Communication is a drug service in pharmacy because of its activities as speakers and speech partners because basically communication between speakers and speakers is a sociolinguistic field. The events that occur in language contact carried out by speakers and speech partners at drug services in pharmacies do not occur in a language diglossia. The research objective was to determine the language diglossia in anwar Medika hospital pharmacy. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Where researchers are placed as the key. Data discussion is done by reducing data, presenting data and drawing a conclusion. The result of the discussion based on Data A is a sentence uttered by a speaker delivered in communicative language that is easy to understand. The answer of a diapotek buyer does not use Indonesian as discussed by the waiter, but speaking in krama alus, generally using Javanese has the best position. Data B, does not use a variety of speeches and interlocutors, because they are the same age in health services to the buyer to convey in smooth, clear and easy to understand language and so that the interlocutor answers in a short language. Data C, a conversation with their servants explained in detail, and was understood. The greeting sentence that is always spoken proves the existence of a person speaking to.

This research focuses on Rub subtype verbs in and English Konjo language. The aims of the research were (1) to identify Rub subtype verbs in Konjo language and English. (2) to investigate the similarities and the differences of Rub subtype verbs in English and Konjo language in the aspect of semantic and grammatical construction. Furthermore, this research used descriptive qualitative method. English data were taken from COCA (Corpus of Contemporary American English). Meanwhile, Konjo language data were taken from observation and interview. Then, the results of this research indicated that (1) there are twelve Rub subtype verbs in English:  rub, wipe, scrape, scratch, mark, sweep, brush, shave, rake, polish, lick and wash. Then, in Konjo language, there are nineteen verbs of Rub subtype: a’goso’, assossoro, angngampallasa, a’lu’lu’, angnga’ru’ akkankang, angngara’musu, annanrai, a’ca’ a’barrasa, assika’, accukkuru, kokkoro, assumer, a’lemong, angngemu’, a’bissa, assassa, and angngi’lasi. (2) The similiarities and the differences of Rub subtype verbs in English and Konjo language: The similarities are both of Rub subtype verbs in English and Konjo language can be applied in construction I (Agent + Target + Manip) and construction II (Agent + Manip + Target). The differences are the variant construction of English Rub subtype verbs and the extra constructions of Konjo language Rub subtype verbs. The variant construction of English Rub subtype verbs is variant construction Ib (Agent + Target (Adj) + Manip) and extra constructions of Konjo language are extra construction Ia (Agent + Target), Ib (Target + Agent), Ic (Agent + Target + Agent), Id (Agent), Ie (Target + Agent)*, IIa (Agent + Target + Manip)*, IIb (Manip + Agent + Target), IIIa (Manip + Target + Manip) and IIIb (Manip + Manip + Target).

As a result of language contact, creole is a language phenomena which must be investigated by linguists. This research investigated the phonological system of Muarasipongi creole. The aim of the research was to identify the phonemes and determine the distribution of phonemes. Descriptive-qualitative method was used in conducting the research. Based on the findings, there are 37 phonemes found in  Muarasipongi Creole. The phonemes are /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /ʧ/, /ʤ/, /k/, /g/, /?/, /h/, /s/, /ʃ/, /m/, /n/, /ŋ/, /ɲ/, /r/, /l/, /w/, /j/. /a/, /i/, /u/, /e/, /o/, /æ/, /ai/, /ua/, /uo/, /ou/, /oi/, /au/, /ei/, /iu/, /ui/, /ae/, and /ia/. In term of phoneme distribution, Muarasipongi creole have variation. The consonants have variation in distribution. Moreover, vowels are complete distribution except phoneme /æ/. Furhermore, none of diphthongs have complete distribution.

