The design and implementation of the MVB conformance test system is of great significance in both professional theory and practical application. Conformance test for MVB, mainly to determine whether the MVB equipment IUT is consistent with the MVB protocol standard requirements in the TCN standard. The conformance test of MVB equipment IUT covers most of the contents of the RTP real-time protocol such as the physical layer, link layer, network layer, transport layer and application layer. This subject will analyse and study the consistency test of the MVB physical layer.

The pairwise comparison (PC) matrix is often used to manifest human judgments, and it has been successfully applied in the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). As a PC matrix is formed by making paired reciprocal comparisons, symmetry is a striking characteristic of a PC matrix. It is this simple but powerful means of resolving multicriteria decision-making problems that is the basis of AHP; however, in practical applications, human judgments may be inconsistent. Although Saaty’s rule for the consistency test is commonly accepted, there is evidence that those so-called “acceptable” PC matrices may not be ordinally consistent, which is a necessary condition for a PC matrix to be accepted. We propose an ordinal consistency indicator called SDR (standard deviation of ranks), derive the upper bound of the SDR, suggest a threshold for a decision-maker to assess whether the ordinal consistency of a PC matrix is acceptable, and reveal a surprising fact that the degree of ordinal inconsistency of a small PC matrix may be more serious than a large one. We made a comparative analysis with some other indicators. Experimental results showed that the ordinal inconsistency measured by the SDR is invariant under heterogeneous judgment measurements with a varied spectrum of scales, and that the SDR is superior to the two compared indicators. Note that the SDR not only works for a multiplicative PC matrix but can also be used for additive and fuzzy PC matrices.

AbstractTo retrospectively analyze the use of artificial pneumoperitoneum in CT scans, to explore its operation methods and technical points, and to lay the foundation for the widespread application of artificial pneumoperitoneum in CT. A total of 331 patients who underwent artificial pneumoperitoneum with CT angiography from January 1, 2013, to November 1, 2019, were recruited. All patients underwent standardized artificial pneumoperitoneum in the horizontal, left and right lateral, and prone positions during CT thin-layer scans of the abdomen and 3D reconstruction. Taking the surgical results as the gold standard, and using kappa test to verify the consistency of surgical results and imaging results. In all 331 patients, 43 patients had a normal peritoneal space, and 288 patients had an abnormal peritoneal space. And only 22 patients developed complications of subcutaneous emphysema, accounting for 6.6% of all 331 patients. In terms of the postoperative results, 28 were normal, and 303 were abnormal. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CT diagnosis of abdominal adhesions using artificial pneumoperitoneum were 100%, 95.04%, and 95.46%, respectively. According to the Kappa consistency test, the imaging diagnosis from the CT scan with artificial pneumoperitoneum had a high consistency with the surgical results (kappa = 0.796, P < 0.05). The technique of artificial pneumoperitoneum CT is safe, reliable, highly practical, and proficient for obtaining good imaging results. It provides a good imaging basis for the diagnosis of intra-abdominal diseases, especially intra-abdominal adhesions.

In view of the needs of the use of spoken English discourse markers in different situations under cross-cultural communication, it is necessary to standardize the language use of communicators and give full play to the pragmatic value of spoken English discourse markers. By establishing the pragmatic function evaluation model of spoken English discourse markers in the context of smoking cessation and tobacco control from the perspective of smoking cessation discourse, English communicative conversation in the context of smoking cessation and tobacco control is studied in this paper. Based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and starting from four layers including the target layer, criterion layer, index layer and scheme layer, this paper designs an evaluation model of pragmatic functional value of spoken English discourse markers from the perspective of smoking cessation discourse through hierarchy theory model construction, judgment matrix construction, hierarchical single ranking and consistency test, hierarchical total ranking and consistency test. The model is used in the context of communication, language training and language assessment. The model is suitable for simulating communicative behavior, language ability training and language ability assessment in smoking cessation and tobacco control scenarios. It can improve the accuracy of the use of discourse markers, facilitate the reasonable choice of discourse markers in special communication scenarios, ensure the efficiency of English communication, and highlight the unique value of discourse markers in different communication scenarios.

The study determined the teachers’ perception of principals’ adversity quotient as correlate of their job performance. There are four research questions guided the study. A correlational survey research design is adopted for the study. The population of the study consisted 4,370 teachers in the public schools. A sample of 875 teachers is drawn using a multistage sampling procedure. Two sets of developed instrument titled Principals’ Adversity Quotient Scale (PAQS) and Teachers’ Job Performance Scale (TJPS) which are validated by three experts are used for data collection. The instruments are face validated by three experts and subjected to internal consistency test using Cronbach alpha method which yielded 0.85, 0.78, 0.75 and 0.74 for the four sections of PAQS with overall coefficient of 0.72 while 0.84 was obtained for the TJPQ. Pearson’ Product Moment Correlation was used to analyze data for the study. Findings of the study indicated that a substantial positive relationship exists between teachers’ perception of principals’ control over adversity, principals’ ownership of the outcome of adversity, principals’ endurance and their job performance. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that secondary school principals in the state should constantly predict and take charge of difficult situations and foster adaptive preparedness in order to stimulate teachers’ sense of confidence which will stimulate their job performance. Principals should as much as possible try not to allow difficult situations in the school to extend or “reach into” and affect other areas of the school and beyond. They should learn to put difficult situations under control by keeping the reach at bay. This can be essential in inspiring teachers towards improved job performance. KEYWORDS: Adversity, Adversity quotient, job performance, job accomplishment, principals’ functions and responsibility

AbstractCalibration of the gain and digital conversion factor of an EMCCD is necessary for accurate photon counting. We present a new method to quickly calibrate multiple gain settings of an EMCCD camera. Acquiring gain-series calibration data and analyzing the resulting images with the EMCCD noise model more accurately estimates the gain response of the camera. Furthermore, we develop a method to compare the results from different calibration approaches. Gain-series calibration outperforms all other methods in this self-consistency test.
