In the publication is specified, that providing of safe divergence of vessels at sailing in the straitened waters is one of most the issue of the day of accident-free of navigation. Therefore, straitened districts of sailing with especially intensive motion for the control of process of navigation by the stations of traffic control of vessels which for providing of safe divergence of vessels must dispose by modern facilities of warning of collision of vessels, reducing influencing of human factor of operator by the use of methods of automatic determination of strategy of divergence of vessels at their external management. Actuality of development of method of automatic determination of parameters of strategy of divergence of vessels by the change of their courses is determined to these. The analysis of the last achievements and publications is resulted in work, the decision of the considered problem and selection of parts unsolved before is begun in which. It is shown that for the decision of problem of warning of collisions of vessels was used method of nonlinear integral invariance, methods of theory of optimum discrete processes, and also methods of differential game theory. The method of warning of collision of vessels by displacement on a line parallel of way of ship and method of flexible strategies of divergence of vessels got development, allowing to form optimum strategy of divergence of ship with a few dangerous targets taking into account substantial factors. The publication contains analytical dependence of values of courses of deviation of vessels providing their divergence on minimum - possible distance of rapprochement, without taking into account inertia. It is specified, that for optimum of maneuver of divergence is needed, that increases of courses and were minimum, and as the criterion of optimum the sum of their squares is chosen. It is shown that without taking into account inertia of ship at a turn distance of the shortest rapprochement appears less minimum-possible distance on a size which depends on the increase of relative coordinates of vessels in times of turn and relative course of their deviation. Procedure of progressive approximations is offered for the calculation of courses of deviation of vessels taking into account their inertia and the algorithm of calculation of course of deviation is represented. Set by the values by the increases of courses from - 60° to 60°, the courses of deviation of the second ship settle accounts, which the courses of deviation of the first ship taking into account the dynamics of vessels and increase of his course are determined on. Every maneuver of divergence is characterized by the criterion of optimum, thus the maneuver of divergence gets out as optimum, at which the criterion of optimum is minimum. A situation is resulted in the publication, for which the computer imitation program expected the optimum courses of deviation of vessels. By the computer program, playing of maneuver of divergence of vessels with the got courses of deviation was produced.

Modernization of the Ukrainian economy under the influence of global post-industrial trends mainstreams the priority of development of science-intensive, high-tech, innovative activities. Modernization creates the preconditions for strengthening competitive positions in the national and global markets. In modern conditions, the issue of assessing the competitiveness of catering companies is relevant. High competitiveness of the enterprise is the main condition of its activity and development. The purpose of the study is to assess the competitiveness of catering companies in the market of catering services in Ukraine. The study proposes methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of catering companies. Methodological approaches include continuity of monitoring, determination of parameters, indicators and criteria, selection of optimal evaluation methods. In the process of research the following methods were used: sociological survey, simple ranking, integrated assessment and factor method, system approach method. It was established that methodical approaches to assessing the competitiveness of catering companies include justification and development of a system of socio-economic indicators and criteria (product quality, quality of service, quality and organizational staff, efficiency, efficiency of personnel management, price). Methodological approaches include a set of indicators that form an integrated indicator of competitiveness. This indicator allows to consider objective differences in the dynamics of enterprises, the conditions of use of available resources in the process of forecasting and development of enterprises. A comprehensive diagnosis was carried out based on an integrated indicator of the competitiveness of restaurants on special orders (catering), during which it was determined that its level has a significant differentiation according to the indicators of the studied enterprises, which are due to both external and internal factors, which allows the development of strategic priorities and specific measures to develop the image of the enterprise and increase its competitiveness.

The method of quasi-conical tilting for the 3D reconstruction of single macromolecules utilizes the fact that particles tend to adsorb to the supporting film in a few preferred orientations, though with arbitrary azimuthal angles. Therefore, a single electron micrograph of a tilted specimen containing a large number of particle projections provides the data of a conical tilt series with projection directions distributed randomly on a cone. For the selection of particles of equal orientation with respect to the supporting film and for the determination of their azimuth angles, a zero tilt image taken after the minimum dose “tilt image” is utilized.A disadvantage of the method is the large focal range of the tilt image, which e.g. at 30,000× magnification exceeds 5 μm. This, however, can be overcome by small-spot illumination in conjunction with dynamic focusing. For this, the illuminating beam is reduced to a diameter of 50-200 nm, and shifted stepwise or continuously over the object; for each spot position the focus is properly adjusted. Thus the focus range of the whole image is restricted to that of a single spot. Another way to realize dynamic focusing of a tilted object is the use of a narrow slit aperture in the condenser C2, thus illuminating a straight line parallel to the tilt axis.

Abstract By combining the reasoning design of the expert system with the analysis and calculation of spring based on a mathematical model and its optimal design, an intelligent spring CAD system has been established. The expert system technique is adopted for such non-calculating designing steps as the selection of scheme, the determination of parameters as well as for the development of the technological process, thus greatly strengthening the original CAD system of springs. This paper provides a detailed description of the function, structure, characteristic features and significance of the said system.

This work aimed to describe the adsorption of sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose and fructooligosaccharides) employing different adsorbents (celite, active carbon and NaX zeolite) by means of isothermal models. At the adsorbent selection step, the active carbon exhibited a higher affinity for the adsorption of fructooligosaccharides. On the other hand, the adsorbents NaX zeolite and celite presented the highest adsorption stability with glucose, giving values of 1.496 g glucose/g zeolite and 1.35 g glucose/g celite. Therefore, zeolite and celite were the adsorbents selected for the determination of isothermal kinetics and it was shown that the linear model (q*= k.C*) provided the best fit for the experimental data. The temperatures studied were 30, 40 and 50 °C, and the 50°C resulted in the highest partition coefficient (k) for glucose on celite, indicating that higher temperatures benefit sugar adsorption.

Abstract This paper presents a new original method of selection of main engines for hopper suction dredgers with regard to probabilistic models. It was proposed to use the normal distribution to describe the operational loads of the main receivers. The principles for determination of parameters of load distribution and design power of the main engines were formulated. Lastly, the principles of selection of the size and number of main engines has been proposed.
