In today's world, communication has become very easy due to integration of communication technologies with internet. However, the visually challenged people find it very difficult to utilize this technology because of the fact that using it requires visual perception. Even though much advancement has been implemented to help them use computers efficiently, no user who is visually challenged can use this technology as efficiently as a normal user since they require some practice for using the available technologies. This project aims at developing an email system that will help even a naïve, visually impaired person to use the services for communication without previous training. The system does not require the use of keyboard. Instead, it will work only on mouse operations and speech. This system can also be used by any normal person, for instance, by someone who is unable to read.

In today’s world communication has become so easy due to integration of communication technologies with internet. However, the visually challenged people find it very difficult to utilize this technology because of the fact that using them requires visual perception. Even though many new advancements have been implemented to help them use the computers efficiently no naïve user who is visually challenged can use this technology as efficiently as a normal naïve user can do that is unlike normal users they require some practice for using the available technologies. This paper aims at developing an email system that will help even a naïve visually impaired person to use the services for communication without previous training. The system will not let the user make use of keyboard instead will work only on mouse operation and speech conversion to text. Also this system can be used by any normal person also for example the one who is not able to read. The system is completely based on interactive voice response which will make it user friendly and efficient to use.

One of the mostly used forms of communication among the people is Email. Lot of confidential and urgent information is exchanged over emails in today’s time. There are about 253 million visually impaired people worldwide. These visually impaired people are facing a problem of communication. Since, technology is growing day by day these types to visually challenged people feel that they are more challenged. So authors proposed a Voice based Email System using AI that will make email system very easily accessible to visually challenged people and also help society. Accessibility is the most important feature that is considered while developing this system. Any system is called accessible only if both able and disable people can use it easily

As the technology is enhancing, people are coming closer to digital life and digital communication. There are many ways to communicate with others through internet in this new advanced era. Most of them are choosing the easiest way of communication i.e., Electronic mail (E-mail). E-mail is the technology that enables user to contact with others by sending mails and also helps in business world communication. There are people who cannot use these technologies because either they are illiterate or do not have ability to see the screen. So, to make this technology closer to visually challenged people, authors proposed a Voice Based E -mail System. This system provides them the facility of communication and makes them much stronger and independent. This architecture will help blind people to access email and other multimedia functions. Leaving behind the old techniques, this voice -based email system will be containing new technologies that will be easily acceptable by visually challenged people.

A system and method for facilitating a visually impaired person for identifying a person. The method includes the step of storing a plurality of instructions for facilitating the visually impaired person identify the person in front of them by their face and/or voice characteristics by updating our project with Mask Detection using OpenCv and keras. It includes the step of receiving voice signals from the person present in surrounding of the visually impaired person and includes the step of capturing the pictures of a particular person and their surroundings of the visually impaired person and storing the processed data into the database or any storage devices. The data will be processed to AWS server or any local storage for processing and determining the person with the help of the database we already have. After processing and identifying the person with the help of face and voice recognition modules the name is sent to the visually impaired user’s phone in the form of a text message which will be read aloud by his phone’s virtual assistant.

To develop a voice primarily based email system that will facilitate visually impaired individuals to access email in a problem free manner. Together with providing usage of mail services simply and with efficiency, the system also will cut back the psychological feature work that must be unremarkably taken by the visually impaired to recollect and sort characters using the normal Braille keyboards, which are accessible to them. The graphical user interface of this method has been evaluated against the interface of the traditionally accessible mail system. Not only for visually impaired, but also for people who are illiterate might have the benefit of this technique. The foremost crucial facet which will be thought of developing this technique is that the users of this technique does not have any basic information regarding the keyboard shortcuts used or wherever the keys are used for. All functions to be utilized in this technique are supposed to be easy mouse click operations creating the system very user friendly. This application proposes an android application, designed specifically for visually impaired individuals. This application provides a voice primarily based mailing service which provides them to browse and send mail on their own, without any guidance. The users ought to use certain keywords which can perform certain actions for e.g. Read, Send, and Compose Mail, Address Book etc. This EMAIL system is utilized by a visually handicapped person to access mails easily and with efficiency. Therefore reliance of visually impaired on others for his or her own activities associated with mail are often reduced.

Generally, visually challenged people are unable to read books as like as a normal person. They use Braille script for reading and writing which is one of the basic techniques for them to read books and to take notes. A survey has been taken in the year 2017, in which they declared that people were completely visually impaired is around 36 million and 25% of people affected with moderate visual impairment. in average. Nearly 200 million people got affected with complete visual impairment and 1.1 billion people with near vision impairment. Nearly 5 million of visually impaired people are women. Due to various problems faced by visually challenged people several hospitals were established for giving therapy for them. Around 1,54,000 hospitals are serving for the visually challenged peoples in India. According to care survey conducted by CAGR, the growth of hospitals for visually challenged will increase more than 100% i.e. 3,25,000 by the year 2035. Usually many devices have been developed to read books for visually challenged people but, these devices need of an external support. They are ineffective in use. In order to overcome this problem, our team has developed a device for visually challenged people to read books as like as a normal person.
