21st-century skills that children must have, namely the ability to collaborate, create, communicate and think critically. This study aims to improve critical thinking skills in children to adapt to their time. This research was conducted in group B of the Kindergarten in Madinah Pamulang, South Tangerang with a total of 20 children. The research method uses classroom action research with 2 cycles. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, documentation and the data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the children's critical thinking skills increased by 18.4% in cycle I and cycle 2 by 45% after research and corrective action were carried out. The results of the action in the second cycle of 45% prove that the children's critical thinking skills have increased significantly. Improvement occurs through simple experimental activities with the stages of problem finding, exploration, creation, and reflection. The conclusion of this study is that critical thinking skills in early childhood can be improved through inquiry learning.

The results of the observation showed that there were still many students in histology subjects who did not yet have critical thinking competencies and maximum histology concept. The purpose of this study was to find out how project-based learning through blended learning can develop critical thinking skills and student histology concept. This type of research is classroom action research. The sample of this study was students of class C histology class 2018/2019 as many as 35 students of Malang Muhammadiyah University. The research method is in the form of observation, interviews, and tests. The learning management system used in this research blended learning uses Edmodo. The results showed that there was a change in the improvement of critical thinking skills and student histology concept from cycle I to cycle II. Critical thinking skills in the cycle I showed that 23% were complete and 77% were non-complete, while the cycle II was 80% complete and 20% non-compete. Critical thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II increased by 57%. Histology concept in the cycle I found 69% complete and 31% non-complete, while the cycle II was 100% complete and 0% non-complete. Histology concept from cycle I to cycle II increased by 31%. Based on this, project-based learning through blended learning can develop critical thinking skills and student histology concept.

The research included Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the aim of knowing the improvement of critical thinking skills through the inquiry learning model. Classroom Action Research was carried out at the eleventh MIA 5 grade of sixteen state senior high school of Makassar. The research consisted of two cycles. The first cycle consists of two actions and the second cycle also consists of two actions. The procedure carried out in each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. For getting the data used the observation sheet and the results of test scores in each cycle. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed that it increased through the use of the inquiry learning model. The students critical thinking skills in the first cycle increased even though the increase was not too significant than before the implementation of the inquiry learning model. In cycle one , the students were divided into 5 groups and learning using the free inquiry model then proceed to cycle two critical thinking skills increased from cycle one. In cycle two the number of groups was enlarged into 8 groups and in the learning process students were guided to find so Critical thinking of trained students and can be improved.Keywords: Critical Thinking, Inquiry Learning, StudentsPenelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui model pembelajaran inquiry. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 16 Makassar kelas XI MIA 5. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Siklus pertama terdiri dari dua tindakan dan siklus kedua juga terdiri dari dua tindakan. Prosedur yang dilaksanakan pada setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Untuk mendapatkan data digunakan lembar observasi dan hasil nilai tes pada setiap siklus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meningkat melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran inquiry. Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada siklus I meningkat meskipun peningkatannya tidak terlalu signifikan dari sebelum diterapkannya model pembelajaran inquiry. Pada Siklus I peserta didik peserta didik dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok dan pembelajaran menggunakan model inquiry bebas kemudian dilanjutkan ke siklus II keterampilan berpikir kritis meningkat dari siklus I. Pada siklus II jumlah kelompok diperbesar menjadi 8 kelompok dan pada proses pembelajaran peserta didik dibimbing untuk menemukan sehingga keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik terlatih dan dapat meningkat.Kata kunci: Berpikir Kritis, Pembelajaran Inkuiry, Peserta Didik

The 21st century learning trends carry several skills that need to be developed, one of which is critical thinking. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the Book Talk method in order to foster critical thinking skills and communicate verbally expressive students aged 3-4 years using Indonesian-themed animal books. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in the Nursery class of Rainbow Victory Plus Bekasi school with the number of research subjects as many as 14 students. Data collection was carried out in 3 cycles held in May 2018. The results of this study showed tha Book Talk method was able to increase critical thinking skills and verbal expressive communication of students. However, it was also found that Book Talk was not suitable for certain types of students. Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir kritis dan melakukan komunikasi efektif sebagai syarat keberhasilan. Kemampuan ini perlu dilatih dan diajarkan sejak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penggunaan metode Book Talk dalam rangka menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi ekspresif verbal siswa usia 3-4 tahun dengan menggunakan buku cerita berbahasa Indonesia bertema hewan. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan di kelas Nursery Rainbow sekolah Victory Plus Bekasi dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 14 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dalam 3 siklus yang dilakukan pada Mei 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode Book Talk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi ekspresif verbal siswa. Practicum activity is a scientific process to find out a phenomenon or validate a concept. HOT-LAB in laboratory activities is useful in improving 4C skills, including Critical Thinking Skills. The number of Modules or E-Modules that use a cookbook of guided laboratory inquiries was less to increase the 4C Skills in supporting the 21st Century skills. This study aimed to design, create and find out the effect of using HOT-LAB-based E-Modules to improve the students’ Critical Thinking Skills. The research method was the ADDIE RnD. Invalidation stage, E-Module that was validated by material and media validators, stated effective, so it was feasible to continue to data collection of students. Data of Critical Thinking Skills used 30 students as subjects whose raw data was analyzed using statistical tests. E-Module obtained a validity score of 83.33% on the material validation and 84.6% on the media validation. Moreover, the statistical test showed that there is a significant change in implementing E-Module, which means that the HOT-LAB-based E-Module improved the students' Critical Thinking Skills.

The purpose of this study is to improve students' critical thinking skills using the Problem Based Learning model aided by flash card media. The research method used is a class action research method. The subjects of the study were the 5th grade students of SD St. Theresia Massudirini 77 with 40 students. The results of observations in the pre-cycle that the critical thinking skills of students in the category are quite critical (15%). Based on these problems, the researchers made improvements to the classroom action research, using the Problem Based Learning model aided by Flash Card media. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of students in the quite critical category were (32.5%) in the first cycle and during the second cycle increased to (75%).

The purpose of this study is to describe how to improve social science critical thinking skills by applying Think Pair Share learning model. This study uses a classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 2 Gresik totaling 32 students. The study used three research instruments, namely tests, observations and interviews. Based on the results of observations, obtained data that the highest average social sciencecritical thinking skills of students in the first cycle is 60% and the lowest is 25%. While the second cycle increased, the highest average student's social science critical thinking ability became 90% and the lowest 70%. From these results it can be concluded that the application of the think pair share learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of social science grade VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 2 Gresik. Keywords: Social Science, Critical thinking skills, Think pair share learning models