This study aims to explore the phenomenon of K-pop on Twitter that can be the platform of English learning. The data gathered included writing documents like K-pop tweets, unstructured interviews and survey results. The researcher focused more on taking data from K-poper who use English as EFL (English as a foreign language). Data collection was taken by interview & poll to K-poper, observations and examination of K-pop tweets, included interactions among K-pop community on Twitter. K-pop Tweets was taken randomly with various topics by taking screenshots. The interview conducted by direct messages to some K-popers who gave consents to do the interview. The survey was executed by using Twitter’s poll feature. Data analysis is carried out with a descriptive qualitative method, focused on finding the nature of the particular event on study. The finding of the study revealed that the interest of K-pop stimulates English learning for K-poper. English helps them to support and connect to their interest. The curiosity of K-pop eagers them to learn and improve English skill. It demands their self-learning in the process of improving English skill. English is a bridge to connect them with their K-pop idols. K-pop is boasting their interest to English than studying English in a classroom with a book. Keywords: English learning, learning media,K-pop, social media, Twitter

A language game is a form of utterance that obtains various deviations, which is intended for various purposes and contains of more than one meaning that depends on how it used and to whom it is intended. In connection with this topic, this paper was made to analyze the phenomenon of language game originating from among students in some demonstrations aimed at the government especially the House of Parliament (DPR) regarding the revised criminal code draft (RUUKUHP) 2019 that was launched to be ratified. For this reason, the data used are portraits of posters and banners sourced from various cities in Indonesia with various forms of utterance. Accordingly, this study will analyze the data based on sociolinguistic studies to understand language problems related to the elements and functions of language. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. Eventually, there were various forms of language games that were found such as, sound substitution, sound addition, abbreviations, metaphor, polysemic, idiom, entailment and rhyme. The language game mentioned was created with various objectives such as criticizing related policies, making fun of the related performance and just creating humor.

This research is making use of descriptive qualitative method. The data are collected with the method of Sudaryanto (1993) that is listening and interviewing method, make use the technique of free listening and interviewing with a list of questionaire. This research makes use the theory of Burning (1970) and Koentjaraningrat (1980) to answer the first problem, and of Spradley (1979) and Casson (1981) to the second one. The result of this research shows that the consanguinal kinship terms are Baba (father), Tou (grandfather), Wos (ego’s father), Galawewe (father of ego’s grandfather), Karekare ( grandfather of Ego’s grandfather), Baay (ego’s mother), Nene (mother’s mother), Nenewos (mother of nene), Nenegalawewe (mother of nenewos), Nenekarekare (mother nenegalawewe). Nikmapin (wife of masculine ego), Nikmon (husband of feminine ego), Tamno (ego’s elder brother),  Thano (ego’s younger brother), Damo 1 (ego’s sister), Damo 2 (ego’s brother), Mtu (ego’s child), Bbu (ego’s grandchild), Bbuwos (child of ego’s grandchild), Bbugalawewe (grandchild of ego’s grandchild), Bbukarekare (buyut dari ego). Afinal kinship terms: Nikmon (husband), Nikmapin (wife), Tafu (brother in-law), Hono (sister in-law), Iho (in-laws), Akmomon (wife’s father), Akmomapin (wife’s mother), Haliha (mother/father in-laws), Kanglolo (elder brother of father or mother), Kangkutu (younger brother of father or mother), Baaylolo (mother’s elder sister), Jojo (mother’s younger sister). The purpose of this study was to determine the cause and effect of communication anxiety between students of the Merdeka Madiun University Class of 2015 with the supervisor when conducting thesis guidance, forms of communication anxiety itself that have been experienced by students of Communication Studies Merdeka Madiun University Class of 2015, anticipatory steps taken by the Communication Sciences Merdeka Madiun University Class of 2015 students, how important is the handling of communication anxiety, data related to communication anxiety among final year students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Research data obtained through observation techniques, literature studies, interviews, and documentation. The informants came from the 2015 Communication Merdeka Madiun University alumni students. The results of this study are modeling and skill acquisition factors causing the emergence of communication anxiety, the type of communication anxiety perceived by informants is generalized context communication apprehension and situational communication apprehension, the form of communication anxiety perceived by informants is state anxiety, the most anticipatory step recommended by informants is to better understand the thesis material before the guidance and remain calm during the guidance.Keyword: Anxiety, Communication anxiety, Students of the Communication Studies Program Merdeka Madiun University Class of 2015,Thesis Guidance.

