At present, it is especially acute to study valuable forest species at the genetic level in order to ensure their safety, species identification and the origin of wood control. Larch (Larix) is one of the ecologically and economically important conifers in our country. Preservation and study of the forest plant species genetic diversity anywhere, including the Jewish Autonomous Region (EAO), is one of the fundamental challenges of modern botany, ecology, genetics and dendrology. In the article, the author analyzes samples of larch stand needles collected in the Jewish Autonomous Region. Using the necessary loci, selected by means of the genetic method, the author analyzed features of the Larix gmelinii and Larix sibirica species [4] No less urgent is the problem of plant damage by phytopathogens. A phytopathogen is a causative agent of plant disease that releases biologically active substances that have a detrimental effect on metabolism, affecting the root system, disrupting the function of chloroplasts, growth processes, and the supply of nutrients. Violation of metabolism in plant cells and organs, resulted in their productivity decrease or complete death, leads to the disruption of populations’ integrity and causes enormous harm to both agricultural crops and forest-forming species. This work shows the results of analysis of the larch plantations phytosanitary state and the percentage of healthy and affected plantations in the regions. The comprehensive laboratory analysis has shown that the laboratory methods successfully complement each other. It is possible to give a complete and correct description of taxonomic and biological characteristics of a phytopathogen using simultaneously several laboratory techniques for its identification. Ultimately, it should be of help in the development of methods for combating pathogens.

The paper presents a comparative assessment of the nutritional value depending on the phenological phase of Onobrychis viciifolia Scop., as well as the determination of the regularity of the accumulation of biologically active substances and heavy metals in the herb of the species. The yield of green mass of plants was determined. From each hectare of sowing, 9,7 centners of protein can be obtained; the yield of fiber is 13 centners, BEV is 22,9 centners, fat is 1,6 centners, ash is 4 centners and carotene is 13.0 kg. Depending on the growing season, the chemical composition in the grass of Onobrychis viciifolia changes. The content of calcium, phosphorus increases, and the presence of iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, manganese and molybdenum and amino acids decreases.

An analytical method for the quantitative determination of antioxidant sodium metabisulphite in veterinary drugs has been proposed by spectrophotometric method. Based on the literature data, the optimal conditions of the analytical reaction were selected experimentally. The dependence of the value of the analytical signal on the temperature of the reaction medium, concentration of p-rosaniline and duration of the reaction was investigated to establish the optimal conditions of the analytical reaction and obtain a stable analytical signal. The stability of the colored analytical form in time was also checked and the linear dependence of the value of the analytical signal on the concentration of sodium metabisulphite was investigated. The analytical reaction at room temperature is optimal. The maximum analaytical signal is achieved by carrying out the analytical reaction for 10 minutes and then practically does not change for an hour. To achieve the maximum analytical signal, it is necessary to use a 20-fold excess of dye relative to sodium metabisulphite. The analytical signal remains stable only for the first hour, then gradually begins to decrease. Metrological characteristics of the method of determination of metabisulphite in veterinary drugs are calculated, the limits of spectrophotometric determination are 0.33 – 2.50 μg/ml. The correctness of the developed method was checked on model solutions by the method of "introduced-found" method of comparison in the presence of various biologically active substances that are part of drugs together with sodium metabisulphite. The content of sodium metabisulphite in veterinary drugs of domestic and foreign production at different intervals of their storage time was established. It is shown that the content of sodium metabisulphite in drugs decreases during their storage time, until complete disappearance, which directly affects the content of the active substance, because in the absence of antioxidant oxidative processes with biologically active substances begin to take place.

General information about biologically active substances flavonoids is concisely presented. The need for the quantitative determination of its content in products and the influence of product processing on flavonoid’s content is justified. Methods of qualitative and quantitative determination of flavonoids content in various products, medications and raw materials were studied. Based on this study the method of quantitative determination of flavonoid’s in samples of irradiated coriander is compiled and tested. Further ways to improve and adjust the compiled method for flavonoid’s content determination in irradiated samples via spectrophotometric analysis is considered.

Rheumatic diseases include more than 1000 nosological forms, among which the highest incidence is osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. The predominantly advanced age, the presence of comorbid diseases, the duration of the course of the disease and the need for concomitant treatment complicate the conduct of anti-inflammatory and analgesic therapy in such patients. Herbal medicines, in particular in the form of doses, due to the mildness of the action and the absence of significant side effects, can be used in the complex therapy of the acute period of rheumatic diseases, as well as for the prevention of relapse. The aim of the presented work was to develop the composition, technology and determination of the quality indices of herbal collection, which reveals analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used for the prophylaxis and auxiliary therapy of a number of conditions in rheumatology. Materials and methods. In the course of research, the methods used in the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine 2.0 (SPHU) were used. Results. As a result of the analysis of literary data and our own experimental studies on the chemical composition and pharmacological activity of certain types of medicinal plant material, we have developed herbal collection that is recommended for the treatment and prevention of rheumatic diseases of the joints. Studies have been conducted on the development of quality collection indicators, which guarantee the effectiveness, safety, reproducibility of the imposed collection. The basic technological parameters of the raw material are determined: specific, bulk and volume mass, porosity, degree, degree of shredding. In order to prevent uneven mixing, an optimal degree of grinding of the raw material of the investigated collection, which ranges from 0.20 mm to 0.35 mm, is established, which allows obtaining a homogeneous mixture and contributes to the maximum yield of extractive and active substances. A series of experimental works aimed at studying the influence of the method of infusion (for 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes and until complete cooling) on the quality of the collected water extracts from the collection was conducted. The optimal method for setting the collection for 60 minutes is the best, since the content of extractives and flavonoids in the aqueous extract was highest and amounted to 49.57±0.52 % and 0.52±0.03 % respectively. Conclusions. The composition of the herbal drug was developed: Harpagophyti radiх, Sophoraе alabastra, Valvae fructus Phaseoli vulgaris, Polygoni avicularis herba with the following ratio of components 50: 20: 20:10. The technological parameters of the raw material are studied: specific, volumetric and bulk mass, porosity, singularity of raw materials. The optimum degree of shredding of raw material is established, which helps to maximally remove biologically active substances and extractives. Experimental way is determined the optimal mode of collection, which can be recommended to the consumer to obtain the maximum therapeutic effect.
