University Sumatra Utara (USU) has an Academic Information System to record all academic transactions from students digitally including student attendance data. Attendance recording is still entered manually into the system from the presence system that uses paper media. In this research a prototype attendance system is carried out that can be directly entered into the system without using paper media. Attendance system is built by using Arduino to read and collect attendance data from the fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, an application is developed to synchronize the data from Arduino to the Academic Information System of USU. From the test result, it is obtained that the accuracy and the sensitivity of the sensor is 90%.

Lecturer Academic Information System (SIAD) is an academic service facility that lecturers can use to accommodate and manage teachers' activities, including lectures, assignments, communication, and discussions with students.  However, lecturers' obstacles in supporting educational processes include the obstacles of leak of features and items/ service forums in the academic portal /SIAD online. This research aims to find the influence of selecting the system, motivation, and utilization of academic information system lecturers (SIAD) on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, University of Prima Indonesia. The study will test the variables both partially and simultaneously. Samples were taken from lecturers recorded in the management study program of 60 people. The test result obtained a calculated value of F (17,866) > F table (2.76) and a probability of significance of 0.000 < 0.05, it was concluded that simultaneously H0 was rejected, which means the selection, motivation, and utilization of SIAD had a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Prima Indonesia Medan. The result of the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained an adjusted R Square value of 0.462.

Each university has different academic requirements It depends on academic poilicies of each University so that International Women University (IWU) that have purpose to be a centre development technology which competitive, dynamic and inovativ .They can’t manage information well because not been able to take technology properly .Especially at managing student score, student attendance and e-learning for lecturer and student. Of course it will affect toward information and data for IWU stakeholder.We used prototype method as development method.And structured method as approach method. PHP as programming software and MySQL as database to build this Academic Information System.Academic web-based information system created to handle academic problems at IWU especially at student score, student attendance and e-learning for lecturer and student. And advice for next researcher are repairing at interface design ,added application for managing registration for thesis, and application for managing alumnus at this university.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi sebuah Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang mempunyai database akademik yang real, sehingga memudahkan bagian akademik dalam mengelola nilai sesuai sistem yang ada serta dapat menghasilkan informasi yang akurat dan bermutu untuk menunjang proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Sistem Informasi Akademik dalam studi ini dikembangkan dengan metode RAD, yaitu metode pengembangan sistem informasi yang membutuhkan waktu yang relatif singkat. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi yang normal biasanya memerlukan waktu minimal 60 hari, namun dengan menggunakan metode RAD, sistem dapat diselesaikan dalam waktu 30-60 hari. Tujuan utama menggunakan metode RAD adalah memberikan suatu sistem yang dapat memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan dari user. Perancangan Dan Usability Evaluation Prototipe Sistem Informasi Akademik Menggunakan Metode RAD akan menggunakan konsep sistem database server yang mempunyai arsitektur Multitier yang terdiri dari Interface, Database Server dan Logic Server, sehingga sangat membantu dalam pengembangan sistem selanjutnya apabila terjadi perubahan regulasi atau aturan pada Akademi Ilmu Komputer (AIKOM) Ternate.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Akademik, Rapid Application Development (RAD)Abstract: The objectives of this study are to develop and evaluate an Academic Information System Based on RAD that has a real academic database, thus facilitating the academic part in managing values according to the existing system and can produce accurate and quality information to support the process of implementing education. Academic Information System Using Rad (Rapid Application Development) developed with the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, RAD is a method of developing information systems that require a relatively short time. In the development of a normal information system, it usually requires a minimum of 60 days, but by using the RAD method, the system can be completed within 30-60 days. The main purpose of using the RAD method is to provide a system that can meet the expectations and needs of the user. Design and Usability Evaluation of the Academic Information System Prototype Using the RAD Method will use a database server system concept that has a Multitier architecture consisting of Interface, Database Server and Logic Server, so it is very helpful in developing the next system if there is a change in regulation or rules at the Computer Science Academy (AIKOM) Ternate.Keywords: Academic Information System, Rapid Aplication Development (RAD)

