Skilled employee can be obtained either in company or out company. If wechoose employee from out of company, we will need big expense. Therefore it is possible to usethe employee that is exist in the company, by making developing techiques such as coaching based on duty given by company and thing that can increase employee’s achievement and desire. Basically Fa.P.M.H. Medan has run the development or education and train, but the number of developed employee is few. In participant selection of employee development, company is less objective. The development of employee’s achievement in facing the obstacle is many employees that have followed education and train placed in good place and less in getting company’s appreciation.

Anak Pelangi Indonesia (API) Foundation is a non-profit foundation that offers scholarship programs for elementary, middle and high school students. This institute is supported by donaturs who give contribution to the Foundation. The donation is processed to be a cost that is used to pay Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) or Education Development Donation of each student. Currently, the provision of monthly donor fund is at uncertain amount so that the Foundation needs to determine the students of whom SPP will be firstly paid. However, the funding needs of each student are different due to the different amount of SPP and a giving fine from the school for the tardiness in paying the tuition. From these matters, the Foundation finds it difficult in deciding which students whose the tuition will be paid first. The solution to this problem is to use the four criteria referring to the tuition payment, namely the difference of pay date, fine, rank, and the amount of payment. The four criteria is then given the same integrity which is 25% for each criteria and counted by using Weighted Product (WP) method. The result of this research is an information system to the selection of scholarship payment using Weight Product method that takes the biggest value from the calculation result as a reference in deciding which students of whom SPP will be initially paid in accordance with the current fund condition.

Purpose. To substantiate a rational schedule for the combined dragline-truck operation taking into consideration a coefficient of mining in the context of the pit. Methodology. Mathematical and graphical modeling was involved while determining a coefficient of mining concentration in the pit as well as feasibility analysis to select a rational procedure scheme for dragline operation. Findings. Recommendations for the selection of rational dragline operation, while truck loading in the context of Motronivsko-Annivskyi pit, have been developed taking into consideration mining concentration degree in the pit. It has been determined that bottom dragline unloading into a truck, located in the central part of bench mining width, as well as the dragline position at 0.5 A distance from the bench crest, is the most efficient plan of action for the conditions. Technological scheme to develop Motronivsko-Annivskyi pit has been proposed. Originality. Dependence of the mining concentration in the pit upon the parameters of development system elements according to different technological schemes has been derived. The dependence helps estimate development cost for overburden rocks using draglines with direct unloading into trucks. Practical value. Technological schemes for the combined dragline dump truck operation have been developed. Their use makes it possible to cut the prime cost of overburden activities. Implementation of the proposed solutions helps cut stripping cost by UAH 79.65 million a year if annual overburden volume is Qrozkryvu - Qstripping = 13.5 million m3/year.

Four seminal randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have investigated aspirin, aspirin plus extended release dipyridamole, and clopidogrel for the prevention of recurrent vascular events. Despite studying over 32,000 stroke patients in these trials, the decision which antiplatelet agent to select for secondary stroke prevention remains controversial. Attempts to translate the results of these RCTs into clinical practice are complicated by each trial’s selection of participants and choice of primary outcome. Herein, we argue that by examining RCT results with participant selection limited to patients with ischemic stroke or TIA and by focusing on recurrent stroke as our outcome, we can use the standard epidemiology two-by-two table to assist in selecting an antiplatelet agent for secondary stroke prevention.

Abstract The book has long played an important role in medieval and indeed modern culture, being at the same time a carrier of texts and images, a sign potentially of wealth and/or education, a site of enquiry for modern scholarship for literature, history, linguistics, palaeography, codicology, art history, and more. The ‘archaeology of the book’ can tell us about its history (or biography) as well as the cultures that produced and used it, right up to its present ownership. This multidimensionality of the object has long been known, but it has also proven a challenge to digital approaches which (like all representations) are by their nature models that involve conscious or unconscious selection of particular aspects, and that have been more successful in some aspects than others. This then raises the question to what degree these different viewpoints can be brought together into something approaching a holistic view, while always allowing for the tension between standardisation and innovation, and while remembering that a ‘complete model’ is a tautology, neither possible nor desirable.

The analysis of the morphological features can be framed in different temporal and spatial scales, depending on the specific objectives and methodologies of the various scientific fields that find in them a valuable source of information. The inventory and assessment of the geomorphological heritage may be based not exclusively in geophysical factors, but also in its contribution to the structuring of the biosphere, in its interrelation with other types of heritage or even in its potential for research or education purposes. In this article, we proceeded to the selection of a set of geomorphosites, at different scales, in Serra do Alvão (northern Portugal), seeking to demonstrate the importance of the broad lines of relief and intermediate and detailed landforms to the organization of the cultural landscape. Based on a questionnaire applied to a sample of 104 persons, it was intended to assess the value of the geomorphosites, concerning the scientific, preservation, use, cultural and educational dimensions.

It is generally understood that there is some bias involved in selection of participants for driver performance studies, but little is known about the extent of this problem. To execute a National Cooperative Highway Research Program project on the effectiveness of traffic control devices, a sample of younger and older drivers was required. The purpose was to gain insight into the bias introduced through participant selection and self-selection. Of interest is whether the drivers who participate in projects for which driving or other testing is required tend to be different than the general population of licensed drivers. Results indicate that, compared with nonparticipants, participants are more active, more likely to travel and drive, less likely to avoid driving in certain circumstances, and less likely to have vision problems. The implication is that project participants represent more highly mobile and confident drivers than would be found in a random sample of the general population. However, project participants also had higher percentages of total accidents and violation points and were involved in more severe accidents than nonparticipants. These problems may be somewhat mitigated, though, by higher driving exposure for participant drivers. Such self-selection bias needs to be considered whenever research like this is undertaken.

Purpose: To determine POAG in those patients have normal morphological fundi, C:D ratio and Neuroretinal rim, IOP may or may not significant rised. Background: At first there are no detectable symptoms except history usually given by patients altered acuity and glasses are not working properly, if this frequently complaint 3-4 times for last 8 months suspicion should developed for POAG. Design: Prospective Cohort study. Participant: Selection of Patients is based upon these factors: *Aged >40yrs regardless of gender discrimination. *Those have axial length of eye ball 24.0+/- 2.5mm. *Three or more consecutive visits to OPD for V.A correction within last 8 month. Method: We performed comphrensive Ophthalmic Examination i-e V.A, Ophthalmoscopy, Biomiroscopy, Gold standard Applanation Tonometry. When Patients have complaint persistant change of glasses without any defined morphology aetiology. We investigated these particular group for RNFL thinkness at OCT and measure thickness RNFL of twice in year. Result: There is variation of RNFL thickness in earliest suspected POAG patient with mean RNFL thickness 0.22 +/-0.1 moderate suspected POAG mean RNFL thickness 0.16 +/-0.12 and with healthy patient mean RNFL thickness 0.23 +/-0.03. All have clinical C:D ratio under range 0.2 to 0.5 and IOP under range of 14 to 18mmhg. Conclusion: We analysed the values thickness of RNFL at OCT along supportive history of frequent complaint altered V.A within last 8 months helps to sort out asymptomatic POAG before development of sign and symptoms associated with thousands of axonal death. Once Glaucoma developed, its hallmark of Irrveresible, Progressive, Permanent loss of vision badly affects quality of life.
