This research aimed to obtain the profile of students' critical thinking skills and the implementation of PBLRQA based on blended learning in high school. This research is a descriptive preliminary study with a saturated sampling technique was taken by 123 students. The method of gathering information with a used a written test, response questionnaire students, and teacher interviews. The analysis was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The result showed that critical thinking skills in the very low category. With the acquisitions of the very low category as many as namely 110 students, the low category as many as 12 students being low, the medium category as many as and 1 student, but in the high and very high categories there are no students who achieve it. The research of the study concluded that the students generally in low critical thinking skills, so it is necessary to change the learning model to improve critical thinking skills, namely by the implementation of PBLRQA based on blended learning.

Conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills are necessary for all students to help them in their learning process. This research aims to determine the effect of Moodle-assisted e-learning on (1) conceptual understanding, (2) critical thinking skills, and (3) conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills combined. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with random cluster sampling was used as the sampling technique. An algebra written test was used to collect research data. Furthermore, the researchers performed the normality test, homogeneity test, and MANOVA analysis to analyze the data. The researchers discovered that Moodle-assisted e-learning influenced students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills.

Abstract—This study aims to analyze students' scientific critical thinking skills through learning with edmodo-based blended learning models. This study is Pre-Experimental using one group pre-test post-test design involving 35 class VIII students at Public Junior High School 10 Jember, Indonesia. The instru-ments used were teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, scientific critical thinking skills assessment sheets, and student motivation sheets. Before and after learning activity, students are given the same initial test (pre-test) and final test (post-test). The collected data was analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) students are motivated in classical learning by 78.13% with motivated criteria. The highest value is on the likes and active indicators using Edmodo, which is equal to 88.47% and the lowest value on the indicator of activity asks questions and opinions at edmodo, which is equal to 70.93%; and (2) there is an increase in scientific critical thinking skills of students with a mean n-gain of .32, with the criteria being moderate. The highest value is achieved on the indicator of fact analysis, which is equal to .55 and the lowest value on the indicators of delivery of argumentation, which is equal to .19. The conclusion of this study is that science learning with an edmodo-based blended learning model can motivate learning and improve scientific critical thinking skills of junior high school students.

<p><em>The background of this research is to analyze the ability to think critically and reasoning in solving mathematical problems of elementary school students. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method which was carried out at SD Negeri Pengarasan 01 with the research subject of class V (five) students as many as 30 students, which were divided into groups of high ability students (KT), medium ability (KS), and low ability (CR). The research data are 1) the ability to think critically in problem solving, 2) the ability to reason mathematically. Sources of data are written test scores of critical thinking skills to solve problems and scores of mathematical reasoning ability tests and interviews. The ability of students who are accustomed to getting structured questions makes it difficult for them to reason about questions that are in the form of story questions. The application of the Problem Based Learning model is suitable for use in elementary schools in building students' critical thinking and reasoning abilities. This ability will make students able to solve problems that arise in the problem.</em></p>

This study aimed to 1) Know the module product description based on 5E learning cycle models developed to train critical thinking skills, 2) Know the feasibility of modules based on 5E learning cycle models on the circulatory system material designed to train students critical thinking skills. This research was done by research and development according to Borg and Gall (2003) which was limited to step 7. The data analysied by descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative descriptive used to process the overall questionnaire assessment data in the form of opinions and suggestions from the material expert validators, media experts, linguists, evaluation experts, education practitioners (biology teachers) and XII science students. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the assessment scores of the respondents regarding the feasibility of the module. Based on the results of the validation by experts, the validation of material experts got 74,96% with good qualifications, data from the presentation or media validation results got an average of 74.49% with good qualifications, language validation got an average of 79.37% with good qualifications and evaluation validation got an average of 74.76% with good qualifications. Validation by educational practitioners got an average of 86,66% with excellent qualifications and validation by students got an average of 88,46% with good qualifications. Based on the overall percentage, it could be concluded that the module was feasible to use.

The aims of this research is to determine the feasibility of the learning materials of Sciences with guided inquiry model to instruct student’s critical thinking skills. This research and development used Tessmer method to produce a prototype which was tested up to field test. The feasibility of learning materials is expressed by the validity, practicality, and effectivenees. The validity of learning materials is determined by expert and one to one test. The practicality is determined by the implementation of lesson plan (RPP). The effectiveness is determined by the ability of students to implementing LKPD. The result showed that; (1) the learning materials is valid according to the result of evaluation by expert and one to one test, (2) the learning materials is practically according to the result of implementation of lesson plan is 3,5, and (3) the learning matrials is effective according to the result of implementation of LKPD. Based of descriptive analysis it could be concluded that the learning materials developed are feasible and were able to instruct critical thinking skills of junior high school student. Pengembangan perangkat dilakukan berdasarkan model penelitian pengembangan Tessmer sehingga menghasilkan prototype yang diujikan hingga tahap uji lapangan. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran ditentukan dari hasil validasi oleh pakar dan hasil uji coba perorangan. Kepraktisan ditentukan dari keterlaksanaan RPP. Keefektifan ditentukan dari kemampuan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar dan uji perorangan, (2) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil penilaian keterlaksanaan RPP mencapai skor 3,5, dan (3) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan kemampuan peserta didik melaksanakan LKPD. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan berpikir kritis

