The aphorism lentius, profundius, suavius of Alexander Langer overturns the most famous citius, altius, fortius. It is both a program and a vision to face the most urgent challenges of our time. Outdoor is the priority action context to design possible ways of reconciliation with the environment, the only way to rediscover the balanced integration with nature that Adriano Olivetti indicated as an antidote to the harmfulness of the urban environment. Nature plays a decisive role in our society. According to the German philosopher Gernot Böhme, this general reference to nature on the one hand is indicative of a desire to compensate for a lifestyle that is increasingly distant from its rhythms and its essence, on the other it represents a profound and radical removal. The pandemic has definitively undermined some of the dominant paradigms, leading to the establishment of a new phenomenology of nature based on perception. The health issue has quickly, and perhaps irreversibly, changed our lifestyles and our relationships with nature. In high-altitude contexts, the archetypes of architecture become the concepts through which architecture redefines its dialogue with the landscape by innovating its grammar and semantic relationships. A complex dialogue that triggers new genealogies and belonging in which design solutions become an opportunity for experimenting and innovating processes, forms and technologies. The following projects address these issues with respect to two founding themes of architecture: the refuge and the threshold.

Abstract Kant’s Dreams of a Spirit-Seer (1766) did not provide the sole perspective through which Emanuel Swedenborg’s work was known in Germany in the eighteenth century. Before Kant, another German philosopher was interested in Swedenborg from a completely different perspective: Christian Wolff. On the one hand, this paper analyzes the meaning of Wolff’s anonymous reviews of Swedenborg’s early writings published in Acta Eruditorum, the authorship of which was only recently discovered, in order to show Swedenborg’s intertwinement with German scholars during the 1720s. On the other, I juxtapose Kant’s and Wolff’s evaluations of Swedenborg’s work at the origins of their different attitudes towards fundamental problems such as the nature of the soul and immortality.

The authors believe that the decisive role in the chemotherapeutic effect belongs to the organotropy, and not the parasitotropy of the medicinal substance. However, it cannot be denied that the parasite's cell is able to capture the chemotherapeutic substance or its decay products. Therefore, the chemotherapeutic index is an expression, on the one hand, of the weakening of the parasite, and on the other hand, of the strengthening of the protective function of the organism.

Although the question of relationship between basic concepts of traditional ontology and central concepts of fundamental ontology is not a topic which is systematically dealt with in Being and Time, it is obvious that some of the theses which are crucial not only for Heidegger's interpretation of philosophical tradition, but also for the whole project of fundamental ontology, concern this 'conceptual scheme'. In fact, the backbone of Heidegger's critical confrontation with dominant philosophical conceptions is the question of relationship between the concept of 'substance' and the concept of 'Being', i.e. the discussion of philosophical doctrines in which 'Being' is reduced to 'substance'. Besides this context, which concerns the ontological problematics in the strict sense, it is possible to show that the refutation of the basic categories of traditional ontology is an issue which has a decisive role in more concrete phases of the realization of the project of fundamental ontology. This is especially confirmed in Heidegger's discussion of the concept of 'Being-There'. The interpretation of Heidegger's treatment of the relationship between the concepts of 'Being-there', 'existence' and 'existentials' on the one hand, and the concepts of 'substance', 'essence' and 'categories' on the other, shows that one of Heidegger's basic theses is that a transformation of concepts of traditional ontology is necessary for an appropriate understanding of human being.

There are two factors affecting the diet of urban Natives: on the one hand there is the expansive influence of assimilation to and adoption of European food habits, and on the other hand there is active a restrictive influence in the shape of poverty. The urban Native, through his close contact with European culture which residence in an urban environment inevitably entails, has been introduced to an extraordinarily wide range of new foodstuffs and new ways of preparing food. Consequently the range of his food desires has been much increased. But his desires are not allowed free play among this new and wide selection. The factor which narrows down his choice and curbs his desire is his poverty. The urban Native eats according to the capacity of his pocket and his food is usually the first item of expenditure which is marked out for especial economy.

