This research aimed to examine the theoretical model that explains the relations among learning climate, thinking patterns, and curiosity on academic performance. This research was a non-experimental research with 1,000 respondents from State University of Surabaya, Indonesia. They came from 20 departments, consisting of 324 men and 676 women with a mean age of 19.81 years. Data were collected using a questionnaire, including inventory of learning climate, thinking patterns, and curiosity. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that the model was compatible with the data. The examination also showed the effect of the learning climate on thinking patterns, the influence of thinking patterns on curiosity, the influence of the learning climate on curiosity, and the influence of curiosity on academic performance. It is concluded that learning climate, thinking pattern, and curiosity play an important role in academic performance. Thus, the quality of students can be improved if curiosity is cultivated and reflective thinking patterns are formed. This requires serious efforts, both in policy and practice, to build a learning climate for the growth of students' thinking and curiosity. Keywords: academic performance, epistemic curiosity, learning climate, structural equation modelling, thinking pattern.

The student recreation center (SRC) promotes quality of life among college students. Grounded in self-determination theory, this study examined the relationship between SRC use and subjective vitality using a sample of 540 students at a large state university in the United States. Results of structural equation modeling indicated that use of fitness and group sport facilities both had a positive relationship with subjective vitality, which were mediated by competence need satisfaction, relatedness need satisfaction, and perception of physical health. Implications of the study findings were discussed.

Abstract Bridges are an important part of a road network system, so they need to be kept functioning properly. Bridge preservation is one of the important and fundamental types of handling to maintain the condition of the bridge in good condition and restore the condition of the bridge to its original capacity so that it can serve effectively. The purpose of this study is to identify the contribution of the influence of factors and variables that affect the quality of the implementation of bridge preservation. Data analysis was based on the results of a survey of respondents who came from service users, service providers and the public who had been involved in implementing bridge preservation. The analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling method. The results showed that the implementation of bridge preservation factors and variables that influence the implementation of bridge preservation influence on the achievement of the quality of the bridge preserva-tion of 60.6%. The contribution of the influence of the factors that affect the quality of the implementation of the bridge preservation is the human resource factor contributing to the effect of 89.4%, a material factor of 81.8%, a method factor of 80.7%, a tool factor of 68.7%, a factor financial contribution of 54.0%, and environmental factors contributed an influence of 53.1%. To realize good quality achievements, the parties involved in implementing bridge preservation must pay attention to 6 factors and 33 important variables to be able to support these quality achievements. Keywords: bridge preservation; Structural Equation Modelling; influence contribution; quality achievement.  Abstrak Jembatan merupakan bagian yang penting dalam suatu sistem jaringan jalan, sehingga perlu dijaga agar tetap berfungsi dengan baik. The present era of eGovernance is considered as technology-driven which enhance productivity along with amplified failure rates. The process, citizens, technology, and resources are the pillars of eGovernance but the emphasis is only upon technology which postulates for the development of updated integrated eGovernance model for accomplishing future requirements. Objectives:The present study endeavors to discover the diverse vital constructs to develop an integrated eGovernance model to augment efficiency and social influence. Methods: The NeSDA and OSI methodology are taken as a basis to extract constructs of eGovernance model and attained constructs and relative relationships ascertained through Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (EFA and CFA). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is applied to develop and propose an integrated eGovernance model to augment efficiency and social influence. Findings: The empirical outcome illustrate the significant positive impact of eleven accumulated constructs on Intention to Use and Service Quality of the eGovernance initiative which ultimately augments efficiency and social influence of eGovernance initiatives. Novelty: The proposed model makes a significant contribution by integrating vital constructs on the basis of empirical outcomes and applies them to the context of the eGovernance. The suggested model will guide the policymakers and developers of eGovernance systems to focus on identified constructs to maintain and enhance efficiency and social influence. Keywords: Structural equation modeling; intension to use; social influence;competence; transparency; efficiency

entrepreneurship is considered able to stimulate regional development and economic growth and can encourage the growth of innovation and supported by the development of education. However, with this statement, of course, each country or university has a different strategy in shaping a strategy to improve the quality of entrepreneurs born. This research was conducted in the environment of Medan State University with the population of Students of Medan State University, Sampling techniques using saturated sample method with a sample count of 126 people. The data obtained was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Techniques operated through the AMOS20 program. The results showed that there is a direct influence of entrepreneurial experience, Entrepreneurial Motivation and Organizational Culture on Entrepreneurial Behavior through Entrepreneurial Education

<pre>The information on the health status of an individual is often gathered based on a health survey. Patient assessment on the quality of hospital services is important as a reference in improving the service so that it can increase a patient satisfaction and patient loyalty. The concepts of health service are often involve multivariate factors with multidimensional sructure of corresponding factors. One of the methods that can be used to model such these variables is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is a multivariate method that incorporates ideas from regression, path-analysis and factor analysis. A Bayesian approach to SEM may enable models that reflect hypotheses based on complex theory. Bayesian SEM is used to construct the model for describing the patient loyalty at <em>Puskesmas</em> in Padang City. The convergence test with the history of trace plot, density plot and the model consistency test were performed with three different prior types. Based on Bayesian SEM approach, it is found that the quality of service and patient satisfaction significantly related to the patient loyalty.</pre>

The present paper reexamines the psychometric properties of the Quality Perception Questionnaire (QPQ), an Italian survey instrument measuring patients’ perceptions of the quality of a recent hospital admission experience, in a sample of 4400 patients (Mage = 56.42 years; SD = 19.71 years, 48.8% females). The 14-item survey measures four factors: satisfaction with medical doctors, nursing staff, auxiliary staff, and hospital structures. First, we tested two models using a confirmatory factor analysis (structural equation modeling): a four orthogonal factor and a four oblique factor model. The SEM fit indices and the χ² difference suggested the acceptance of the second model. We then did a simulation using a bootstrap with 1000 replications. Results confirmed the four oblique factor solution. Third, we tested whether there were significant differences with respect to age or sex. The multivariate general linear model showed no significant differences in the factors with respect to sex or age.

People with intellectual disability (ID) and extensive support needs experience poorer quality of life than their peers whose disability is not as severe. Many of them live in residential settings that limit community participation and prevent them from exercising control over their lives. This work analyzes the extent to which professional practices are aimed at promoting the right to community living for people with ID and extensive support needs, as well as the rights that are particularly linked to it, such as the right to habilitation and rehabilitation and the right to privacy. A specific questionnaire was designed and administered to 729 adults with intellectual disability (M = 37.05; DT = 12.79) living in different settings (family home, residential facilities and group homes). Measurement and structural models were estimated using exploratory structural equation modeling. Results obtained reveal that people with extensive support needs receive less support in terms of guaranteeing their right to independent living and privacy, especially when they live in disability-related services. This study highlights the need to implement and monitor, using valid and reliable indicators, mesosystem strategies that guarantee the right to live and participate in the community, especially for individuals with ID and extensive support needs.
