Abstract: Periodic salary increases are very important given to Civil Servants who have reached the group working period, which is every two years and if they have fulfilled the requirements based on laws and regulations. Regional Personnel Agency of Asahan Regency still uses word processing software, such as Microsoft Office Word to process decree of periodic salary increase. This allows delays to generate of decrees and periodic salary increases reports. In this research using UML as a system modeling language, MySQL as a database, and PHP as a programming language. The results of this research are electronic applications of periodic salary increases that can be used by staffing Information and Documentation staff easily and more efficiently to generate decrees and periodic salary increase reports. Whereas the Civil Servants can input data and upload requirement for periodic salary increases without the need to come to the Regional Personnel Agency of Asahan Regency.            Keywords: Periodic Salary Increases, Electronic Application, MySQL, PHP  Abstrak: Kenaikan gaji berkala sangat penting diberikan kepada Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang telah mencapai masa kerja golongan yaitu setiap dua tahun sekali dan apabila telah memenuhi persyaratan berdasarkan peraturan perundang – undangan. Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kabupaten Asahan masih menggunakan software pengolah kata, seperti Microsoft Office Word untuk proses surat keputusan kenaikan gaji berkala. Hal ini memungkinkan terjadinya keterlambatan untuk menghasilkan surat keputusan dan laporan kenaikan gaji berkala. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan UML sebagai bahasa pemodelan sistem, MySQL sebagai database, dan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrogramannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi elektronik kenaikan gaji berkala (E-KGB) yang dapat digunakan oleh staf Informasi dan Dokumentasi Kepegawaian dengan mudah dan lebih efisiensi untuk menghasilkan surat keputusan dan laporan kenaikan gaji berkala. Sedangkan Pegawai Negeri Sipil dapat melakukan input data dan upload syarat kenaikan gaji berkala tanpa perlu datang ke Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kabupaten Asahan. Kata kunci: Kenaikan Gaji Berkala, Aplikasi Elektronik, MySQL, PHP

Koperasi Kampar Mitra Mandiri merupakan usaha yang bergerak dibidang simpan pinjam, dimana saat ini proses pencacatan masih menggunakan Microsoft office excel sehingga data-datanya belom bisa menyimpan secara database, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem informasi simpan pinjam, dengan manfaat yaitu agar memudahkan dalam proses pengolahan data nasabah. Untuk mengetahui kebutuhan sistem akan di aplikasikan maka penulis mengadakan wawancara atau tanya jawab langsung dengan manager koperasi. Setelah melakukan wawancara penulis melihat Sistem Informasi simpan pinjam belum menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis database, Penulis termotivasi untuk membuat sebuah Sistem Informasi simpan pinjam. Sedangkan pemodelan sistemnya menggunakan metode Unifield Modeling Language (UML) Dan dalam pembuatan programnya menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dan Mysql sebagai basis datanya. Dengan adanya sistem informasi simpan pinjam dikoperasi, dapat membantu dalam mengolah data nasabah, data simpan, pinjam serta pembayaran pinjaman.

The work culture of civil servants in this decentralization era tends to come fromthe working culture of each ethnic. The difference of culture applied causes thedifference of civil servants’ way, behavior, and action when performing their work. Thisresearch article aims to discuss one of the working cultures of the civil servants fromMinangkabau ethnic group named galie. This research was conducted by usingdescriptive-qualitative approach, and the data was collected trough observation,interview, and documentation study. Data is validated by triangulation and sourcetriangulation methods.Tthe data analysis is based on Miles and Huberman (2000). Theresult of the research shows that the galie work culture has usually been inherited in thefamily and society for a period time; hence the galie work culture is also implementedwhile working in the local government organization of Pasaman Barat regency. Theresearch concluded that the galie work culture does not cause work culture that canharm others, but whenever the work culture exists, the civil servants would be annoyed.Civil servants who have this work culture tend to avoid risks and prefer simpler workthan their colleagues.Key words: work ethnict culture, galie, civil servant, Minangkabau ethict

Pada suatu perusahaan pasti membutuhkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat, salah satunya adalah informasi mengenai aset. Aset merupakan barang atau benda yang terdiri dari Aset tetap dan Aset yang dapat bergeak. PT Arbunco Wira Pandega adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa. Pada saat ini dalam proses pencatatan data aset masih menggunakan aplikasi Ms. Excel, dimana masih dapat terjadinya salah input data aset dan data dapat hilang dari penyimpanan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis pada sistem yang berjalan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem informasi monitoring aset pada PT Arbunco Wira Pandega . Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Metode PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, and Efficiency, Service). kemudian menggunakan UML (Unified Modeling Language) untuk menggambarkan prosedur sistem yang berjalan. Hasil dari analisa ini adalah dibutuhkannya sistem informasi manajemen aset berbasis website yang akan mengurangi kendala-kendala yang terjadi, sehingga akan mempermudah dalam proses pendataan agar suatu data manajemen menjadi jelas dan rapi.

