There is a line of titles of Saint Mary mentioned by Pope Francis in his published encyclicals and apostolic exortations. However, we summarize them into seven new titles, namely, Saint Mary is the daughter of Zion, mother, queen, woman, star, bride, and the spring of happiness for the little people. We consider that the number seven title has opened the minds of the faithful about the joy of believing in the Triune God who saves the world and the significant role of Saint Mary in the success of this exalted work. The recognition of the seven new titles aims to support the understanding of the faith of the Catholic faithful in the Blessed Mary as Mother of God and Virgin. Apart from that, another goal is that the quality of the Church's faith in the virginity of Saint Mary and her mother of God will be strengthened. What kind of quality do you want to affirm? What he wants to affirm is the quality of the Church's faith which is rooted in the past of the Old Testament, which is flourishing and expanding in the present, and which will bear fruit to await eternal happiness in the future (eschatological). Thus, the seven new titles of Saint Mary can reveal the faith of the Church to live at all times.

Jubileu RCC. Vaticano II.Abstract: The hypothesis of this reflection is the Catholic Charismatic Renovation (RCC) as a post-conciliar movement. But is the council which renewed the Church only a remote reference for the Charismatic movement, or is it, in fact, also a compass of orientation for its course? In the light of more than 50 years passed since the closing of the council and of the celebration of the golden jubilee of the movement, the article proposes, in the first place, to recall the three big phases of RCC, principally in Brazil: genesis, evolution and consolidation. In a second part, the article shows the general appreciation of the movement as well by the ecclesiastic hierarchy as by theologians during these 50 years of its existence. In the third place, the author proposes a judgement in the form of a balance, reflecting the contributions of the RCC and the principal questionings of the movement. Lastly, as a conclusion, Pedro Rubens again takes up his hypothesis on the basis of the orientations of the council, and principally remembering the last appeals of Pope Francis to the RCC, thus indicating an appointment book open to the future, which has the Second Vatican Council as reference and compass, as it should be regarded by all Catholics. Keywords: Catholic Charismatic Renovation. Both Pope Francis and Robert Schreiter recognize that the world has been profoundly affected by conflict, globalization, and the breakdown of relationships on multiple levels. They also assert that the Church must address these situations. The ecclesiologies of both Schreiter and Francis offer effective tools for this work. This article will examine several key, shared concepts within their ecclesiologies. Specifically, their understandings of the missionary nature of the Church and their robust understanding of catholicity prove to be key concepts in the Church's response to a world marred by sin.

The article considers the dependence of the images of future on the socio-cultural context of their formation. Comparison of the images of the future found in A.I. Solzhenitsyn’s works of various years reveals his generally pessimistic attitude to the future in the situation of social stability and moderate optimism in times of society destabilization. At the same time, the author's images of the future both in the seventies and the nineties of the last century demonstrate the mismatch of social expectations and reality that was generally typical for the images of the future. According to the authors of the present article, Solzhenitsyn’s ideas that the revival of spirituality could serve as the basis for the development of economy, that the influence of the Church on the process of socio-economic development would grow, and that the political situation strongly depends on the personal qualities of the leader, are unjustified. Nevertheless, such ideas are still present in many images of the future of Russia, including contemporary ones.

The alliance of the Polish Catholic Church with the Law and Justice (PiS) government has been widely reported and resulted in significant benefits for the Church. However, beginning in mid-2016, the top church leadership, including the Episcopal Conference, has distanced itself from the government and condemned its use of National Catholicism as legitimation rhetoric for the government’s malpractices in the fields of human rights and democracy. How to account for this behavior? The article proposes two explanations. The first is that the alliance of the PiS with the nationalist wing of the Church, while legitimating its illiberal refugee policy and attacks on democratic institutions of the government, further radicalized the National Catholic faction of the Polish Church and motivated a reaction of the liberal and mainstream conservative prelates. The leaders of the Episcopate, facing an empowered and radical National Catholic faction, pushed back with a doctrinal clarification of Catholic orthodoxy. The second explanatory path considers the transnational influence of Catholicism, in particular of Pope Francis’ intervention in favor of refugee rights as prompting the mainstream bishops to reestablish the Catholic orthodoxy. The article starts by tracing the opposition of the Bishops Conference and liberal prelates to the government’s refugee and autocratizing policies. Second, it describes the dynamics of the Church’s internal polarization during the PiS government. Third, it traces and contextualizes the intervention of Pope Francis during the asylum political crisis (2015–2016). Fourth, it portrays their respective impact: while the Pope’s intervention triggered the bishops’ response, the deepening rifts between liberal and nationalist factions of Polish Catholicism are the ground cause for the reaction.

Abstract This essay argues for a participatory synodal Church and the possible contributions of the African palaver as a model for participatory dialogue in the Roman Catholic Church. The African palaver is the art of conversation, dialogue, and consensus-building in traditional society that can be appropriated in the current search for a more inclusive and expansive participatory dialogue at all levels of the life of the Church. I will develop this essay first by briefly exploring some theological developments on synodality between the Second Vatican Council and Pope Francis and some of the contributions of the reforms of Pope Francis to synodality in the Church. Secondly, I will identify how the African palaver functions through examples taken from two African ethnic groups. I will proceed to show how the African palaver could enter into dialogue with other new approaches to participatory dialogue for a synodal Church.

In the act of suicide there is an enforcement mechanism that matures in low spirits and is triggered by despair. The key issue is finding a method to destroy such a mechanism in order to help educators and psychologists. This article is an attempt to find the framework of suicide through an analysis of the word and concept of «уныние». The etymological study of the word «уныние» shows that it has an artificial origin and occurs for any functions only in the Slavonic Church and languages it influenced on. The word «уныние» is used to name a sinful situation. The study of the word «уныние» is at the intersection of theology, psychology and linguistics and makes it possible to understand that the word «уныние» came into existent simultaneously with the Church Slavonic. There was a word «ныть (нытьё)» in the Slavic languages. It is used to describe physical ill-being. The new word was created by adding prefix «у» to describe spiritual ill-being. Some ancient texts corroborate it. Common for these words etymological proto-indo-european root «nu» fills the word «уныние» with the meaning of inactive, careless and hopeless status before the miserable and bitter, present and desolation in the future. This conclusion is highly significant to follow in the next article, studying the framework of suicidal behavior.
