The increase in traffic volume will cause a decrease in service due to decreased road capacity due to an increase in side constraints and due to the increase in traffic volume itself, which will ultimately cause the level of road saturation to increase. The situation occurred in the Umasukaer road section of the Malacca Regency. Therefore it is necessary to address improvements in the quality of the road in order to meet the feasibility of transportation facilities by taking into account the existing technical requirements. The results of planning found that through the 2015 LHR survey data with a prediction of an increase in traffic density of 6% per year, the LHR was obtained with a planned age of 7 years = 2540.7 vehicles/day/department and a 20-year plan life LHR = 5419.1 ked/day / major. The results of a gradual construction planning pavement study can be concluded that the planning model that has been designed is effective in strengthening road construction in accordance with existing technical requirements and efficient in terms of financing. The final results of gradual construction pavement thickness results are: Ashburton thickness (MS 744) = 8 cm, Ashburton (MS 744) = 13 cm, broken stone (CBR 100) = 20 cm, Sirtu (CBR 50) = 10 cm and CBR subgrade 5%. Pertambahan volume lalu lintas akan menyebabkan penurunan layanan diakibatkan menurunnya kapasitas jalan karena adanya peningkatan hambatan samping maupun karena beratambahnya volume lalu lintas itu sendiri yang pada akhirnya akan meyebabkan tingkat kejenuhan jalan meningkat. Keadaan tersebut terjadi ruas jalan Umasukaer Kabupaten Malaka, oleh karena itu perlu adanya penanganan perbaikan kualitas jalan agar memenuhi segi kelayakan sarana transportasi dengan memperhatikan syarat-syarat teknik yang ada. Hasil perencanaan didapatkan bahwa melalui data survey LHR tahun 2015 dengan prediksi peningkatan kepadatan lalu lintas sebesar 6% pertahun maka didapatkan LHR dengan umur rencana 7 tahun = 2540,7 kend/hr/jurusan dan LHR umur rencana 20 tahun = 5419,1 ked/hr/jurusan. Hasil studi perencanaan perkerasan konstruksi bertahap dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model perencaaan yang telah dirancang efektif dalam memperkerasa konstruksi jalan sesuai dengan syarat teknis yang ada serta efisien dalam hal pembiayaan. Hasil akhir tebal perkerasan konstruksi bertahap diperoleh hasil: Ketebalan Asbuton (MS 744) = 8 cm, Asbuton (MS 744) = 13 cm, batu pecah (CBR 100) = 20 cm, Sirtu (CBR 50) = 10 cm dan CBR tanah dasar 5%.

There was a build-up of lumps of sand on the road, precisely Tambelang-Durjan. This build-up of sand chunks occurs because many of the piled sand hauling trucks that pass on the road is obstructed because the road section has been damaged (potholes) and is unfit for passage, resulting in obstruction of traffic flow. In addition, the width of the section is not in accordance with the technical requirements of the 2011 Government Regulation. Therefore, it requires a flexible pavement re-planning and a Cost Budget Plan for land transportation lines, so that motorist access is comfortable. Planning flexible pavement using Laston with a planning age of 10 years obtained flexible pavement thickness, namely 4 cm thick AC-WC, 6 cm thick AC-BC, and 40 cm of Upper Foundation Layers (LPA) with the estimated size of the Budget Plan The cost of the flexible pavement construction of Tambelang- Durjan of Sampang Regency with a length of 1,145 km in the amount of Rp 5,744,585,463.00Terjadi penumbukan bongkahan pasir urug tepatnya di ruas jalan Tambelangan-Durjan. Penumpukan bongkahan pasir ini terjadi karena banyak truk pengangkut bongkahan pasir urug tersebut yang melintas pada jalan itu terhambat karena ruas jalan mengalami kerusakan (berlubang) dan tidak layak dilalui, sehingga  yang mengakibatkan terhambatnya arus lalu lintas. Selain itu lebar ruas tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan teknis Peraturan Pemerintah tahun 2011. Oleh karena itu, memerlukan perencanaan ulang perkerasan lentur dan Rencana Anggaran Biaya untuk jalur transportasi darat supaya akses pengendara nyaman. Perencanaan perkerasan lentur menggunakan Laston dengan umur rencana 10 tahun didapatkan tebal perkerasan lentur yaitu AC-WC setebal 4 cm, AC-BC setebal 6 cm dan Lapis Pondasi Atas (LPA) setebal 40 cm dengan besar perkiraan Rencana Anggaran Biaya pembangunan perkerasan lentur ruas Tambelangan-Durjan Kabupaten Sampang sepanjang 1,145 km sebesar Rp 5.744.585.463,00.

