Klasifikasi Gerakan Jatuh Berbasis Accelerometer dan Gyroscope Menggunakan K-Nearest Neighbors

Permasalahan utama pada penelitian ini merujuk kepada semakin menurunnya daya tahan tubuh lanjut usia (lansia). Hal ini membutuhkan sistem monitoring aktivitas lansia secara real time. Untuk mendeteksi kegiatan para lansia, dirancang sebuah perangkat monitoring dengan accelerometer 3-sumbu dan gyroscope 3-sumbu. Data sensor diperoleh dari lima partisipan. Setiap partisipan melakukan lima gerakan yaitu terjatuh, duduk, tidur, rukuk dan sujud. Gerakan yang dipilih adalah gerakan yang menyerupai gerakan jatuh. Total data yang diperoleh dari partisipan adalah 75 data yang terbagi menjadi training data dan testing data. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode transformasi Wavelet untuk mengenali fitur dari gerakan. Untuk pengklasifikasian setiap gerakan, digunakan metode K-nearest neighbors (KNN). Hasil klasifikasi gerakan menggunakan lima kelas menghasilkan nilai root mean square sebesar 0.0074 dengan akurasi 100%.

INTISARIPenelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengetahui uji kelayakan prediksi kelulusan mahasiswa Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta. Dalam hal ini penulis memilih algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) karena K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) merupakan algoritma  yang bisa digunakan untuk mengolah data yang bersifat numerik dan tidak membutuhkan skema estimasi parameter perulangan yang rumit, ini berarti bisa diaplikasikan untuk dataset berukuran besar.Input dari sistem ini adalah Data sampel berupa data mahasiswa tahun 2014-2015. pengujian pada penelitian ini menggunakn dua pengujian yaitu data testing dan data training. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah , IP Semester 1-4, capaian SKS, Status Kelulusan. Output dari sistem ini berupa hasil prediksi kelulusan mahasiswa yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu tepat waktu dan kelulusan tidak tepat waktu.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan penerapan k=14 dan k-fold=5 menghasilkan performa yang terbaik dalam memprediksi kelulusan mahasiswa dengan metode K-Nearest Neighbor menggunakan indeks prestasi 4 semester dengan nilai akurasi= 98,46%, precision= 99.53% dan recall =97.64%.Kata kunci: Algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors, Prediksi Kelulusan, Data Testing, Data Training ABSTRACTThis research is focused on knowing the feasibility test of students' graduation prediction of AMIKOM University Yogyakarta. In this case the authors chose the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithm because K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) is an algorithm that can be used to process data that is numerical and does not require complicated repetitive parameter estimation scheme, this means it can be applied for large datasets.The input of this system is the sample data in the form of student data from 2014-2015. test in this research use two test that is data testing and training data. The criteria used in this study are, IP Semester 1-4, achievement of SKS, Graduation Status. The output of this system in the form of predicted results of student graduation which is divided into two that is timely and graduation is not timely.The result of the test shows that based on the application of k = 14 and k-fold = 5, the best performance in predicting the students' graduation using K-Nearest Neighbor method uses 4 semester achievement index with accuracy value = 98,46%, precision = 99.53% and recall = 97.64%.Keywords: K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm, Graduation Prediction, Testing Data, Training Data

Background: The forecasting of Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) dynamics is a centrepiece in evidence-based disease management. Numerous approaches that use mathematical modelling have been used to predict the outcome of the pandemic, including data-driven models, empirical and hybrid models. This study was aimed at prediction of COVID-19 evolution in India using a model based on autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA). Material and Methods: Real-time Indian data of cumulative cases and deaths of COVID-19 was retrieved from the Johns Hopkins dashboard. The dataset from 11 March 2020 to 25 June 2020 (n = 107 time points) was used to fit the autoregressive integrated moving average model. The model with minimum Akaike Information Criteria was used for forecasting. The predicted root mean square error (PredRMSE) and base root mean square error (BaseRMSE) were used to validate the model. Results: The ARIMA (1,3,2) and ARIMA (3,3,1) model fit best for cumulative cases and deaths, respectively, with minimum Akaike Information Criteria. The prediction of cumulative cases and deaths for next 10 days from 26 June 2020 to 5 July 2020 showed a trend toward continuous increment. The PredRMSE and BaseRMSE of ARIMA (1,3,2) model were 21,137 and 166,330, respectively. Similarly, PredRMSE and BaseRMSE of ARIMA (3,3,1) model were 668.7 and 5,431, respectively. Conclusion: It is proposed that data on COVID-19 be collected continuously, and that forecasting continue in real time. The COVID-19 forecast assist government in resource optimisation and evidence-based decision making for a subsequent state of affairs.

