AbstractThe behavioral pattern of children with special needs depends on their emotional and developmental disability. Any abnormal and incorrect pattern of behavior which is below the level of development as the expected norm can be considered as “the challenging behavior.” For supporting children with behavioral problems, many interventions and strategies alone, or in combination, are used. Behavioral and developmental problems, if not treated well, in childhood, may cause a problem and have negative long-term and short-term effects on a child’s personal life, education, family, and professional life. Detailed knowledge about the child’s behavior is important to define the problem. Hence, the software contains the questionnaire pattern, which is divided into categories like parents, teachers, doctors, and friends. Child behavior checklist is used to define the questionnaire. Images and video analysis are used to detect the current emotion in the child. By analyzing the behavioral pattern and current emotion, the teaching method will be suggested.

A normal child who is not lacking in anything physical or psychological is the dream of all parents. A hope regarding this matter is something that is natural for anyone. It's just that, in reality these hopes cannot be realized for some people. One of them is the presence of children with special needs in their lives. Even though every child has their own uniqueness and potential. One of the children with special needs is an autistic child. Autism is a very complex developmental disorder in a long life that includes disruption in aspects of social interaction, communication and behavior as well as emotional disturbances and sensory perceptions even in motoric aspects. Very severe disorders of some disorders experienced by children with autism that is a disorder in the ability to communicate. The ability to communicate nonverbally for children in general can be obtained naturally, without the need to be specifically and continuously taught for a long and long time. But the situation will be very different from autistic children. Autistic children need a design and learning strategy and approach to improve their nonverbal communication skills appropriately. Along with this, the development of Technology, Information and Communication (ICT) is inevitable. Most people think that the introduction and development of ICT knowledge is only for normal children. Through community service, the PKM team wants to share related developments in Technology, Information and Communication to children with special needs by using assistive devices and games specifically for children with special needs, especially children with autism. The implementation was carried out at SLB C Budi Daya, Cijantung, East Jakarta on 14 and 17 September 2018 ago.

Home is a significant environment for any child with or without special needs and one of the important environments where occupational therapy is aimed to bring improvement if necessary in terms of quality of life. The current descriptive qualitative study was designed to find out parental perceptions about occupational therapies provided in their own environments with their children with special needs. The participants of the study were five parents whose children with different special needs were getting private in-house occupational therapy services provided by the researcher at the moment of the study. The data for this study was collected through semi-structured interviews. Interviews were designed to understand how parents perceive in-house Occupational Therapy Services.    The findings of the study suggest significant improvements in the quality of life of their children with special needs, thus no one could specifically differ occupational therapy interventions in-home and in other professional settings. It is obvious because of the lack of settings in Armenia with Occupational Therapies and lack of information about the profession in general. Future research is recommended to be conducted between two different groups with Occupational Therapies in-home and other settings, with a larger group and more specific issues. Findings revealed that in-home services are convenient in many different aspects for parents of children with special needs and it should be considered for future practices.