This research was conducted to determine the peak traffic volume, road capacity, degree of saturation, analyze traffic performance, find out the prediction of the next 5 years, and to evaluate the traffic performance around the Hypermart shopping center that occurs in the real situation. The method used is by library research, looking for references from previous research and direct observation. The peak traffic volume is 1469 SMP / hour for the first location and 1104.4 SMP / hour for the second location. The capacity of the road section is 4699.73 SMP / hour. For the analysis of the degree of saturation of the first location of 0.31 SMP / hour and 0.23 SMP / hour in the second location. For the next 5 years prediction in that region, it is predicted to increase by 8.93% so that the volume of vehicles will rise to 2124.76 SMP / hour, and for the degree of saturation of 0.45, which means that the traffic service in this region is included in class C in 2024.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui volume puncak lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan,derajat kejenuhan,  menganalisis kinerja lalu lintas, mengetahui prediksi 5 tahun ke depan serta untuk mengevaluasi kinerja lalu lintas di sekitar pusat perbelanjaan Hypermart yang terjadi disituasi rill. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan cara studi pustaka, mencari referensi dari penelitian terdahulu serta melakukan observasi langsung. Volume puncak lalu lintas didapatkan nilai 1469 smp/jam untuk lokasi pertama dan 1104.4 smp/jam untuk lokasi kedua.Kapasitas ruas jalan sebesar 4699.73 smp/jam.Untuk analisa derajat kejenuhan lokasi pertama sebesar 0.31 smp/jam dan 0.23 smp/jam pada lokasi kedua.Untuk prediksi 5 tahun kedepan pada wilayah tersebut diprediksi akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 8.93% sehingga volume kendaraan akan naik menjadi 2124.76 smp/jam, dan untuk nilai derajat kejenuhan sebesar 0.45 yang artinya pelayanan lalu lintas wilayah ini termasuk ke dalam kelas C pada tahun 2024.

Roads as a means of transportation have an essential role in supporting human activities. One of the developments in road construction is the application of geotextiles in road combination pavements. Geotextile itself is often found in construction planning, especially in soil stabilization. The plandaan – boro Tulungagung road section is indicated by the type of silt as deep as 1.2 meters so that improvements are needed to support the quality of road construction. The purpose of this research is to plan road pavement with geotextiles on the Plandaan to boro roads. The geotextile used is a woven geogrid geotextile. The method used in planning is the Bina marga method of the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual. The data used include technical data, traffic data, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR). The planning includes traffic design, pavement thickness calculations, and volume calculations. The planning results will be HMA – WC pavement covering an area of 4,200 m, with K225 concrete pavement covering an area of 8,400 m. Class Bﬞ Aggregate Pavement covering an area of 10,500 m using a geotextile layer requires 51,000 m² so that these results can be used as a reference in the repair or improvement of the Plandaan - boro Tulungagung road.

Nowadays, the development of road capacity and vehicle quantity and the lack of optimal traffic infrastructure operations are the main problems in the Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon road section. This road is the object of observation because the road is an integrated system of the Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon road network. It is necessary to analyze how the performance and the thickness of the flexible pavement layer needed. To analyze road performance and calculate pavement thickness, the writer uses the Bina Marga 2017 method with ACL material at STA 0.00 - 13,345. The results of the analysis and calculation for the geometric planning of the Nambak-Ngulungkulon  Craken-Ngulungkulon road section obtained the value of surface course with the 2017 Bina Marga method of 13 cm. Overlay work on the planning age is carried out in the 15 the year with an additional layer thickness with the Bina Marga 2017 method of 3 cm. And the traffic growth rate increased by 28.65% for 10 years y.a.d.Saat ini pengembangan kapasitas jalan dan kuantitas kendaraan dan kurangnya operasi infrastruktur lalu lintas yang optimal adalah masalah utama di ruas jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon. Jalan ini adalah objek pengamatan karena jalan tersebut merupakan sistem yang terintegrasi dari jaringan jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon. Perlu untuk menganalisis bagaimana kinerja dan ketebalan lapisan perkerasan lentur yang dibutuhkan. Untuk menganalisis kinerja jalan dan menghitung tebal perkerasan, penulis menggunakan metode Bina Marga 2017 dengan material ACL di STA 0,00 - 13,345. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan untuk perencanaan geometrik ruas jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon diperoleh nilai permukaan jalan dengan metode Bina Marga 2017 13 cm. Pekerjaan overlay pada usia perencanaan dilakukan pada tahun ke-15 dengan tambahan ketebalan lapisan dengan metode Bina Marga 2017 3 cm. Dan tingkat pertumbuhan lalu lintas meningkat sebesar 28,65% selama 10 tahun y.a.d.