Lipstick is a lip color which available in many colors. A research said instant valuation of woman personality can be figured by their lipstick color choice. Therefore there is a necessity to use the right lipstick color to obtain a harmony between personality and appearance. This experiment was conducted to give lipstick color recommendation by using K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test instrument. The system was built on Android application. Euclidean distance value is affected by 5 factors which are age, introvert, sensing, thinking, and judging. Lipstick color recommendation is obtained by fetching 7 training data with nearest Euclidean distance when compared to personality test result. The colors used in this experiment are nude, pink, red, orange, and purple. After evaluation, it is obtained the application’s accuracy of 87.38% which considered as good classification, both precision and recall with 75.68% which considered as fair classification. The score for software quality is 79.13% which considered as good quality. Keywords—K-Nearest Neighbors, Data Mining, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator,Recommender System, Lipstick.

A total of 4991 ionograms recorded from April 1997 to December 2017 by the Millstone Hill Digisonde (42.6°N, 288.5°E) were considered, with simultaneous Ne(h)[ISR] profiles recorded by the co-located Incoherent Scatter Radar (ISR). The entire ionogram dataset was scaled with both the Autoscala and ARTIST programs. The reliability of the hmF2 values obtained by ARTIST and Autoscala was assessed using the corresponding ISR values as a reference. Average errors Δ and the root mean square errors RMSE were computed for the whole dataset. Data analysis shows that both the Autoscala and ARTIST systems tend to underestimate hmF2 values with |Δ| in all cases less than 10 km. For high magnetic activity ARTIST offers better accuracy than Autoscala, as evidenced by RMSE[ARTIST] < RMSE[Autoscala], under both daytime and nighttime conditions, and considering all hours of the day. Conversely, under low and medium magnetic activity Autoscala tends to estimate hmF2 more accurately than the ARTIST system for both daytime and nighttime conditions, when RMSE[Autoscala] < RMSE[ARTIST]. However, RMSE[Autoscala] slightly exceeds RMSE[ARTIST] for the day as a whole. RMSE values are generally substantial (RMSE > 16 km in all cases), which places a limit on the results obtainable with real-time models that ingest ionosonde data.

Gait analysis based on inertial sensors has become an effective method of quantifying movement mechanics, such as joint kinematics and kinetics. Machine learning techniques are used to reliably predict joint mechanics directly from streams of IMU signals for various activities. These data-driven models require comprehensive and representative training datasets to be generalizable across the movement variability seen in the population at large. Bottlenecks in model development frequently occur due to the lack of sufficient training data and the significant time and resources necessary to acquire these datasets. Reliable methods to generate synthetic biomechanical training data could streamline model development and potentially improve model performance. In this study, we developed a methodology to generate synthetic kinematics and the associated predicted IMU signals using open source musculoskeletal modeling software. These synthetic data were used to train neural networks to predict three degree-of-freedom joint rotations at the hip and knee during gait either in lieu of or along with previously measured experimental gait data. The accuracy of the models’ kinematic predictions was assessed using experimentally measured IMU signals and gait kinematics. Models trained using the synthetic data out-performed models using only the experimental data in five of the six rotational degrees of freedom at the hip and knee. On average, root mean square errors in joint angle predictions were improved by 38% at the hip (synthetic data RMSE: 2.3°, measured data RMSE: 4.5°) and 11% at the knee (synthetic data RMSE: 2.9°, measured data RMSE: 3.3°), when models trained solely on synthetic data were compared to measured data. When models were trained on both measured and synthetic data, root mean square errors were reduced by 54% at the hip (measured + synthetic data RMSE: 1.9°) and 45% at the knee (measured + synthetic data RMSE: 1.7°), compared to measured data alone. These findings enable future model development for different activities of clinical significance without the burden of generating large quantities of gait lab data for model training, streamlining model development, and ultimately improving model performance.

Sistem kendali robot saat ini telah banyak dibuat dengan menggunakan berbagai metode seperti sensor accelerometer, sensor suara, leap motion. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan pengenalan bentuk tangan secara real time menggunakan leap motion dan K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) sebagai sistem kendali robot beroda. Leap motion digunakan untuk mendeteksi titik koordinat posisi tangan pada pandangan leap motion. pembentukan fitur dilakukan dengan mengukur jarak euclidean distance antara palm position dengan finger tip. KNN digunakan untuk menentukan kelas pada data testing. Uji coba dilakukan menggunakan tangan penulis dengan 5 jenis instruksi yaitu maju, mundur, stop, belok kanan, belok kiri dan setiap instruksi di ujicoba sebanyak 20 kali percobaan. Dari hasil ujicoba yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang diusulkan memiliki tingkat akurasi pengenalan 94%.

