This article presents a literature review to identify the current knowledge of supply chains 4.0 from the sustainability perspective. Reviewed papers were classified in terms of objectives, results, and sustainability approaches. Additionally, a critical discussion with the main results and recommendations for further research was carried out. Manufacturing supply chains have been contemplated but agri-food supply chains and chains related to diversified cropping systems have been also considered. In this way, 54 articles were identified and revised, and were classified according to the three main aspects of sustainability: economic, social, and environmental. The classification of articles indicated that more attention has been paid to the environmental aspect in the industry 4.0 (I4.0) context in the literature, while the social aspect has been paid less attention. Finally, reference frameworks were identified, along with the I4.0 models, algorithms, heuristics, metaheuristics, and technologies, which have enabled sustainability in supply chains.

The trade between Yeongnam and Northwestern Kyushu coastal regions (YNKR) had occurred around the Korea Straits and could be understood as an exchange between fishermen of the two regions in the nature of costal regions. In this study, I examine the trade based on fishing tools in accordance with the characteristics of the two regions sharing the common lifestyle and fisheries. The kinds of fishing tools can be divided into harpoons and fish hooks. The harpoons can be divided into stone and bone types depending on raw materials, and stationary and separable types on using method, having subdivisions. The fish hooks can be divided into composite, singular, and opposite T-shaped types. These tools are categorized into three based on the aspect to the two regions: high similarity, high difference, and different composition. The fishing tools from the both regions are similar in broader perspective but they are also very different in details at the same time, as a result of selective acceptance of shared information within common concept as tools, rather than trade and exchange of actual tools. The chronology of YNKR fishing tools has three phases. In the I phase, the Yeongnam region is dominated by ground stone artifacts and bone harpoons by influence of the East Sea region and tradition of common knapped stone artifacts. In terms of Northwestern Kyushu region, only knapped fishing tools has been found for the I phase, so it is assumed that the knapped stone artifacts tradition is popular in that region. In the II phase, the diversification of subsistance is conspicuous related to propagation of the early agriculture in the Yeongnam region, and harpoons and hooks are only found from certain sites such as Dongsam-dong and Yokji-do. Unlike the Iphase, the ground stone spear shaped harpoons disappear, and knapped stone spear shaped harpoons become thinner. When it comes to the Northwestern Kyushu region, knapped stone fishing tools has been continuously used in broaden area. In addition, obsidian module harpoon, composite hook, and singular hook are started to be used. The III phase in Yeongnam region, the aspect of fisheries considerably declines according to the social aspect of south of Korean Peninsula such as increased mobility, demolition of villages, and simplification of tools. On the other hand, Northwestern Kyushu region has the largest range of sites as well as shows a dramatic increase in the number of fishing tools. In addition, so-called ‘Northwestern Kyushu fishing culture’ represented by the combination of obsidian module harpoon and composite fish hook is completed. In summary, there is active trade between YNKR, and the routes are multilinear in the I phase. In the II phase, the route becomes unilinear, and it is centered around specific areas such as Dongsam-dong and Yokji-do, which strengthen fisheries. In the III phase, there are few voyages from Yeongnam to Kyushe, while the opposite route is busy. These aspects appear to be related to overall cultural transition, according to the environmental and cultural situation of the two regions, in addition to the relationship with adjacent regions.

AbstractThe research was conducted in the Village of Laba, District of Masamba, Regency of North Luwu, South Sulawesi in order to determine: 1) The role of sago at the household level to the food diversification; and 2) The level of nutritional adequacy of household. The population of household as much as 533 heads of households and  sample as much as 30 households. Determination of the samples was done by simple random sampling method. Sago role analysis in terms of the social aspect is described qualitativey, and to determine the level of nutritional adequacy used food consumption analysis by using Software Nutri Survey. The result showed that 1. The role of sago in terms of the social aspect, although it is still regarded as a traditional food but always served with a variety of various processed sago (kapurung, dange, bagea, sagu lempeng, ongol-ongol, jepa, sinoli, cendol) at both the household and when there are small and big party (celebration, circumcision, aqiqah, weddings). 2. The level of nutritional adequacy of respondents looks at the category level is less. This is because each of the households are different in consumption patterns. Each member of the family in a household there who do not eat processed (sago) with a combination of side dishes the amount that should be.Keywords: the role of sago; diversification  of  food; supporting nutrition.

