This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of human resource management practices (i.e. leadership styles, employee commitment, work motivation, and work climate) on employee job satisfaction and employee performance. This study used primary data obtained through a survey to 221 employees as a sample. The result of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis shows that empirically the leadership style, employee commitment, work motivation, and work climate have positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Leadership style, employee commitment, work motivation, and work climate, either directly or indirectly have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction as variable intervening. Job satisfaction has a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance. The direct effect of leadership styles, employee commitment, motivation and work climate on employee performance is positive, which means that when the exogenous variables improved the job satisfaction and employee performance will increase. The indirect effect of exogenous variable on employee performance through job satisfaction is positive. The total effect which is the sum of the direct and indirect effects through job satisfaction obtained positive value, which means there is effect of direct effect and indirect effect of exogenous variable on employee performance through job satisfaction.

Purpose – This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.Method – The population in this study were all employees at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Walisongo Semarang with a total sample of 58 respondents. The analysis in this study uses path analysis technique.Result – The results showed that work motivation had a significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation had a significant effect on performance and job satisfaction variables had a significant effect on performance. The results of the path analysis conducted showed that work motivation had a direct effect on employee performance, while work motivation had an indirect effect on performance through intervening work.Implication – This study assists the management of higher education to create working design for a better performance.Originality – This study enriches the empirical study of job performance in higher education context in Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance, leadership style on employee performance, work motivation on employee performance, organizational culture on work motivation, leadership style on work motivation, organizational culture on employee performance through work motivation and determine the effect of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through work motivation. The research was conducted at PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia involves 122 employees of the company. Data analysis using path analysis. The results showed that organizational culture variables affect employee performance, leadership style affects employee performance, motivation affects employee performance, organizational culture affects motivation, leadership style affects motivation. Organizational culture on employee performance is 0.564. The influence of organizational culture on performance through motivation is 0.697 x 0.865 = 0.603. In this case, the indirect effect is greater than the direct effect, so it can be said that the work motivation variable is intervening. The direct influence of organizational work culture on employee performance is 0.657. In contrast, the influence of work organizational culture on employee performance through motivation is 0.782 x 0.865 = 0.676. In this case, the indirect effect is greater than the direct effect, so it can be said that the work motivation variable is intervening.

The purpose of this journal discussion is to analyze and prove work motivation and supportive leadership styles towards employee job satisfaction. The results of this study indicate how motivation and leadership style have significant positive thoughts on employee job satisfaction. Work motivation influences employee’s performance. Leadership is an important factor in providing direction to the employee especially at this present moment in which transparency becomes essential. The leadership that is needed is leadership that can empower their employees. Leadership that can motivate employees is leadership that can foster a sense of confidence of the employees in carrying out their duties.

Government agencies' service standards have been established based on MENPAN Decree No. 25/2004. Therefore it is necessary to review the giving of work motivation, so that job satisfaction and performance can be improved again. The purpose of this research is to measure and analyze the direct and indirect effects of service quality, work motiva-tion, on job satisfaction and performance and to measure and analyze the direct influence and indirect effect between job satisfactions on employee performance. The sample of the study consisted of 200 people taxpayers service staff Palangka Raya BPPRD Office. Research data in the form of primary and secondary data obtained through observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis, while the job satisfaction variable was an intervening varia-ble and performance was the dependent variable (the dependent variable). From the results of path analysis where the direct effect between service quality on job satisfaction and on performance has a significant effect, and work motiva-tion on job satisfaction is not significant. While the indirect effect (indirect effects) quality of service on performance through job satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.115 is greater than work motivation on performance through job satis-faction by 0.030, meaning that work motivation on performance through job satisfaction has a non-significant effect.

This study aims to: 1) To determine and analyze the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on work discipline, 2) To determine and analyze the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance, 3) To determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance, 4) To find out and analyze the influence of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance through work discipline PT. Bambu Tirta Engineering. The research was conducted at PT. Bambu Tirta Engineering with a research sample of 64 respondents. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis with path analysis. The results showed that: 1) there is an effect of motivation and job satisfaction on work discipline, 2) there is an effect of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance, 3) there is an effect of work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Bambu Tirta Engineering and 4) there is no influence between motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance through work discipline PT. Bambu Tirta Engineering. This means that the direct effect is greater than the indirect effect, the work discipline variable cannot mediate between motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Bambu Tirta Engineering.

UPTD  Public Parking DISHUB Surabaya intends  to run its working durability which one of them is caused by customer’s high loyalty. Service and post-service are factors that are important to create organizational culture towards managerial work and commitment. Therefore, we should examine the role of service variable to commitment variable as intervening variable.Respondents of this study are 87 samples by using purposive sampling method. Questionnaire consists of 3 variables, those are organizational culture with 26 indicators, then commitment with 15 indicators, and managerial work  with 10 indicators .Suitable method to answer above problem is Path Analysis. The result is that path analysis shows that managerial work  may have direct influence to commitment  and have indirect influence that is from organizational culture to commitment as a new intervening to managerial work. Direct influence of organizational culture  to managerial work  that is  is 0,232. Indirect influence of organizational culture  to commitment  that is 0,810, meanwhile from commitment to managerial work, that is 0,617. Therefore, indirect influence, that (0,810)*(0,617)=0,4997.Hypothesis stating that assumption of organization culture direct effect on performance be higher than organization culture indirect effect via employee performance commitment in UPTD Parkir of Surabaya City are refused. Cause organization culture indirect effect through employee performance are 0,49977 while organization culture direct effect on employee performance are 0,232. This result proving that Organization Culture which created the company as conducive will emerging Employee Commitment. Through this Employee Commitment. Will be effected on Employee Performance then furthermore effecting Organization Performance. Based on those results, it can be suggested that a company should give more emphasize to organizational culture  and commitment  because there is evidence that it may cause customer’s managerial work because organizational culture is a very important factor in guaranteeing UPTD  Public Parking DISHUB Surabaya.

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Effect of Self-Efficacy, Work Motivation, and Mediated by Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at PT. Bank BNI Syariah Pekalongan Branch Office. The method of this research uses quantitative research with SMART PLS analysis tools. In this study the entire population is also sample because the population are 57 employees, consisting of 34 male and 23 female employees. The results of this study indicate that:There is a positive and significant direct effect of self-efficacy on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank BNI Syariah Pekalongan Branch Office.There is a positive and significant direct effect of work motivation on employee Job Satisfaction at PT Bank BNI Syariah Pekalongan Branch Office.There is a positive and significant direct effect of self-efficacy on employee performance at PT. Bank BNI Syariah Pekalongan Branch Office.There is a positive and significant direct effect of work motivation on employee performance at PT.
