The availability and readiness of heavy equipment depends on the level of product support. Product support as after sales service is important for customers to ensure that heavy equipment purchased is always ready for use and produces optimal production. Leadtime and mechanic speed in solving problems that occur in equipment and the so called On Time in Full Solution (OTIF Solution) affects the usability and productivity of equipment. Performance OTIF Solution affects Product Support Performance, and this affects the level of customer satisfaction. The development of mechanic competencies through competency-based training and problems in the field with reference to the Special Work Competency Standards is a strategy to increase the ability and speed of mechanics to solve problems that occur in machines in order to get good OTIF Solution performance. This research aims to determine the impact of increasing competence. mechanic through training with a competency-based curriculum on product performance support. This research was conducted by providing training with the blended learning method with training modules for machines with under-target OTIF Solution performance. The results showed that after mechanics received training, the OTIF Solution increased from the previous 2 years. namely 89% and 88% below the target of 90% to 93%.

In this research paper, the researcher has attempted to analyse the impact of MOOCs to improve the performance of faculty members concerning Delhi NCR. Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) are evolving rapidly, and many kinds of research have been conducted to explore the structure, effectiveness and issues arise in MOOCs. The free accessibility of MOOCs has believed in soon replace the traditional teaching and learning method.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to develop alternative analytical measures for the degree of operating leverage (DOL) that reflect the impact of uncertain demand shocks in the product's market on optimal production levels, sales and profits of the firm. Design/methodology/approach – The elasticity measures are constructed according to a theoretical formulation of optimal production level that corresponds to demand shocks for given predetermined levels of fixed cost. Findings – The paper suggests two main findings. First, the analytical marginal DOL is at least twice the traditional DOL depending on the structure of the shock, the production function and demand's elasticity. The traditional DOL is equal to the measure only when large-scale negative demand prompts the firm to abandon production. Second, the paper also provides an analytical measure of DOL in terms of elasticity of profit to sales rather than to production level. Both theoretically and empirically elasticity of profit to sales can be better measured and better reflects risk. Research limitations/implications – This paper should be extended to encompass multiple shocks on demand and supply while investigating the empirical multi variants distribution of the shocks. Practical implications – The model can be used by managers who are well informed about the fixed and variable costs of their firm. The model determines the mean profit- risk trade off which is an important factor in all investment decision problems. Originality/value – Surprisingly and according to the best knowledge, this paper is the first attempt in the literature for alternative analytical DOLs’ formulations that is coherent with basic economic theories of optimal production level under risk.

This study aims to describe the implementation of multimedia learning in blended learning in mathematics in grade 4 elementary schools on the topic of fractions. Articulated storyline is an effective medium for elementary school students that is easily developed as one of the multimedia blended learning used in the blended learning method. In our research we examined how the impact of implementation blended learning using multimedia articulated storylines, In this case, it is also discussed how the influence of multimedia articulation storylines as one of the multimedia that can be developed easily to help teachers in distance learning, especially mathematics learning in schools. Primary school related to fraction learning. In this research, students are taught how to interpret the understanding of the concept of fraction problems and proof in life related to mathematics learning problems, so that they can describe mathematical problems and can understand the concept of fractions using logical reasoning so that they are able to prove reasoning about fraction problems according to their abilities. The use of reasoning is needed to determine the concepts that have been made based on the understanding of the concept of fractions that the students have. This study was designed to see the effect of blended learning which is applied as a learning model used to teach logical reasoning in mathematics learning, especially about fraction problems, and how the effect of the application of blended learning on learning outcomes of primary school students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Pangkalpinang

Nowadays, mechanical industries operate in a highly competitive environment, therefore the process of developing a component from concept through detailed Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and performance validation is optimized for reduced development time and increased product performance. To continuously improve the product design and performance and reduce the costs and time to market, the design and performance engineering is shifted more and more towards virtual modeling and simulation processes from the expensive test-based design evaluations. Secondly, the booming introduction of active and adaptive systems in mechanical structures leads to a ‘mechatronics systems’ revolution, which further improves the product performance at the expense of increased system complexity. It is noted that the potential of structural dynamics test and analysis methods for addressing a structural dynamics design assessment or design optimization depends largely on the confidence that one can have in the results. That is, the results must be accurate, characteristic for the actual problem (and not be the result of testing artifacts) and representative for the actual behavior of the investigated structure. In this context, a key aspect is to be aware of the key sources of uncertainty in the designed product, and the impact thereof on the product performance in terms of structural dynamics, crashworthiness and/or acoustics. This paper reviews the main elements of test data and modal modeling uncertainty and assesses the impact of the uncertainty on some typical modeling problems taken from automotive and aerospace industry.

Bureau of mining heavy equipment maintenance at PT. Semen Padang have task in maintenance mine heavy equipment with preventive maintenance although breakdown maintenance. Part inventory is needed to make this activity work properly. If stockout happened will have the impact to PT.Semen Padang mining and production activity. To solve this problem, minimum-maximum inventory control policy is used to give an optimum value of inventory mine heavy equipment. This research is focused in filter and lubricant inventory because they have high demand rate. Data consumption filter and lubricant from January until December 2010 is used in this research. The service level that used is 95%. The result is quantity optimum inventory mine heavy equipment at filter and lubricant with application part inventory of mine heavy equipment. Because it can keep stockout although excess inventory. Keywords: stockout, optimum, inventory

The world is changing so fast, and therefore education needs to adapt to the challenges of times. In order to update the content of school education in the Republic of Kazakhstan modern trends are going to be used. These trends contain pedagogical methods that can be used to preserve and even increase internal motivation, as active learning. Active learning method is an treatment where students participate or interact with the learning process, as opposed to passively taking in the information. The goal of this study is to identify the impact of active learning method on 10th grade students’ attitude towards mathematics of the students the second semester of the school year 2019-2020. More specifically, it attempted to determine and compare the attitude toward mathematics of students’ exposure to active learning and traditional teaching strategy. The Likert scale used to evaluate the attitude of students toward mathematics. Mean, Cronbach  value, T-test were the statistical tools used in anatomizing and interpreting the research data. The discovering showed that the students in the active learning group had auspicious attitude than students in the conventional teaching group. According to the findings after research, we saw the direct relation between attitude and active learning. It is concluded that the students’ attitude toward mathematics was better by using active learning strategy. It is recommended that mathematics teacher should use active learning strategy in order to improve the attitude toward mathematics of the students. Keywords:  attitude, mathematics, active learning