Water functions are very diverse for humans for daily needs such as drinking water, bathing, agriculture, development, aesthetics, and lower temperatures. Palembang is a lowland area dominated by wetlands, tidal swamps, and rivers. The types of houses on stilts on the banks of the Musi river are limas, Gudang, and Chinese stilt houses which are always associated with the water environment. The construction of roads replacing the role of rivers has realized people that the water environment has an important meaning for the house on stilts. The research objective was to explore the meaning of the water environment from various aspects for residents, stilt houses, and their environment. This research method is a case study with data collection through interviews, observation, measurements, and taking photos. Data and findings were analyzed and juxtaposed with images in the field. The road construction has eliminated part of the function of the river and influenced the change in orientation of the house on stilts. In conclusion, respect for the water environment including rivers has decreased, causing the quality of the river to decline, and the house on stilts cannot take advantage of the existence of the water environment optimally

Progress of a country in line with the progress of traffic (transport). Fluency in traffic is determined by the smoothness of traffic on the road. Problems often arise on the highway is congestion at the intersection. Neither was signalized intersections and signalized intersections. Problems at the intersection is less accuracy green flame at the intersection with the number of vehicles in a segment. The inbound and outbound traffic flow characteristic of a campus is an important physical component of overall university setting. The traffic circulation generated may create indirect effects on the environment such as, disturbance to lecturetime when traffic congestion occurs during peak-hours, loss of natural environment and greenery, degradation of the visual environment by improper or illegal parking, air pollution from motorized vehicles either moving or in idle mode due to traffic congestion, noise pollution, energy consumption, land use arrangement and health effects on the community of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang. A traffic volume and Level of Service (LOS) study is required to facilitate better accessibility and improves the road capacity within the campus area. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the traffic volume and Level of Service of the main access the UPM Serdang campus. A traffic survey was conducted over three (3) weekdays during an active semester to understand the traffic flow pattern. The findings on traffic flow during peak hours are highlighted. The conclusions of on-campus traffic flow patterns are also drawn.

Computerized traffic modeling makes it possible to find out the modification needs to assess the traffic flow on the roads and detect likely problem areas in order to take timely measures to eliminate them. Competent preparation of a road network formation plan based on the acquired information makes it possible to reduce the load on the road transport line, avoid traffic jams, and also reduce the average time spent by drivers on the roads. The macroscopic and microscopic models of the cars flow were analyzed by authors to implement the computer model. The article considered the model of the cellular automata by Nagel–Schreckenberg, with the author’s addition that takes into account the presence of the road sections inaccessible for driving in. The need to modify the lane change algorithm was implemented: the condition of the need to change the lane when car is meeting an inaccessible road section was added. And also the “polite” drivers algorithm for bypassing inaccessible areas with a high density of the traffic flows was proposed. Such a model is realized on Python programming language. An analysis of vehicles behavior with different traffic density and location of inaccessible road sections for two- and three-lane roads was carried out based on that model modification.

In Indonesia, the road construction has experienced a fairly good development. From a wide range of road constructions, flexible pavement is the most chosen one because its characteristics: easy, fast, and efficient. However, flexible pavement has many weaknesses, for example the premature damage on the road surface after some time passed by the traffic so that the road cannot reach the planned age. For that, it is done a research to add a hot asphalt mixture material that aims to improve the quality of the mixture results. The selected ingredient is natural water hyacinth. The method used is trial and error with reference of SNI 03-1737-1989. Variations used are 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of the asphalt weight, asphalt level used is 5.72 %. Of the 5 variations of mixture used on Type XI Asphalt Concrete Layer, it is obtained the result that the water hyacinth fiber level which has the best score and meet the specifications of SNI 03-1737-1989 is on the percentage of 6% which obtained from calculation data using graphs and regression model where Marshall Stability is equal to 644,46 Kg, flow 3,39 mm, VMA (voids in the mineral aggregate) is equal to 13,83 %, VFWA (voids filled with asphalt) is equal to 65,35%, VIM (voids in the mix) is equal to 2,52 %, density of 2.31 gr/cc, and Marshall Quotient of 164.03 Kg / mm.
