The study was conducted at PT. Aries Iron Mining Tumbang Tilap, District Mentaya Hulu, Kotawaringin Timur, East Kalimantan province.Exploration of the geomagnetic method parameter used to study susceptibility of these methods and geoelectric parameters used to study iron ore with this method is conductive and resistive properties. Geomagnetic data is processed using surfer program, the results of the program are used to determine the retrieval surfer geoelectric. Geoelectric method can provide a snapshot below the soil surface is generally without excavation geophysical methods using methods Geoscan (2D Resistivity and Induced Polarization). IP geoelectric investigation using dipole-dipole configuration, and is limited to the determination of the variation of the subsurface resistivity and chargeability vertically or horizontally

Abstract. Landslides occur frequently all over the world, causing at times considerable economic damage, injuries and even death. In order to improve hazard assessment, common landslide types of a given region need to be investigated in detail. While traditional techniques of subsurface investigation are expensive and only provide point information, geophysical methods are suitable tools for gathering 2D and 3D information on the subsurface quickly, reliably and cost-effectively. In this study, the suitability and limitations of 2D resistivity for the determination of landslide extent, structure and soil moisture conditions are presented. For this purpose, two identical profiles were taken during a two-month period. Significant differences in electrical resistivity (>1000 Ωm) due to varying soil moisture conditions were observed. Using various inversion parameters, it was possible to model two distinct subsurface images. Regrettably, the sliding plane could not be detected reliably, possibly due to the homogeniety of the landslide material and underlying bedrock.

Purpose This paper aims to analyze the superior economic sector by looking at its contribution to the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of East Kalimantan Province, the economic base, the multiplier effect and the strength of inter-sectoral linkages. Design/methodology/approach This study was designed through two research approaches, namely, quantitative and qualitative method. This is intended to complement the results of the phenomenon under study and to strengthen the analysis. Secondary data were analyzed by the level of contribution of the economic sectors to the GRDP, and the base sector was determined through the location quotient approach. The two methods of calculation helped to reveal the dominant economic sectors in East Kalimantan Province. The Input Output (IO) Table in 2016 was made up dated from the 2009 IO Table to be used as a basis for building Social Accounting Matrix data or known as the East Kalimantan Regional Socio-Economic Balance System (SEBS) (a matrix of 49 × 49 sectors) in 2017 by using the RAS method. To be consistent, these SEBS data are then aggregated so all commodities are combined into economic sectors used to determine the leading sector on the East Kalimantan Province SEBS in 2016 (a matrix of 41 × 41 sectors). Findings Based on the assessment by scoring of the criteria for determining the leading economic sectors in East Kalimantan, i.e. the contribution of the economic sector to GRDP, the economic base, the multiplier effect (income, production factor, and output) and the linkages between sectors, both backward and forward linkage, shows the ten leading sectors as follows: the trade; paper and printed goods; financial institutions and other financial services; fertilizer; chemical and other rubber products; hotel and restaurant; general government; fisheries; excavation; and mining without oil and gas. Originality/value Similar research has never been done before in East Kalimantan; this is one of the originalities of this present study. No previous study has comprehensively studied the mediating effects of tourist value perception on the determination of economic sector, especially in Kalimantan, Indonesia.

For mowing grass during harvesting of hay or haylage, support-free mowers with rotary movement of knives are used mainly, the productivity of which is much greater than segment-finger mowers. Free-cutting cutting apparatuses with rotational movement of knives happen with their rotation around the vertical (rotary) and horizontal (rotary) axes. Mowers that are equipped with rotary cutting devices significantly grind grass, so they are used in mower-grinders and lawn mowers. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the methodology for calculating the structural and kinematic parameters of rotary cutting devices, corresponding to the conditions of their use. The main parameters characterizing the operation of rotary cutting devices are: area, mows than in one revolution of the disk; knife working length; overlapping knives of adjacent rotors; cutting speed. In determining the basic parameters of the rotary cutting apparatus of the mower, the following assumptions were made. It was believed that the angular speed of the rotor and the translational speed of the mower are unchanged, and the movement of the unit is straightforward. In addition, the cutting apparatus performs mowing in a plane parallel to the soil surface, that is, in a plane perpendicular to most plant stems. It is shown that the absolute speed of any point of the knife varies from the maximum value equal to the sum of the peripheral speed of this point and the aggregation speed of the mower, to the minimum - the difference of the above speeds. It was found that the working length of the cutting edge of the knife is directly proportional to the speed of aggregation of the mower and inversely proportional to the angular velocity of the rotor and the number of knives mounted on it. The overlap of the path of the knives of adjacent rotors depends on the radius of the rotor; the number of knives mounted on it and the kinematic mode of operation of the cutting apparatus. Moreover, an increase in the radius of the rotor requires an increase in overlap, and an increase in the kinematic mode and the number of knives leads to a decrease in the overlap between the paths of the knives. The resulting dependence, which allows you to determine the area, mows than in one revolution of the rotor.

The problems of collectors at the stage of calculating the reserves in operating incline directional wells, penetrated on clay, polymer-clay solution, polymer washing liquid with hydrochloric-calcium foundation were considered. The electrical resistivity of the solution and the washing liquid from 0.1 to 1 O·mm. According to geophysical methods, establishing of the criteria for the allocation of the collectors requires coring. The main methods for the isolation of collectors are lateral, microlaterolog survey and caliper measurement. The techniques of the gas-saturated collectors porosity coefficient determination were considered.

The purpose of our work has been to determine the indicator of complex adaptability — the United Quality Latent Index of Adaptability (UQLIA) for the experimental populations of Deschampsia antarctica É. Desv. and study the contribution to it of some environmental factors such as the near soil surface temperature and organogens content. Materials and methods. The determination of UQLIA was based on a pairwise comparison of the differences between investigated parameters of populations by mathematical regression techniques. The soil surface temperature was measured by loggers installed near plants in each locus during April 2017 – April 2018. Results and conclusions. Temperature fluctuations were described during December 2017 – February 2018 for twelve experimental populations of D. antarctica and one control fragment of moss turf subformation from Galindez Island. Significant variations in average daily near surface temperature were observed during the study period between populations, especially in December and January. The UQLIA of D. antarctica for this season was calculated on the basis of the projective cover, biometric indices of generative plants and the content of protective and reserve proteins in seeds for the eleven populations. The values of the United Soil Surface Temperature Influence Index (UTII) for the season summer months and the United Organogens Content in Soil Influence Index (UOCSII) have been calculated for the individual parameters of D. antarctica plants adaptability. The reliable contribution of UTII to ULIA has been shown for December and January, at the moment of the greatest variation of soil surface temperature. UOCSII provided a reliable contribution to the ULIA only in the amount of UTII. Keywords: Deschampsia antarctica, United Quality Latent Index of Adaptability (UQLIA), contribution of soil surface temperature and organogens content to complex adaptability.