The System Modeling Language (SysML) used the Requirement Diagram to model non-functional requirements, such as response time, size, or system functionality, which cannot be accommodated in the Unified Modeling Language (UML). SysML Requirement Diagram, in its implementation, integrates with several diagrams describing the requirements, which are referred to as additional elements. The absence of transformation rules for these additional elements to become OWL ontology causes difficulties in reading, understanding, and tracking the requirements. In this research, an extended rule of the Requirement Diagram transformation is proposed to solve the problems. First, some transformation rules are defined to make requirements easier to trace and realize the ontology generation's automatic transformation. Second, the time required during transformation processing to prepare and generate the OWL file shows the proposed model's performance. The ontology components produced from this research, such as class, subclass, object property, and data property, can be viewed in Protégé.

AbstrakPT. Gunung Berlian Nusantara merupakan pengembang perumahan yang bergerak dibidang properti yaitu penjualan rumah subsidi. Sistem penjualannya dilakukan secara kredit melalui Bank atau kredit pada developer. Pembayaran kredit developer langsung pada kantor pemasaran. Data penjualan dan pembayaran rumah diolah oleh bagian administrasi yang masih menggunakan Microsoft Office Excel dan buku administrasi. Sehingga perlu dibangun sebuah rancangan sistem administrasi perumahan untuk pengolahan data yang berbasis pemograman PHP dan basis data MySQL dengan alat bantu perancangan menggunakan UML (Unified Modelling Language). Adapun metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Prototype. Dengan adanya sistem administrasi perumahan berbasis pemograman aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan dan mendukung kegiatan administrasi perusahaan. Kata kunci— Perumahan, PHP, MySQL, UML, Metode Prototype.  AbstractPT. Gunung Berlian Nusantara is a housing developer engaged in the sale of subsidized houses. The sales system is done on credit through the Bank or credit to the developer. Direct developer loan payments at the marketing office. Data sales and home payments are processed by administrators who still use Microsoft Office Excel and administrative books. It is necessary to build the design of residential administration system for data processing based on PHP programming and MySQL database with design tool using UML (Unified Modeling Language). System development method used is Prototype method. The AICPA Model Tax Curriculum (AICPA 1996a) stresses the importance of entity taxation throughout the first two undergraduate tax courses and a master's of accounting program. This paper provides instructors with a case that uses a simplified example of the Boston Celtics, a publicly traded partnership, to highlight the tax and nontax considerations that must be evaluated when making a choice of entity decision. The case also incorporates technological tools including CD-ROM or Internet-based tax research, Excel spreadsheets for preparing tax and cash flow projections, word-processing software, and an optional PowerPoint presentation. The case is designed to be completed in stages throughout the semester.

Our research objectives are to provide a theoretical discussion on how software may impact user performance in ways contrary to designers’ intentions and users’ desires, and to empirically evaluate user performance impacts that derive from ostensibly performance-enhancing software features. We propose that dyadic procedure is associated with higher levels of user performance when compared to monadic procedure. Using word-processing software utilization as the research context, we test the proposition on data from 46 participants. Contrary to expectations, the results suggest that dyadic procedure may decrease the accuracy of users’ work. We conclude that software design features that are intended to improve user performance may have opposite effects, which raise questions about these features’ utility and desirability.

The advent of computers in the classroom has changed the shape of education. Students now have the opportunity to utilize Compact Disc-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) for research and compilation of information. Through the introduction of CD-ROM, students have been encouraged to research topics across the curriculum. The ease and availability of information through the CD-ROM has positively reinforced students to research topics for use in Global Studies, Science, Language Arts, and Computer courses. In addition, students have also been encouraged to utilize word processing software to correlate their research information and to present their topics in a more professional manner. The students use of the CD-ROM as a research tool, and word processing software for the final product, also seems to have had a positive affect on their organizational and writing skills.
