This study aims to determine whether or not there is a Contextual Learning Model (CTL) on the Communication Capabilities of Mathematics Students at 35 State Junior High Schools in Palembang. The population in this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 35 Palembang. Sampling in the study used Clauster Sampling and the selected class was Class VII.5, taken 30 people as the control class and Class VIII.3, up 30 people as the experimental class at SMP 35 Palembang. This research uses the True Experimental Desigh method in the form of Posttest Only Control Design. Data collection was carried out using the written test method in the form of an interesting essay on mathematical communication indicators, data analysis was performed with a statistical test t with a real level (∝) = 5%. Based on the results of the final analysis in this study, tcount = 2.729> ttable (0.05: 58) = 2.002 so that H0 is rejected, it can be concluded as a Contextual Teaching and Learning Model (CTL) Against the Mathematical Communication Capabilities of 35 State Junior High School Students in Palembang.

This study aims to determine the ability of students to solve mathematical problems in mathematics learning using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The data collection technique used the test technique which was analyzed using the t-test at the significant level α = 5%. From the results of the post-test students' problem solving abilities with indicators of understanding the problem by 93% were in the very good category, the indicators of making a completion plan were 73% in the good category, the indicators of implementing the plan were 65% in the good category and the indicators of checking the results were 25 % with less category. After participating in learning using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI) the average post-test score was 70.35 with 5 excellent students, 12 good students and 6 good enough students.

This study aims to determine the completeness of the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Saling in the 2020/2021 academic year after the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model is applied. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Saling in the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 54 students and as the research sample, namely class VIII.A one study group totaling 12 students. The data was collected by using test techniques, namely pre-test and post-test. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at the significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the t-test analysis with a significance level of α = 0.05, it was obtained tcount (5.9495)> ttable (2.201), so it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Saling after being applied with the Student Team learning model Achievement Division (STAD) is significantly complete.

PISA is one of the world-class studies that assess the mathematical, scientific and linguistic abilities of 15-year-old students. Indonesia ranked 63 out of 70 countries in 2015. The average score of Indonesian students 'math abilities is below the average score of their students' international math abilities. In fact, aspects of developing the mathematical abilities of Indonesian students in SMP/MTs have been arranged in the objectives of the subjects. The purpose of this study is to find out and identify the errors of students working on PISA mathematical problems using the context of the population. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The results showed that students misinterpreted and reasoned in solving PISA mathematical problems using the context of the population.
