, and effective science learning material using project learning model to facilitate creative thinking skills on object motion in junior high school. Design of the development are used follow 4D model desin. The learning kit being validated by experts are syllabus, lesson plan, student work sheet, handout, and creative thinking question. The objective of this research was to trial learning materials in 39 grade VIII students in SMPN 31 Surabaya with One Group Pretest Postes Design. The results were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result were obtained shows that the developed learning materials are: (1) Validity of learning material valid category (3,58); (2) Practicality based on: a) Feasibility of instruction good category (3,9); b) Readability of worksheets and student’s book students stating that the content and appearance of worksheets and student’s book good category; (3) Effectiveness based on: a) Student’s activities high category (93%); b) Result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain: 0,62), result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,674) in fluency thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with high category (N-Gain:0,726) in flexible thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,531) in original thinking aspect, and result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,530) in elaboration thinking aspect; c)The response of students very positively (92%). The conclusion of this research that science learning material developed base on project learning model valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s creative thinking in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaranIPA model proyek yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP materi gerak benda. Rancangan pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti rancanagn model 4D. Perangkat  pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi Silabus, RPP, Handout siswa, LKP, dan Soal berpikir kreatif. Sasaran penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang diujicobakan pada 39 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 31 Surabaya dengan rancangan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan: (1) Validitas perangkat kategori valid (3,58); (2) Kepraktisan perangkat yang meliputi: a) Keterlaksanaan baik (3,9); b)Keterbacaan Handout dan LKP baik; (3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: a) Aktivitas siswa dengan kategori tinggi (93%); b) Hasil berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,62), pada aspek berpikir lancar (fluent) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,674), berpikir luwes (flexible) mengalami peningkatan berkategori tinggi (N-Gain: 0.726), berpikir orisinal (original) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,531), dan berpikir terperinci (elaboration) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,530); c) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan model pembelajaran sangat positif (92%). Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model proyek valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.

This reseacrh aims to determine the effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model on the ability to think cretaively in mathematics in class VIII junior high school students in the estuary of students in the estuary of 2018/2019 academic year two-variable linearequation system (SPLDV). Jenis type of research used is true experimental design in the form of Pre-test and Post-test design. The population used was all students of class VIII of  Muara Beliti state junior high school, consistingof 295 students and as a sample was class VIII.6 with 30 students as dick classes and VIII.8 with 31 students as experimental classes. The data collection was carried out using a test technique in the form of four essay questions with a maximum score of 20. Based on the resultd of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students creative mathematical thinking ability were obtained  then  is rejected and is accepted, it means that the average score of students cerative thinking ability using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model is more than the average score of students creative thinking ability using conventional learning, namely in the experimental class at 12.97 and in the control class at 5.47.

This research aims to describe the students’ mathematical communication ability by using cooperative learning talking stick type. This research conducted at one of junior high school in Asahan-North Sumatera- North Sumatera. This research used posttest experimental class design as the method to obtain data. The indicators used to measure mathematical communication ability in this research arranged in three, as follows: 1) the ability of explaining a mathematical problem into figure; 2) the ability to explain mathematical problem situations by own words; 3) the ability of stating a mathematical problem in writing into mathematical models and doing calculation to solve the problem. The result found from this research is there are the differences in the students’ way of answering the problem even though the learning model and the instrument used is same.
