scholarly journals AI Based Motor Vehicles Detection and Tracking System Using Smartphone Application

Information technology (IT) is one of the most emerging field that is a very important role in every field of today’s world. Nowadays it is involved almost in every field including medical science, engineering, transportation etc. IT based techniques have enhanced the capabilities of different applications like road optimization, detection, recognition, tracking etc. these techniques have made things smarter and more qualitative. Transportation is one of the most growing and important, that is play a significant role to grow the economy. Todays the most occurring problems or issues are steal of motor vehicles, vehicle smuggling and the use of unauthorized motor vehicles which have a direct effect of the of the growth of economy. Keeping these issues in mind the current developed system has been carried out to overcome these problems. The present system is divided in 3 categories, the desktop application to detect those unauthorized motor vehicles, a smart phone application to track down those motor vehicles using GPS technology and GPS module used to gives us the current position of the motor vehicle and update it on the cloud.

Motorcycle theft cases are increasing lately. However, the level of successful case disclosure by the police is classified as minimal. One of the reasons is the difficulty of the investigating team to locate the stolen vehicle. One solution that can be done is to install a tracker on a motorcycle. With the development of technology, we can use GPS devices as a tool to track vehicles from theft. The general objective of this research is to reduce the crime rate of motorcycle theft that currently occurs in Indonesia. The specific design objectives are: (1). Facilitate the security apparatus (2). Eliminate public anxiety about motorbike theft cases. For that we need a better security system as a safety for motor vehicles. This tool is equipped with features or services that support services on motorbikes, namely: SMS / SMS Gateway/ SIM800L Module, ATMega328 Microcontroller, GPS (Global Positioning System) Module, and other supporting devices. This tool is connected to an Android device with a GPS tracking system by showing the location of the missing motor vehicle. It is hoped that this security system design can increase the level of security and reduce cases of theft in motor vehicles. This system has also been tested on motorbikes with good results.

The article explores the congestion level in traffic of motor vehicles and its negative environmental and economic consequences in case of Kiev. The amount of pollution from traffic jams in Kiev and the number of vehicles which got into them in 2009-2018 is analyzed. The loss of earnings on the side of automobile owners from their standby are calculated with corresponding quantitative expressions found and described. For the course of the research, the methods of system-structural and comparative analysis were used for analyzing the environmental and economic problems of modern automobile systems; methods of formal logical analysis were used for substantiating the innovative infrastructure of transport routes. Separately economic and statistical methods were used in the study for trends development, structure analysis, and estimation of the influence of road congestion on the environmental and economic sphere. Pearson test has indicated a close relationship between the number of cars in Kiev and the number of values from traffic jams in environmental and economic sphere. Solutions to this problem are offered in forms of automated traffic control systems, improvisation of organizational and technical methods for the distribution of traffic flows over time, namely reverse traffic, road junctions, smart traffic lights, road extension, and the transition to alternative modes of transport. In all countries of the world there are new research methods that affect pollutants from motor vehicles. It is proved that they are forced by the recipients. In addition, landscaping can improve landscape design, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, surface water runoff and noise pollution. In this regard the policy implication of the research are aimed to eliminate the negative consequences from the use of vehicles during traffic jams, and the necessary number of trees for planting in Kiev is calculated. Key words: motor transport, congestion, traffic jam, motor vehicle, greening, compensation effect, lost profits, losses.

This paper presents a smartphone application game that aims to increase the awareness of preschoolers on renewable energy. The age of the selected preschoolers is in the range of 4-6 years. The game is called DAYSAM, and it aims to increase awareness regarding photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, mini-hydropower stations, energy efficiency, and risks that polar bears are facing. The game provides two superior features compared to other available games in Arabic language, targeting the same age group. Preschoolers from An-Najah Child Institute are selected to play this game to investigate the impact of this game. The preschoolers’ awareness is tested before and after playing the game using coloring sheets in an unsupervised coloring process. The results show that the proposed game has increased preschooler’s awareness of renewable energy. Before playing the game, none of the preschoolers recognized images like the photovoltaic array or the wind turbine. After playing the game the preschoolers recognized these devices in different situations and shapes. This indicates that such a game can be used as a fun and educational tool in nurseries that have Arabic communication medium to increase awareness of renewable energy.

Abstract Smart phone-based technology for people with Parkinson’s disease has been developed worldwide. Unmonitored non-motor symptoms decrease quality of life of people with Parkinson’s disease, so the needs for technology to manage non-motor symptoms are increasing. The technology is needed to detect subtle changes in non-motor symptoms by healthcare professional. There is no mobile app which manage comprehensive symptoms of Parkinson’s disease including non-motor symptoms. It is necessary to develop a new tracking system that can effectively manage non-motor symptoms as well as motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. We developed a prototype of mobile app for Android smartphones, with cooperation with Mazelone company. we also have shaped functions for monitoring of motor symptoms and medication adherence. It also provided a section for caregivers to use on behalf of people with Parkinson’s disease who have difficulty to use app due to hand tremor. Through Delphi technique, we obtained content validity from eight medical and nursing experts on the contents of the application. We provided regular telephone counseling to improve and encourage their app usage. Fifteen participants used the app for 6 weeks. To evaluate usability of mobile app, we provided constructed questionnaire and conducted individual telephone interview. A mobile app for tracking non-motor symptoms demonstrated high usability and satisfaction. We learned lessons about facilitators and barriers when implementing an app such as perception and acceptance of mobile technology. The mobile app will improve continuum of care. Future studies need to improve the contents and refine technical approach for people with Parkinson’s disease.

The high potential of wearable physiological sensors in regenerative medicine and continuous monitoring of human health is currently of great interest. In measuring in real-time and non-invasively highly heterogeneous constituents, have a great deal of work and therefore been pushed into creating several sports monitoring sensors. The advanced engineering research and technology lead to the design of a wearable energy-efficient fitness tracking (WE2FT) system for sports person health monitoring application. Instantaneous accelerations are measured against pulses, and specific walking motions can be tracked by this system using a deep learning-based integrated approach of an intelligent algorithm for gait phase detection for the proposed system (WE2FT). The algorithm’s effects are addressed, and the performance has been evaluated. In this study, the algorithm uses a smartphone application to track steps using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. For this initiative, the central node’s optimal location is measured with the antenna reflectance coefficient and CM3A path loss model (IEEE 802.15.6) among the sensor nodes for energy-efficient communication. The simulation experiment results in the highest performance in terms of energy efficiency and path loss.
