Proper doctor-patient communication produces therapeutic benefit on the patient. The arts and tips of communication skill can change the feelings of a patient forever. Good communication skill should have verbal, non-verbal and para-verbal components. Unfortunately, many postgraduate doctors of our country cannot satisfy the demand of their patients due to lack of training on communication skills. In this paper, a model for communication skill training has been proposed for newly graduated doctors which includes formal lecture, video demonstration, role play and evaluation by creating different scenarios. The selected time for communication skill training would be the time gap between publication of result of final professional MBBS and starting the internship training. With increasing demand of creating more communicative physicians, implementation and further recommendations on communication skill training for new graduates are encouraged.Bangladesh Journal of Medical Education Vol.9(2) 2018: 32-36

Patient satisfaction is something that very important for doctor. Patient satisfaction it’s not just about physic recovery, but also mental recovery. In melasma patients, who often have problem to deal with their self because of their condition, a good communication from their doctor can help them to relieve their confidence and also build up their mental. Because of that, doctor should have good communication skill in order to fulfil their duties. Doctor and patient communication is the part of doctor professionality that determine doctor competency. This competency is made for improving doctor skills, so they can be a good doctor. Moreover, to make sure the patients understand their treatment, doctor should educate them. This communication and education can be different for each melasma patients depending on their condition and needs. So, doctor should know the best method to communicate with patients and to educate them effectively. The methods can make patients tell their problem honestly and make them trust their doctor.

The title of this research was “The Use of Powtoon as Media to Enhance EFL students’ English Skill”. This study aims to explain that the use of Powtoon as media could enhance EFL students' English skill such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and the benefit of Powtoon as learning media.  Technology was growing fast. However, the teacher was still could not adapt to technology in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the lack of good learning media makes students found some difficulties in understanding the material. The research design used the library research method that collected data from some articles, journals, books, and library resources. Based on the findings, Powtoon could be a solution to enhance EFL students' English skills to have good communication skill in the learning process. Powtoon has many beneficial features such text, music, animation, characters, and audio-visual for EFL students in enhancing their English skills, such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

ABSTRAK Seorang pembimbing yang handal adalah faktor yang penting bagi keberhasilan sebuah bisnis start-up. Mereka harus menguasai keahlian komunikasi, keahlian presentasi yang menginspirasi serta mampu mengoptimalkan potensi dari bimbingannya. Program pengembangan komunitas ini mengembangkan kemampuan pembimbing dalam mengasah keahlian pebisnis start-up. Metode penyampaian dimulai dengan konsep diri yang positif. Ke dua adalah menjelaskan konsep “Moment of Truth” dengan mengasah kemampuan komunikasi yang efektif. Bagian ke tiga adalah latihan empati dan asertif. Pada bagian akhir setiap peserta melakukan praktek melakukan presentasi de depan audiens dengan menggunakan semua keahlian yang telah diajarkan dan para peserta menunjukkan performansi yang menggembirakan. Mereka telah menunjukkan kemampuan untuk memberikan presentasi yang berdampak dan menginspirasi.  ABSTRACT  A coach for a startup business needs to have a good communication skill, and a good presentation skill, in order to unleash the utmost potential of their counselees. This community development project is developing the capacity building of coaches to be able to optimize their skills in giving training and coaching sessions to their counselees. The process starts with the initial phase of Understanding the self-concept. The second step is to improve the moment of truth through the communication skill. The third is mastering empathy and using assertiveness. And the final step is practicing in front of the audience using all the skills taught and practiced in the program. Based on obsertvation, visually, verbally and through the participant’s workbook, the participants are showing a promising improvement in delivering presentation. After the completion of the training, the participants show the ability to conduct impactful and inspiring presentation

The general design of HLA based communication command equipment operation simulation system is given to solve the difficulty of large equipment operation training. Firstly, the simulation system and its constitution are introduced. Secondly, two different federation runtime structures including single federation basic structure and multiple federations structure are designed according to system architecture. Thirdly, information interaction mode of training and FOM are concluded. Finally, two kinds of system application modes consisting of communication skill training and communication command training are presented.
