In Dharawal Country in regional New South Wales, a small and powerful team provides cancer prevention, screening, support and care for Australian Aboriginal people, their families and communities. In keeping with Aboriginal practices and values, their uniquely holistic approach encompasses everything from food security and finding childcare, to support at diagnosis, surgical, radiation or chemo treatment, through to holding funerals, facilitating yarning groups, and Ceremony for survivors of cancer and their carers. The team created a manual for Aboriginal Health Workers, and other staff of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, together with training webinars, and modules. The program is also designed for Aboriginal Liaison Officers and Palliative Care Workers who work in hospitals. The book and the training modules are called Ngununggula. The name, from the Gundungurra language, means working and walking together. “We’ll make ourselves available to anyone that wants to tread this path because we know all the pitfalls. We’ve learned them. We’ve tripped and had to climb out of them again. Anyone that wants the shortcuts—more learning, less pain—here they are. We want to share and help. I want the message to get out all over the place. I want to share the resources, to support anyone else who wants to run programs or build a team like we do.” Kyla Wynn, Counsellor/Co-ordinator Cancer Care Team, Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Service. The construction industry is suffering, in part, from a lack of training programs offered to the construction workforce. Unfortunately, most construction training and education research focuses on university student education. Integrating education science theory into construction workforce training has the potential to improve industry training but there is a dearth of studies that present details of this integration process. To address this gap, a training framework was developed to educate material stakeholders on material properties, selection, and installation. This framework is based on andragogical and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. An assessment method evaluates training agendas to improve upon instructional design before training implementation. This method assesses the proposed training framework by enumerating the occurrences of Bloom’s Taxonomy verbs to determine how closely the proposed training’s goals and objectives followed Bloom’s guidelines. This study culminates by establishing linkages from educational theory to proposed training modules. The module template is presented in a goals and objectives format so that organizations can best implement and test this training framework.

Lack of knowledge about The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and poor water sanitation is a problem in adolescents in Indonesia. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge and awareness about MHM. This community service was carried out in October 2019 at SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen I and SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen II followed by 25 students from grades IV, V and V. The design of this activity is the provision of training on MKM by providing training modules and applying several learning methods including lectures, discussions, and simulations that begin with pretest and end postest. The results showed there was a difference in the average value of knowledge of students to MKM and statistically significant p<0.05.  It is expected that students can do MHM appropriately and provide the right information to friends. Teachers are expected to play an active role in providing information about reproductive health so that students get accurate information

The present study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the multimedia training modules in terms of knowledge gain among bio-control user’s farmers. The study was purposively conducted in Chhattisgarh where, a total of 200 biocontrol user’s farmers were selected randomly and divide into eight groups equally. Bio-control agents was selected as farm technology based on new and need based one. The Barsch learning style inventory was used to access the learning style of farmers and results showed that majority (67.67%) of them were preferred visual learning style. The knowledge was assessed through in-build knowledge test on the specific aspects. From the result, at Dhamtari district, the Group-I (Katalboard) has highest (144.37%) knowledge gain and in Raipur district Group-V (Baronda) has lowest (37.60%) knowledge gain. The overall knowledge gain ranges from 37.60 per cent to 144.37 per cent in the study area; this variation indicated that the farmers having different level of knowledge aspects in the biocontrol agents. There was also statistically significant gain in knowledge (t-test 23.91) from pre to post exposure mean scores which can be interpreted that the multimedia training module had significant effect on the knowledge gain on bio-control agents farming practices. The results of the study clearly indicate the importance of multimedia training modules in transfer of knowledge and skill on scientific farming practices.

The resulting discussion considers how to adopt the right approach to cybersecurity training for organizations, with training modules that cater to end users, and which are designed to ensure maximum retention of information by presenting short, humorous, animated scenarios that are relatable for the target audience.

