IOT is the latest advanced technology. To help the customer value, it is the backbone of both service sector and product area businesses. In 5G technology, internet of things is a main role to play in future. It is used to support the intelligent, big data analytics and lots of application such as health care, smart cities and industrial. Advancement of 5G technology will recognize MECfor future of cloud computing. MEC is used to provide multiple application such as service providers, mobile subscribers, enterprises and other vertical segments. MEC technology provides low latency and quality of services [QOS].It distributes the network uniformly with strong mobility supports. In this paper a detailed review of MEC technology for IoT application is discussed.

The evolution of Mobile Networks and Internet of Things (IoT) architectures allows one to rethink the way smart cities infrastructures are designed and managed, and solve a number of problems in terms of human mobility. The territories that adopt the sensoring era can take advantage of this disruptive technology to improve the quality of mobility of their citizens and the rationalization of their resources. However, with this rapid development of smart terminals and infrastructures, as well as the proliferation of diversified applications, even current networks may not be able to completely meet quickly rising human mobility demands. Thus, they are facing many challenges and to cope with these challenges, different standards and projects have been proposed so far. Accordingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been utilized as a new paradigm for the design and optimization of mobile networks with a high level of intelligence. The objective of this work is to identify and discuss the challenges of mobile networks, alongside IoT and AI, to characterize smart human mobility and to discuss some workable solutions to these challenges. Finally, based on this discussion, we propose paths for future smart human mobility researches.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has been extensively deployed in smart cities. However, with the expanding scale of networking, the failure of some nodes in the network severely affects the communication capacity of IoT applications. Therefore, researchers pay attention to improving communication capacity caused by network failures for applications that require high quality of services (QoS). Furthermore, the robustness of network topology is an important metric to measure the network communication capacity and the ability to resist the cyber-attacks induced by some failed nodes. While some algorithms have been proposed to enhance the robustness of IoT topologies, they are characterized by large computation overhead, and lacking a lightweight topology optimization model. To address this problem, we first propose a novel robustness optimization using evolution learning (ROEL) with a neural network. ROEL dynamically optimizes the IoT topology and intelligently prospects the robust degree in the process of evolutionary optimization. The experimental results demonstrate that ROEL can represent the evolutionary process of IoT topologies, and the prediction accuracy of network robustness is satisfactory with a small error ratio. Our algorithm has a better tolerance capacity in terms of resistance to random attacks and malicious attacks compared with other algorithms.

Big data analytics, cloud computing & internet of things are a smart triad which have started shaping our future towards smart home, city, business, country. Internet of things is a convergence of intelligent networks, electronic devices, and cloud computing. The source of big data at different connected electronic devices is stored on cloud server for analytics. Cloud provides the readymade infrastructure, remote processing power to consumers of internet of things. Cloud computing also gives device manufacturers and service providers access to ―advanced analytics and monitoring‖, ―communication between services and devices‖, ―user privacy and security‖. This paper, presents an overview of internet of things, role of cloud computing & big data analytics towards IoT. In this paper IoT enabled automatic irrigation system is proposed that saves data over ―ThingSpeak‖ database an IoT analytics platform through ESP8266 wifi module. This paper also summarizes the application areas and discusses the challenges of IoT.

The rapid growth of the world's population is placing a huge strain on the existing infrastructures. As a quest for accommodating this growth, interest is turned to the internet of things (IoT). In fact, the IoT is significantly improving today's quality of life by innovating the provided services and enhancing communication and interaction. Furthermore, it has also empowered real-time decision making by introducing dynamic services for innovative traffic handling, energy-efficient infrastructure saving, and public safety ensuring. However, IoT applications for smart cities is still a major issue as it lacks assuring privacy and security within provided services. In this chapter, the authors pinpoint IoT's security risk assessment challenges and examine its critical influence on smart cities. Additionally, they highlight the key aspects characterizing a smart city which also represent the critical assets requiring security risk assessment. Moreover, they discuss the resulting issues and their related countermeasures.

