 KPPN Medan II is one of the government organization units at the Ministry of Finance. Where leaders and employees who work at KPPN Medan II always carry out official trips between cities and outside the city. With these conditions, making SPPD documents experiencing the intensity of official travel activities carried out by employees of KPPN Medan II can be said frequently. So that in making SPPD in KPPN Medan II is still using the manual method that is recording through Microsoft Word which in the sense is less effective and efficient. In naming employees who get official assignments, officers manually entering employee data that receives official travel letters are prone to being lost because data is manually written. The web-based SPPD application is built by applying this prototyping method which is expected to facilitate SPPD KPPN Medan II management officers in making SPPD that is effective, efficient, accurate, time-saving, and not prone to losing SPPD data of KPPN Medan II employees who will has made official trips due to the existence of a special database to accommodate all SPPD files.

Abstrak : Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintah yang ada pada kota ternate pada bidang Kelautan dan Perikanan, dalam mengelola dan media menyimpan informasi yang berhubungan dengan data, profil dan kegiatan pegawai masih dilakukan secara manual. Pendataan secara manual dianggap tidak efektif serta membutuhkan waktu, di saat melakukan pengecekan dan pencarian data-data pegawai tersebut harus membuka satu persatu Arsip Pegawai. Web authoring is the process of developing Web pages. The Web development process requires you to use software to create functional pages that will work on the Internet. Adding Web functionality is creating specific components within a Web page that do something. Adding links, rollover graphics, and interactive multimedia items to a Web page creates are examples of enhanced functionality. This chapter demonstrates Web based authoring techniques using Macromedia Dreamweaver. The focus is on adding Web functions to pages generated from Macromedia Fireworks and to overview creating Web pages from scratch using Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver and Fireworks are professional Web applications. Using professional Web software will benefit you tremendously. There are other ways to create Web pages using applications not specifically made to create Web pages. These applications include Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. The use of Microsoft applications for Web page development is not covered in this chapter. However, I do provide steps on how to use these applications for Web page authoring within the appendix of this text. If you feel that you are more comfortable using the Microsoft applications or the Macromedia applications simply aren’t available to you yet, follow the same process for Web page conceptualization and content creation and use the programs available to you. You should try to get Web page development skills using Macromedia Dreamweaver because it helps you expand your software skills outside of basic office applications. The ability to create a Web page using professional Web development software is important to building a high-end computer skills set. The main objectives of this chapter are to get you involved in some technical processes that you’ll need to create the Web portfolio. Focus will be on guiding you through opening your sliced pages, adding links, using tables, creating pop up windows for content and using layers and timelines for dynamic HTML. The coverage will not try to provide a complete tutorial set for Macromedia Dreamweaver, but will highlight essential techniques. Along the way you will get pieces of hand coded action scripts and JavaScripts. You can decide which pieces you want to use in your own Web portfolio pages. The techniques provided are a concentrated workflow for creating Web pages. Let us begin to explore Web page authoring.

Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) have a very important role as a driver of the economy in Indonesia because SMIs can function as a provider of employment for a number of people who are not accommodated in the formal sector. SMIs also contributes to the formation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and as a source of foreign exchange. However, SMIs experienced obstacles in the fields of marketing, business networks, and information technology. In realizing an independent and developing SMIs, a supporting media is needed which can later be useful as a tool to introduce SMIs to the wider community and align it with other business actors. In addition, the government also needs a media that can be used for licensing data collection, taxes, and as a tool to monitor the development of SMIs. In this case a geographic and web-based geographic information system has been built to meet the need for information on SMIs in the city of Mataram. It is hoped that this system can help the community and the government to find out the information needed easily, quickly, and accurately. Based on the results of the Mean Opinion Score, it shows that the average rating of respondents of website users on the system agrees and strongly agrees to agree worth 67.50%. While the average rating of respondents of mobile users to the system agree and strongly agree is worth 78.33%.

In this period of constrained economic conditions, this study initiates an analysis of the critical success factors in the implementation of World Wide Web-based communities in the non-profit sector, focusing on communities of challenged citizens who have mental health conditions in the City of New York.  Non-profit organizations in New York depend ever more upon the technology of the Web to help disabled members in the city, as the disruption from the September 11 disaster continues to impact social services. Though investment in technology is limited in the non-profit sector, the preliminary analysis of this study imputes that implementation of community networks that service rehabilitating members of society is facilitated by distinct enabling success factors of cohesion, effectiveness, help, language, relationship and self-regulation in the innovation of the supporting Web sites.  The analysis contributes insight into the dynamics of communities on the Web that is applicable in an international context.  This study furnishes a new framework to research Web-based communities in the non-profit sector.

This project explores the power of lines to tell stories. For architects, lines are elemental devices: they catalyze and structure our ability to describe space. But can they describe time and experience? The following case study explores this question in depth while tracking the historical expansion of suburban life in San Antonio, Texas. The research focuses on five roads, re-imagining them as a series of concentric timelines that stretch from the city's historical center to its suburban periphery. To date the multi-disciplinary team—led by architect Ian Caine with collaboration from a historian and an urban geographer—has utilized three distinct media to represent the chronological growth of San Antonio: 1) a large two-dimensional timeline that the team exhibited in a museum gallery, 2) a video-based spatial-temporal narrative that simulated the experience of driving through the city, and 3) a web-based interactive timeline. 1 This article establishes the merits of the first two approaches—which are both complete—before speculating about the potential of the web-based version to recast the timeline as a narrative device capable of illuminating the complex relationship between time, space and experience in the contemporary city.

In planning the procurement of goods and services the government city of Tangerang, will be compiled in a budget plan regional work units (RKA-on education) allocated from the Budget Revenue and Expenditure for Fiscal Year 2013, the compilation takes into account Standard Price of Goods. The problem faced now is the drafting, discussion and Standard Storage Unit Price still use the document to be signed by the Drafting Team and the Mayor of Tangerang as authorizing the Mayor's decision, and the data is stored in a file on Ms. Excel 2007. This proved to be less effective and time efficiency, especially when searching required by the standard price of sector departments. And waste paper for printing the books for sector departments in the form of a report each fiscal year. To overcome these problems were created Standards Information System using the web-based Goods Price CodeIgniter 2.0 framework and data storage using MySQL. With the construction of this system is expected to boost the quality of information transmission standard price of goods in the city of Tangerang.

<p><em>Competition in a government organization that has a position always causes negative friction. The source of all this is due to the absence of bureaucrats' policies in carrying out professional, efficient, neutral and honest duties and responsibilities. Implementation in the bureaucratic system is not spared from the view of the public who know that people who occupy bureaucratic positions always serve the community and become an intermediary between political parties and the government. It has become commonplace for bureaucrats to always use a system of mutualism, as well as mutual relations without harming one party to the other. In giving positions from superiors (patrons) to subordinates (clients), it is always included with a high desire and marukh that someone who has a high position then he must also balance with a broad and high power as well. Therefore the recruitment of bureaucratic members in the government does not always look at the functional side of a person, but because of the support of his subordinates. There must be a term that is always fixed in the mind and mind of a high-ranking bureaucratic official, that the stronger a person's power is always marked by the number of subordinates or staff he has especially in the city of Padang. The method used in this article is the writing method with literacy studies sourced from written sources, in the form of journals, articles, magazines, internet, literature or documents that are relevant to the problem under study. The results of the study with this literature study method are to analyze the relationship between patrons and clients towards government bureaucratization with the dimensions of parkinsonism or classic disease that cannot be overcome or eliminated which will have an impact on the wider community.</em></p><p><em> </em></p>