Training is an art of enhancing skills and knowledge of an employee in performing a task productively. It’s about to impart a defined work related skill to the worker. Training is the connective passage between the employee and the specific job requirement. Development means overall growth of an individual along with the organization. The ultimate purpose of training and development is to increase the efficiency and being skillful by adopting various new mechanisms for a better standard of work life. The purpose of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of training modules in IT sector based Chennai. The study concentrates on the perception of the employees about the training sessions. Developing the talent of workforce enables job enrichment and enlargement. A module of ten Questionnaire is framed out to identify the strong feelings of 100 sample employees on training programs conducted by the organization. The collected data will be analyzed using simple percentage analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA and Chi-Square.

The main purpose of this study is to calculate the return on investment of two training modules of electrical protection and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) using the corrective approaches applied to the basic model presented in previous research. In this study, first, the effect points of the training were identified using open questionnaires completed by experts. Then, its content validity is ensured by Lawshe, Waltz, and Basel approaches. Data on training costs were extracted through financial documentation and estimates. Details of measures, savings, internal supply, and so on were identified and cited to convert the observed effects into financial equivalents. Using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approach, the role of training in comparison with other initiatives in each of the effects and achievements was determined, and the net financial achievements of the training were determined. The training return on investment for the electrical protection module was 243% and for the UPS module was 1637%.

Main aim of the study was focused on the non-native English speakers and the difficulties they face while learning English as a second language (ESL) and the part of teachers. It is generally felt that the English language plays a vital role in the job market so it is mandatory to learn the language. when the students enroll for the courses to develop the language most of the time, they do not succeed because of various reasons like affecting teaching, lack of motivation, lack of practice sessions, poor training modules, etc. The method of relying on physical actions (Total physical response - TPR)developed by psychologist Jit is based on structural linguistics, behaviorism, and the humanistic direction in teaching, as well as on the position of psychology on the coordination of speech and physical actions that accompany it. The method develops the ideas of the natural method. Its essence lies in the fact that when teaching a foreign language, it is necessary to simulate the process of mastering children's native language, which is assimilated in parallel with the performance of appropriate physical actions. The perception of structures is facilitated if it is accompanied by actions performed by the teacher and students.

Abstract STAR Caregivers is an evidence-based intervention designed to reduce caregiver burden for caregivers of people living with dementia. This study translated the paper-based, face-to-face intervention into a 6-session, self-directed online learning program supported by 6, 30-minute telephone calls with a clinically trained coach. Our approach is designed to overcome issues of access to training. Eligible caregiver-patient dyads at Kaiser Permanente Washington were identified automatically via electronic health records. Qualitative interviews were conducted with a sample of patients to elicit information about their needs and preferences for training. We developed a “learning management system” (analogous to compliance training modules) complete with slides, voice-over narration, and testing. The training sessions are mounted on the KP Learn site and accessible to anyone. Baseline and outcomes data on standardized instruments are collected remotely via REDCap. Recruitment for the study is ongoing and initial participant feedback on the program is very positive.

Background: The outbreak of COVID-19 has remained a massive challenge for healthcare workers specially physicians. Effective professional training has a crucial role in preparing doctors for responding to pandemics. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of existing training modules on enhancing knowledge, ensuring safe practice, and improving behavior on COVID-19 among physicians. Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, online survey; where a virtual questionnaire was used to collect data through online professional platforms. A pre-tested survey tool was employed to assess the impact of professional training on infection prevention and control. Results: Total 161 physicians participated in this survey from 15 different countries. Most of the respondents (72%) received training from various sources like the workplace (60%) and international agencies (21%), through the in-person or online format. Knowledge assessment revealed advanced (43%) and competent (40%) understanding by the participants. Improving knowledge progression was displayed by the cohort who received professional training (p<0.00). Physicians’ positive behavior and good practices were observed with the training modules. Conclusion: It became evident from this study, that professional training is effective in enhancing knowledge, improving behavior, and ensuring safe practices. Hence, designing such training modules for the physicians is warranted to tackle ongoing and future pandemics. J MEDICINE 2021; 22: 107-113