In the world of information technology has changed the lifestyle in the aspect of our lives especially in the educational world. E-Raport is an academic information system used to input web-based student value data. The current value data input system is a benchmark for the creation of quality output and able to compete with other schools. One of the benchmarks that can be the competitiveness for other schools is the result of student learning assessments that are handled by each class. Problems that occur in the input of the value of Raport at SDN Sukanagara is currently still a manual that is the value of Raport recorded in the book Raport, so it takes a long time and a lot of energy needed. Research has the purpose of designing a value information system that facilitates the checking, recording and reporting of the computerized value of the students. Computerized Raport value reports can minimize errors in student data processing. This WEB based online raport is very easy data information and can be accessed anytime and anywhere, the system design works to insert and save value Report data and attendance and display info from school. The system uses data collection methods such as interviews, library studies, and system design, which are context diagrams, and prototypes. The information system of online Raport SDN Sukanagara is expected to be able to bring positive impact to the educational world, especially for SDN Sukanagara in the development of information technology applied in the world of education.

Abstract: A system of data input and the grade of students who still use manual way namely by filling form of data on student and the grades of students in the form of paper sheet done by administration and teacher. Sistem informasi pembayaran saat ini sudah menggunakan sistem berbasis modernisasi atau online, yang sangat dibutuhkan pada era globalisasi ini. Peranan transaksi online menjadi sangat penting bagi masyarakat modern. Seperti E-Commerce yang menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan form menu konfirmasi pembayaran pada sistem pembayaran online perguruan tinggi, dari sistem yang sebelumnya masih berjalan manual atau tidak online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan form menu konfirmasi pembayaran online guna meningkatkan pelayanan kepada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi dalam hal memberikan informasi pembayaran yang tepat dan akurat kepada mahasiswa, serta memberikan akses mudah bagi mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Raharja dalam hal konfirmasi pembayaran. Selain dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi mahasiswa, sistem ini juga dapat memberikan kemudahan untuk bagian keuangan dalam pengecekan transaksi yang sudah masuk. Sistem yang diimplementasikan pada Perguruan Tinggi Raharja untuk form menu konfirmasi pembayaran ini ialah website goplus. Website goplus ini dibangun dengan menggunakan yii2 framework, dimana sudah banyak diterapkan sebelumnya pada sistem informasi akademik lainnya di Perguruan Tinggi Raharja. Pada yii2 framework terdapat fitur CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) yang dapat mempermudah dalam membuat suatu form.The current payment information systems already use-based systems modernization or online, which is much needed in this era of globalization. The role of online transactions is becoming very important for modern society. Like the E-Commerce as a reference in the development of the payment confirmation menu form on the college online payment system, from a system that previously still runs manually or not online. The purpose of this research is to implement online payment confirmation menu form to enhance services to college students in terms of providing payment information which is precise and accurate to college students, as well as providing easy access for students College Raharja in terms of payment confirmation. In addition to providing convenience for students, the system is also able to provide convenience to the financial section in checking of transactions already entered. The system is implemented on College Raharja to form this payment confirmation menu is goplus website. Goplus website was built using the yii2 framework, which already implemented earlier in other academic information system in College Raharja. In the yii 2 framework there are features of the CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) which can make it easier to create a form.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of academic information systems in improving the quality of higher education implementation in PGRI STKIP Bangkalan, and the extent to which the policies of implementing higher education before and after the use of information systems and how satisfaction is felt by students towards academic information systems at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, named STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad.The study was conducted by conducting a survey of users of the internet-based academic information system (Siakad STKIP PGRI Bangkalan), namely lecturers, students and employees with the method of observation and conducting in-depth interviews to obtain as much information as possible from all respondents/informants. The number of informants was 5 people consisting of the chairman of STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, Vice Chairman I, Head of BAAK and two students who had experience in their respective fields of work, knew deeply and had many roles in the process of using information systems.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that with the use of the information system/ STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad which is one of the facilities for the smooth activities of the teaching and learning process, it proved to provide convenience, many benefits and benefits that greatly support the duties of serving lecturers, students and outsiders requiring. This is evidenced by the support of the support of lecturers and students, capacity, namely the ability of employees to process data and value, namely the benefits felt by lecturers, employees and students as well as outside parties in need.