The potential value of green buildings is generally attributed to attractiveness for occupiers due to the environmental aspect which brings an impact to the social action, which eventually influences the economic aspect. These three aspects of sustainability (environment, social and economic), which adopted from Concentric Ring model contained various attributes. These attributes may or may not have significant influence among them, thus act as an indicator in impacting the green commercial office building’s value. Accordingly, it is substantial to identify which attributes of green commercial office property have significant relationship of sustainability and to what level of influence among them, including the role of social aspect as a mediator between environment and economic aspects of sustainability. In order to analyse the hypothesized relationships, this study collects quantitative data from the property holders and also end users (tenants and owner-users) of green commercial office building, as they experience the benefits of sustainability in the building. Data were analysed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 and AMOS 19.0, respectively. The results show that all hypothesized relationships between environmental, social and economic aspects were supported and indicated significant relationships among them, hence become a fundamental of green commercial office property valuation framework development.

Batik has been acknowledged as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity of Indonesia based on UNESCO in 2009 and this asset is considerably becoming the prospect to overcome global market in Asia. In the other side, the global competition can only be encountered by sustainably developing the internal industry. Therefore, this research elaborates sustainable supply chain performance assessment and also the improvement framework applied in Batik industry with MTO-MTS typology. For fulfilling the provisions of sustainability, the economic, environmental, and social is strictly important to be involved in. Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) is a reference model of assessment considering five attributes to be measured and implemented as the perspective of economic assessment. Employee’s welfare and liquid waste assessment are then becoming the method to measure the social and environmental aspect. This resulted score as: Reliability is 89.24%, Responsiveness for MTS is 96% for MTO is 62%, Cost is 83.32%, Agility is 100%, and the Assets Management is 79.63%. For the social aspect, the score of parameter Health Insurance is 100%, Safety Tools is 100%, Basic Allowance is 70%, Annual Allowance is 100%, Appropriate Work Hours is 67%, and the Reward is 70%. For the environmental aspect, the temperature is 100%, pH 62.0%, BOD 100%, COD 64.7%, and TSS 7.4%. The improvement framework is also proposed by using Customer Order Decoupling Point (CODP) that results the increased performance in the Responsiveness attribute in the MTO process as much as 8.25%.

This paper introduces the Teachers’ Research Exchange (T-REX), an online community of practice that is currently being deployed on a pilot basis nationwide in Ireland as a response to the "research-practice gap". The system includes collaborative, educational, and technical components. The technical aspect is the social networking and sharing platform for educational research stakeholders of all kinds. Tools for collaboration and learning available on the platform are designed for a range of users from different professional backgrounds. Crucially, these resources are complemented by a programme of structured collaborative activities to foster a novel community of practice involving pre-service teachers, practising teachers, researchers in higher education, and other educational research stakeholders. Several examples of current use are outlined to illustrate the potential for this model to support collaboration between otherwise siloed professional groups.

Palavras-chave: atividade garimpeira, minerais industriais, minerais gemasABSTRACT: The systemic analysis of the exploration of pegmatitic minerals, for collections, gems or industrials, indicatesfour interlinked variables. In the social aspect, the diggings work relationships are usually based in the profitsharing of an unstable production and that doesn’t guarantee fixed salary to the prospector. In the economicalambit, it is pointed out the scenery of corruptions and frauds that involve the exit of the gems of digging. Inthe environmental aspect, the inadequate dispositions of the reject piles are accelerating by the wearing downof the rivers in that area. In the politic-environmental criterion, it is observed a population characterized bythe poverty because the dig ging (garimpo as Brasilian popular name) doesn’t generate any benefit for thecommunity. A new posture of the digging, providing the production of industrial minerals associated with thegem-minerals exploration represents a necessary step to lessen the exposed problems for those variables. Keywords: digging, industrial minerals, gem-minerals