The ability to think critically is needed in the 21st century so that students must have the ability to think critically.Withthese abilities, students are more able to master the concept of material, able to provide further explanation and provide alternative problem-solving so that students are expected to be able to solve problems in the environment in the future. This study aims to analyze the problem-based instruction model with effective video applied to senior high school 1 Mayong students on the ability to think critically and analyze the problem-based instruction model with video so that it can improve the critical thinking skills of senior high school 1 Mayong students. This study used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 Senior High School 1 Mayong which were determined using purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is a problem-based instruction model with an immune system video media. Dependent variables besides critical thinking skills are also conservation attitudes that are expected to arise during the learning process. The researcher collected the data using test questions and observation sheets. The results of data analysis showed that students' critical thinking skills reached 92.5% completeness. On average, every aspect of students' critical thinking skills are in critical and very critical criteria and the average conservation value of students is honest, creative and humanist in good, good and very good criteria. The average N-gain in both classes is included in the criteria of medium (0.69) and high (0.71). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-based instruction model with effective video is applied to senior high school 1 Mayong students towards critical thinking skills and problem-based instruction models with videos can improve the critical thinking skills of senior high school 1 Mayong students

Critical thinking is a way of thinking by knowing and analyzing things to get a solution. Critical thinking skills applied in students to learn to solve problems / problems. This study aims to determine the ability of critical thinking of high school students in cooperative material in class X. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Subjects in this study are high school students of class X in Kabupaten Ciamis. The sample used is 93 students, consisting of 3 classes of 32 students from IIS 1, 27 students from IIS 2 and 34 students from IIS 3. The research instrument used is about knowledge about cooperative material which amounts to 25 choices double with four alternative answer choices, the questions used are arranged according to critical thinking indicator with C4-C6 cognitive level. Data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. the average of students' critical thinking early ability is 49.35% (Low) or in the low category. The low initial ability of critical thinking makes the researcher assume that students are not used to get the problem with cognitive level of C4-C6 on cooperative material. So it is necessary to do better coaching to improve students' critical thinking skills. In addition, students are also required or accustomed in solving problems with high levels of cognitive C4-C6 or cognitive level.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the effect of critical thinking skills on students’ learning competency in accounting subjects at vocational high school in Surakarta. The indicators of critical thinking ability used in this study referred to the theory developed by Ennis, while the accounting competency indicators used referred to Bloom's taxonomy. This research was experimental quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of grade X accounting at SMK 1 Surakarta totaling 96 students. The sample of this study was class X AC (Accounting) 2 as the experimental class and X AC 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random sampling. The data analysis technique used in the study was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with pre-requisite tests that had to be done before, namely normality and homogeneity tests. This study concluded that there are differences in the influence of critical thinking skills on students’ competency in accounting learning.

This study conducted to determine the effect of teaching strategies in online distance learning on the critical thinking skills and technical skills of the students of Liliw National High School, Liliw Laguna, specifically sought to answer the following questions. What is the level of teaching strategies in Online Distance Learning in terms of Lecture-Discussion Method/ Virtual Class; Inquiry-based Method; Visualization; Elaboration? What is the level of critical thinking skills of the student in terms of; Alertness; Flexibility; Decision making? What is the level of technical skills of the students in TLE in terms of; Mensuration and Calculation; Use of tool and equipment; Occupational health and safety? Are the teaching strategies in online distance learning have significant effect on the critical thinking skills of the Grade 7 and 8 TLE online students? Are the teaching strategies in online distance learning have significant effect on the technical skills of the students in Liliw National High School, Liliw, Laguna? The researcher utilized a descriptive design and used the teaching strategies in technology and livelihood education to its effects on the critical thinking skills and technical skills of the students. Respondents are selected forty-five (45) online distance learning students from grade 7 and 8 levels in Liliw, Laguna. Purposive sampling technique was used to get the sample respondents for this study. The scheme was used to ensure that the student-respondents came from Liliw, Laguna. The main source of data of the study is the survey questionnaire prepared by the researcher and the statistical use of simple descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation to determine the mean level of the teaching strategies used by the teachers to measure the students’ critical thinking and technical skills..
