The reception of journalists at the Waspada Daily Medan always went through several rigorous selections before being determined to be accepted as journalists at the Waspada Medan Daily. There are several criteria that must be possessed by each participant as a condition for becoming a journalist in the Daily Alert Medan. To get the best participants, the Waspada Medan Daily needed a decision support system. Decision Support Systems (SPK) are part of computer-based information systems (including knowledge-based systems (knowledge management)) that are used to support decision making within an organization or company. Decision support systems provide a semitructured decision, where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made. In this study the authors applied the VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) as the method to be applied in the decision support system application. The VIKOR method is part of the Multi-Attibut Decision Making (MADM) Concept, which requires normalization in its calculations. Decision support system for selecting color guard with VIKOR and Borda methods. It has been made as a tool to select color guard at the Sei Rampah High School. The criteria used in the decision support system for color guard selection are: height, weight, agility, stamina, and body language. Color guard selection activities are a routine activity every year, so GINADA marching band coach Sei Rampah hereby selects to select permanent members in the marching band. Decision Support System in an organization can be seen as important in supporting the smooth running of activities and achieving an organizational goal. SPK can come in various forms, ranging from simple forms of data processing to complex application forms, and can also be used to accelerate and improve the quality of the decision-making process in the organization.

Aiming to augment the quality of decision making in vessel dismantling, this paper presents an innovative decision support system that takes into account the diversity of the associated constraints to aid stakeholders handle issues such as the appropriateness of a disposal methodology or the level of safety in a dismantling yard. Being seamlessly integrated with an advanced simulation environment, the system also facilitates the collaborative design of dismantling processes.

Efforts to meet the availability of vegetables in fulfilling vegetable intake, especially for people in Lutawar sub-district, Central Aceh district, community agriculture requires a technology development that supports the calculation of production at each harvest and can also determine the fulfillment of community food availability. In this case, the fulfillment of production targets for the availability of vegetables will be very effective if it is calculated using a decision support system application, using the Simple Additive weighting (SAW) method.The process of collecting and analyzing data is carried out systematically and logically using a survey, which is to collect as much data as possible about the vegetables found in Lut Tawar Subdistrict, which is a decision support for the quality of the research. Then analyze vegetables in meeting production targets and food availability. Application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method into a decision support system to create a decision support system for food availability that is assessed from its production, including 4 criteria used to make an assessment, C1: Productivity, C2: Harvest Area, C3: Area Planting, C4: Population, then decision making assigns weight to each criterion. Decision Support System (SPK) is a computer-based system that combines models and data in an effort to solve unstructured problems with user involvement through an easy-to-use user interface. This system is used to help decision making in semitructured situations and unstructured situations, where no one knows for sure how decisions should be made. Simple Additive Weighting method is one of the settlement methods for Multi attribute decision making (MADM) problems. This method evaluates several alternatives to a set of attributes or criteria, where each attribute does not depend on each other. Hope from the results of the study, the use of Simple Additive Weighting as a model of the Eligible Decision Support System for Rastra Assistance using the weighted product method in Karang Bangun Village, Siantar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency can help the village in calculating the feasibility of rice recipients and to determine the eligibility of recipients of rice faster and more accurate. because this application is easier than the old system and the data storage is more accurate.Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Simple Additive Weighting, Rastra, Poor

The concept of a computer-based decision-making support system (Computer Based Decision Support System) is currently developing very rapidly. Many methods are used to assist in the decision making process. Decision making is carried out with a systematic approach to the problem through the process of collecting data into information and coupled with factors that need to be considered in decision making. To make a decision support system for the selection of outstanding teachers in Akkes Sapta Bakti Bengkulu by computer. The research method that the author uses in making this application is from a manual or conventional system into a system development (electronic system) using the waterfall model. Waterfall system development method is a sequence of activities or activities carried out in system development starting from problem determination, actual system analysis, new system analysis, design, system implementation and testing. The software used in making this application is to use the Visua Basic 2010. application and is supported with a Microsoft Access 2007 database and Crystal Report as a report.