An analysis is provided of the spatial-functional structure of the area of Główna, Zawady, Gdyńska and Bałtycka streets in Poznań. This region of the city is unique. On the one hand, it contains particularly valuable architectural forms, often of historical and cultural merit, and several interesting natural-landscape features passing into historical structural wedges of urban greenery. On the other hand, however, there are also storehouses as well as manufacturing and service shops there, often side by side with residential housing. The area displays a mix of functions and building forms, a deteriorating state of repair of the buildings, a vandalised urban environment, and advancing processes of ageing and depreciation. The paper is concluded with a presentation of the measures devised to transform the area that have been outlined in the Study of determinants and directions of the spatial development of the city of Poznań and the authors’ own observations.

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: This article seeks to utilize the German philosopher Martin Heidegger's notion of Gestell to establish an outline of the relation between religion and technique including media technique. According to Heidegger, tech-nique on the one hand serves as a means for Man. On the other hand technique al-so embeds Man in new relations as a standing reserve for something else. The arti-cle suggests that media technology has contributed to embed Man in religious and national distinctions. On this basis, the article presents an outline of different his-torical stages in which technology and especially media technology has had crucial consequences for embeding Man in religious and national distinctions.

This paper is devoted to research the “entrepreneurial city” in Russian economy. Firstly the authors analyze the development of the concept in foreign studies and compare the results with Russian authors researches. This concept is not so widespread both in scientific sphere and in municipal level in Russia. Then the authors propose two groups of parameters that give the opportunity to identify entrepreneurial city using Russian statistics. From the one hand there are quantitative parameters that include the degree of economic diversity and services; presence of human capital; the degree of the urban environment and living conditions. Each of criteria was evaluated on the several statistic indicators. From the other hand there are qualitative parameters that help to explain differences between similar cities. For example, the authors consider two close Ural cities, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg, and analyze its differences according quantitative and qualitative criteria of entrepreneurial city.

This work looks at the classical subject of 5th Century Historiography, the famous Bagaudae Conflict mentioned in Hydatius' Chronicle. Having briefly introduced the events and historiographical explanations, we will analyze the texts by looking at the features of intellectual production in the Late Antiquity. To be precise, we will study the meaning of the term bagaudae in work by other authors prior to Hydatius, in particular Orosius, and the parallelisms in the accounts of these authors. On the one hand we look to confirm the existence of a certain consolidated tradition amongst the intellectuals of the Antiquity in the meaning and usage of the term and on the other hand, hold that Hydatius did not refer to bagaudae as rebel peasants, as was hitherto maintained, but as a certain type of local troop known as rustici. This interpretation is in line with the decisive role that the rustici had in the evolution of Post-Roman Vasconia according to an in depth explanation being prepared for publication.

Wikipedia is the largest online Internet encyclopedia, and everyone can create and edit different articles. On the one hand, because it contains huge amounts of articles and there are many different language versions, it often faces synonymous and polysemy problems. On the other hand, since some of the similar Wikipedia articles may have the same topic of discussion, it needs a suitable way to identify effectively the semantic relationships between articles. This paper first uses three well-known semantic analysis models LSA, PLSA, and LDA as evaluation benchmarks. Then, it uses the entry relationship between Wikipedia articles to design its model. According to the experimental results and analysis, its model has high performance and low cost characteristics compared with other models. The advantages of its model are as follows: (1) it is a good model for finding the semantic relationships between Wikipedia articles; (2) it is suitable for dealing with huge amounts of documentation.

Two urban stress tolerant Tilia clones were selected by the Department of Floriculture and Dendrology. The mother trees of the Observed clones were found in an alley of linden trees, settled on a traffic island of a busy two-lane road. Tilia hybrid 'Saint Stephen' has a beautiful cone-shaped crown, the leaves are bright green and they keep their green colour for much longer time than the leaves on the other trees in the alley. In the nursery the Tilia hybrid 'Saint Stephen' was budded on T. cordata, T. platyphyllos and T. argentea and it had good compatibility with every rootstock. The average height of the one year old buddings was 200 cm and the buddings kept their good growing capacity in the following years as well. They had an outstanding growing capability comparing with the other Tilia cultivars. Tilia platyphyllos 'K3' clone has similar cone-shaped crown. The growing vigor and urban stress tolerance seems to be better than Tilia hybrid 'Saint Stephen'.
