Implementation of the Total Quality Management in the Learning Quality Management System in Educational Institutions. Total Quality Management is needed in institutions. To ensure the quality of an institutions, the institutions needs to pay attention better than before. Therefore the leaders of the organization must think about what efforts should be taken. Total Quality Management is one thing that really needs to be considered. It takes a lot of effort from organizational managers so that the quality of the organization really becomes a matter that is taken into account from the organization. The implementation of Total Quality Management in the field of education is also very important and cannot be abandoned by the principal as a main leader in his institution. To carry out Total Quality Management. the head master of the school don’t work o their own, but principals must work together with other parties, namely teams formed specifically to study the quality development in the school. The team must be chaired by an expert in t he field so that if there are problems it can be aeasily overcome. With the formation of the team, efforts to improve the quality of education can be immediately achieved by the school.

This paper is a research that examines the empowerment of human resources through the application of total quality management at SMK Miftahul Huda Ngroto Grobogan that this school is always experiencing development and progress according to the times so it is interested to be researched. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques are through observation and interviews. The research data were presented in a descriptive narrative form. Total quality management is a scientific field that refers to quality, which will improve the quality of human resources in educational institutions, both from educators and students. So as to create superior and competitive educational output. Improving the quality of education is a problem that is still experienced by many educational institutions. To improve the quality of education, institutions need a system to help achieve quality education quality. So this study aims to analyze the application of Total Quality Management in the school accreditation program as an effort to improve the quality of education. This research is a literature study by taking data from several books and literature. This data collection technique uses documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using critical analysis which is interesting from several research documents. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of education is carried out by implementing Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management is carried out by continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing culture, changing organizations, maintaining relationships with customers and focusing on customer satisfaction. and have a commitment to change.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. In this case, it is important to carry out management functions in each educational institution. This article discusses the implementation of total quality management in educational institutions to seek to improve the quality of education in achieving a quality standard in education. Every educational institution should show better quality and be able to compete. This is intended so that educational institutions continue to gain the trust of the public and stakeholders. To continue to get this, it must be improved continuously, both physically and non-physically. So as to make a quality educational institution and guaranteed quality. Quality management is an approach to management which requires establishing quality policies, procedures and practices on regular basis. Engineering education is a process of developing techno human resources, which are to be used later as input to industry which in turn produces goods and services for the societal use. Having considered the current situation of the engineering educational system and the quality of all its individual components it can be noticed that the awareness of the importance of education as a foundation for the growth and development of the country, such as India, is not strong enough. Engineering graduates passing out from educational institutions have to fulfill modern and high standard requirements that are needed by industry. Therefore, there is a greater need to instill quality in engineering education to produce technically skilled and creative man-power in India. The continuous assessment of quality is of paramount importance for educational institution. Education efficiency and success does not depend just on quantity but as well on quality. This paper has discussed key points for the improvement in the quality of engineering education with a case study undertaken at various engineering colleges in India. The study was conducted in two phase; first phase is the critical investigation of the literature and the second phase is a study on the quality of engineering education provided by the educational institutions in Visakhapatnam city. A simple random sampling technique was adopted for the study. A research study described in this paper identifies and analyses the quality of engineering education at the educational institutions which adopt the total quality management system to increase the quality and meet the industrial requirements and then suggests some ingredients to improve the quality.

Entering the past decade, the issue of quality has always been the talk of the actual, especially in the context of education management. Recognized or not, the quality of Islamic education institutions are still largely under the quality of education in general. Various attempts have been made and many of the concepts that have been applied, but everything seemed not bring significant improvement. "Total Quality Management (TQM) or Integrated Quality Management (MMT) as an effort to improve the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. Although at first the concept of MMT is only known in the industry, but the amazing success invite the interest of education experts, 3 to study it more deeply, formulate operational patterns of adoption, and to create a model in teknical to apply. This research was conducted in SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Consideration is SMP Muhammadiyah I Gurgaon is one of the Islamic educational institutions (schools distinctively Islamic) 5 formal mission has always been to apply concepts of Quality Management (TQM). This study resulted in that SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok already implementing Total Quality Management in the management of education. However, the application of Total Quality Management in SMP Muhammadiyah I Depok can be said is not fully maximized, in the sense that there are still some things that need to be evaluated together.

Accreditation is an activity for evaluating the feasibility of a program in an education based on predetermined criteria. This accreditation is applied as an evaluation material and also controls the quality of education. However, even though the accreditation system has been developed and formulated in such a way, not many schools have been able to implement the existing instruments in the accreditation to improve the quality of their educational institutions. Many schools have not utilized the existing systems and instruments in accreditation optimally. Therefore, the implementation of accreditation in schools also requires an approach so that the process can run optimally. That approach is called by Total Quality Management (TQM). This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study found that accreditation in the TQM perspective contains the principles, among others: First, accreditation contains standards that are used as reference for implementation; Second, the school utilizes the assessment instruments that are in the accreditation to monitor the ongoing education services (monitoring and evaluation); Third, school accreditation is used to identify deficiencies in schools (deviations); Fourth, accreditation is used as a reference to continuously improve the quality of their schools.

Masa sekarang ini, pendidikan menjadi prioritas menanamkan nilai-nilai moral pada generasi di Indonesia, sehingga menjadi urgen menemukan cara bagaimana meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dalam meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan harus menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang mampu memecahkan masalah global dalam dunia pendidikan. Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah konsep manajemen sekolah dalam melaksanakan pendidikan serta diharapkan bisa memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik sesuai dengan pembangunan, tuntutan dan dinamika masyarakat. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba’ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik telah menerapkan empat konsep dalam TQM untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan: pertama, mutu dalam proses penerimaan siswa di lembaga ini; kedua, kepuasan pelanggan yaitu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik; ketiga, perbaikan terus menerus dalam rekrutmen guru yang berkualitas dan mempunyai keahlian lainnya dan setiap akhir semester melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil kinerja guru, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran; dan keempat, melibatkan seluruh komponen yang ada di lembaga pendidikan. Kata Kunci: total quality management, mutu pendidikan, madrasah Nowadays, education is a priority to instill moral values ??in generations in Indonesia. So it becomes urgent to find ways to improve the quality of education. Therefore, in improving the quality of education, it must create human resources capable of solving global problems in the world of education. Total Quality Management (TQM) is the concept of school management in implementing education and is expected to provide a better change in accordance with the development, demands, and dynamics of the community. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Mamba'ul Hisan Sidayu Gresik has applied four concepts in TQM to improve the quality of education quality, first, the quality of the student admission process at this institution; second, customer satisfaction is to meet the needs of students; third, continuous improvement in the recruitment of qualified teachers and other experts and at the end of each semester evaluates the performance of teachers, improving the quality of learning; and fourth, it is involving all components in educational institutions.