Sociolinguistics is the study of language variation and use in society. Interference is the event of the use of language elements of one into the other language elements that occur in the speakers themselves. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because to describe the actual realityin order to obtainan accurateand objective. Qualitative descriptive methods were used to analyzethe elements ofa word orphrase that incorporated elements of other languages with the analysis and description of the formulation of the problem is the answer. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, the determination ofthe object of research, the selection of short stories.Based on the analysis of the data in this study can be found that there are six forms of interference morphology, namely (1) the prefix nasal N-sound, (2) the addition of the suffix, (3) the exchange prefix, (4) exchange suffixes, (5) exchange konfiks, (6) removal affixes. While the syntactic interference only on the words and phrases in a sentence. The results of the study it can be concluded that the interference morphology more common than syntactic interference.

HUMOR AND TASTE OF KHONG GUAN IN JOKO PINURBO’S POEMJoko Pinurbo is one of productive writer. The most interesting part of all works from Jokpin is the humour or jokes he inserted. What makes it interesting there are several poems that he wrote which published in Kompas newspaper on 31st Agustus 2019. There are twelve poems which consists the word Khong Guan in every title: Perjamuan Khong Guan, Hujan Khong Guan, Tidur Khong Guan, Lebaran Khong Guan, Minuman Khong Guan, Sabda Khong Guan, Agama Khong Guan, Keluarga Khong Guan, Mudik Khong Guan, Doa Khong Guan, Bingkisan Khong Guan, dan Hati Khong Guan. Those twelve poems are the subject to this research. The aim of this research is to define how humor was created.  Recent humors are mostly uneducated humor such as insult joke, bullying, and disrespectful. Joko Pinurbo gives alternative in doing humor, through poem. Humor found in the poem is dominated by tragedy humor. Descriptive qualitative method is used in this research. This research found that there are five poems which can be classified as tragedy

Kamus baca bergambar merupakan salah satu media penunjang pembelajaran yang dapat membuat siswa lebih tertarik dan mempermudah dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi, bahwa banyak berbagai macam kamus baca bergambar yang ditemukan. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi daya tangkap pemahaman siswa dalam Bahasa Mandarin. Oleh sebab itu, pada penelitian ini  peneliti berusaha menganalisis kamus baca bergambar Bahasa Mandarin sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu 1) Mengetahui kebutuhan siswa akan kamus baca bergambar untuk mempermudah siswa dan guru belajar bahasa Mandarin, 2) Mengetahui kesesuaian kamus baca bergambar dengan kebutuhan siswa melalui analisis SWOT untuk mempermudah belajar bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, karena peneliti akan menjabarkan kebutuhan kamus baca bergambar untuk mempermudah siswa belajar Bahasa Mandarin. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghendaki kamus baca bergambar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa berdasarkan penyusunan kosakata, jumlah kosakata per halaman, tampilan/ layout kosakata, font Hanzi, font size Hanzi, font Pinyin, font size Pinyin, gambar/ ilustrasi.Picture reading dictionary is one of the supporting learning media that can make students more interested and simplify the learning process. Based on observations, that many various kinds of picture reading dictionaries were found. This can affect the comprehension of students' comprehension in Mandarin. Therefore, in this study the researchers tried to analyze the Chinese picture reading dictionary according to the students' needs. The purpose of this study, namely 1) Knowing the needs of students for picture reading dictionaries to facilitate students and teachers learning Mandarin, 2) Knowing the suitability of picture reading dictionaries with students' needs through SWOT analysis to facilitate learning Chinese. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, because the researcher will describe the need for  a picture reading dictionary to facilitate students learning Mandarin. The results of  this study require a picture reading dictionary that suits students' needs based on vocabulary preparation, number of vocabularies per page, display / layout of vocabulary, Hanzi fonts, Hanzi font sizes, Pinyin fonts, Pinyin font sizes, pictures / illustrations.Picture reading dictionary is one of the supporting learning media that can make students more interested and simplify the learning process.