This study presents the proposed testbed implementation for the Advanced Technology Training Center (ADTEC) Batu Pahat, one of Malaysia’s industrial training institutes. The objectives of this study are to discover the issues regarding network congestion, propose a suitable method to overcome such issues, and generate output data for the comparison of the results before and after the proposed implementation. The internet is directly connected to internet service providers (ISPs), which neither impose any rule nor filter the traffic components; all connections comply on the basis of the base effort services provided by the ISP. The congestion problem has been raised several times and the information technology (IT) department has been receiving complaints about poor and sometimes intermittent internet connection. Such issues provide some ideas for a possible solution because the end client is a human resource core business. In addition, budget constraints contribute to this problem. After a comprehensive review of related literature and discussion with experts, the implementation of quality of service through add-on rules, such as traffic policing on network traffic, was proposed. The proposed testbed also classified the traffic. Results show that the proposed testbed is stable. After the implementation of the generated solution, the IT department no longer receives any complaints, and thus fulfills the goal of having zero internet connection issues.

In this research paper the researcher focused on a road map in between analysis of internet of things to smart telecommunication industries. The telecommunication industry would be spending more resources in delivering data network as per the data demand for different use cases. While faster data network would be required for connecting cars and other things, a low bandwidth network would work just fine in the use case of smart metering. Low-power WAN networks aka LP-WAN such as Sigfox or LoRa are being rolled out by some of the leading mobile operators to ensure smooth working of the smart devices and applications that require low power consumption and can work perfectly in low bandwidth. The researcher analysed a real case study on Communication service providers (CSPs) would be adopting a more data-centric approach that would enable the smart devices to stay connected with the internet for without any interruption. Moreover, the service providers would also monetize their data and boost profitability by providing data services that would provide full support for the upcoming new devices. The telecom companies would have to invest more resources into providing the highest quality of network in terms of data consumption. A consistent service across different devices would be the key to success in the connected world.

The Internet of Things (IoT), inspired by the tremendous growth of connected heterogeneous devices, has pioneered the notion of smart city. Various components, i.e., smart transportation, smart community, smart healthcare, smart grid, etc. which are integrated within smart city architecture aims to enrich the quality of life (QoL) of urban citizens. However, real-time processing requirements and exponential data growth withhold smart city realization. Therefore, herein we propose a Big Data analytics (BDA)-embedded experimental architecture for smart cities. Two major aspects are served by the BDA-embedded smart city. Firstly, it facilitates exploitation of urban Big Data (UBD) in planning, designing, and maintaining smart cities. Secondly, it occupies BDA to manage and process voluminous UBD to enhance the quality of urban services. Three tiers of the proposed architecture are liable for data aggregation, real-time data management, and service provisioning. Moreover, offline and online data processing tasks are further expedited by integrating data normalizing and data filtering techniques to the proposed work. By analyzing authenticated datasets, we obtained the threshold values required for urban planning and city operation management. Performance metrics in terms of online and offline data processing for the proposed dual-node Hadoop cluster is obtained using aforementioned authentic datasets. Throughput and processing time analysis performed with regard to existing works guarantee the performance superiority of the proposed work. Hence, we can claim the applicability and reliability of implementing proposed BDA-embedded smart city architecture in the real world.

In the recent years, developments growth have been rising in utilizing of recent technologies; Smart cities have been furnished with various electronic devices concentrated on the Internet of Things (IoT) to be more smarter than before. The Internet of Things is empowered by various emerging technologies such as smart cameras, sensors, wireless communication devices etc. Smart cities are huge systems connected with countless sub-systems, and these systems are depending on the electricity to move the human, things, and data to share information. Without electric power and Internet of Things, the smart city cannot be achieved and services cannot be provided. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive concept of IoT, the smart city as well as the relationship of Smart Cities to IoT. Moreover, an extensive review of the relationship of IoT to the smart city discussed with few instances of services provided by the government using IoT technologies for the citizens. Therefore the objects and applications which come under the IoT technology that can be used to meet the objective of having a smart city. In this paper, a thorough literature on the concept of IoT with Smart City and a brief comparison of it in terms of services, challenges, and issues are discussed. Also the discussion on the issues faced by service providers with regards to technologies used to equip the citizens with up to date services.