Determination of methods or contraception tool used by acceptors to support the Family Planning (“Keluarga Berencana”) is a problematic. In choosing methods or contraception tool, the acceptor must consider several factors, namely health factor, partner factor, and contraceptive method. Each method or contraception tool which is used has its advantages or disadvantages. Although it has been considering the advantages and disadvantages, it is still difficult to control fertility safely and effectively. Consequently acceptor change the method or a contraception tool that is used more than once. In order acceptors get the appropriate contraception tool then the patterns of changing in the usage of effective methods or contraception tool is determined. One of the methods that can be used to look for the patterns of changing in the usage of contraception tool is data mining. Data mining is an interesting pattern extraction of large amounts of data. A pattern is said to be interesting if the pattern is not trivial, implicit, previously unknown, and useful. The patterns presented should be easy to understand, can be applied to data that will be predicted with a certain degree, useful, and new. The early stage before applying data mining is using k nearest neighbors algorithm to determine the factors shortest distance selecting the contraception tool. The next step is applying data mining to usage changing data of method or contraception tool of family planning acceptors which is expected to dig up information related to acceptor behavior pattern in using the method or contraception tool. Furthermore, from the formed pattern, it can be used in decision making regarding the usage of effective contraception tool. The results obtained from this research is the k nearest neighbors by using the Euclidean distance can be used to determine the similarity of attributes owned by the acceptors of Family Planning to the training data is already available. Based on available training data, it can be determined the usage pattern of contraceptiion tool with the concept of data mining, where the acceptors of Family Planning are given a recommendation if the pattern is on the training data pattern. Conversely, if the pattern is none match, then the system does not provide recommendations of contraception tool which should be used.

In many applications of airborne visual techniques for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), lightweight sensors and efficient visual positioning and tracking algorithms are essential in a GNSS-denied environment. Meanwhile, many tasks require the ability of recognition, localization, avoiding, or flying pass through these dynamic obstacles. In this paper, for a small UAV equipped with a lightweight monocular sensor, a single-frame parallel-features positioning method (SPPM) is proposed and verified for a real-time dynamic target tracking and ingressing problem. The solution is featured with systematic modeling of the geometric characteristics of moving targets, and the introduction of numeric iteration algorithms to estimate the geometric center of moving targets. The geometric constraint relationships of the target feature points are modeled as non-linear equations for scale estimation. Experiments show that the root mean square error percentage of static target tracking is less than 1.03% and the root mean square error of dynamic target tracking is less than 7.92 cm. Comprehensive indoor flight experiments are conducted to show the real-time convergence of the algorithm, the effectiveness of the solution in locating and tracking a moving target, and the excellent robustness to measurement noises.

In recent years, wearable monitoring devices have been very popular in the health care field and are being used to avoid sport injuries during exercise. They are usually worn on the wrist, the same as sport watches, or on the chest, like an electrocardiogram patch. Common functions of these wearable devices are that they use real time to display the state of health of the body, and they are all small sized. The electromyogram (EMG) signal is usually used to show muscle activity. Thus, the EMG signal could be used to determine the muscle-fatigue conditions. In this study, the goal is to develop an EMG patch which could be worn on the lower leg, the gastrocnemius muscle, to detect real-time muscle fatigue while exercising. A micro controller unit (MCU) in the EMG patch is part of an ARM Cortex-M4 processor, which is used to measure the median frequency (MF) of an EMG signal in real time. When the muscle starts showing tiredness, the median frequency will shift to a low frequency. In order to delete the noise of the isotonic EMG signal, the EMG patch has to run the empirical mode decomposition algorithm. A two-electrode circuit was designed to measure the EMG signal. The maximum power consumption of the EMG patch was about 39.5 mAh. In order to verify that the real-time MF values measured by the EMG patch were close to the off-line MF values measured by the computer system, we used the root-mean-square value to estimate the difference in the real-time MF values and the off-line MF values. There were 20 participants that rode an exercise bicycle at different speeds. Their EMG signals were recorded with an EMG patch and a physiological measurement system at the same time. Every participant rode the exercise bicycle twice. The averaged root-mean-square values were 2.86 ± 0.86 Hz and 2.56 ± 0.47 Hz for the first and second time, respectively. Moreover, we also developed an application program implemented on a smart phone to display the participants’ muscle-fatigue conditions and information while exercising. Therefore, the EMG patch designed in this study could monitor the muscle-fatigue conditions to avoid sport injuries while exercising.
