This study aims to determine the potential of learning models with the Pattern of Empowerment Thinking Through Questions (PBMP) combined with integrated scientific approach integrated Islamic values in empowering critical thinking and metacognition of elementary school students or madrasah ibtidaiyah. Furthermore, this study aimed to determine differences in critical thinking and metacognition of students with different ethnicities related to the learning model applied. This research is classified as a quasi experiment, conducted in the 2018/2019 school year in class V at two Ibtidaiyah Madrasahs classified as schools or multiethnic Madrasas in Ternate City. The measured variables in this study were students' critical thinking skills and metacognition. To test the hypotheses, Anakova in the SPSS 16.0 program was used. If the probability value is significant, then further tests with LSD. The results of data analysis show that PBMP learning combined with integrated scientific approach integrated Islamic values has an effect on students 'critical thinking and metacognition and or it can be said that PBMP patterned learning combined with an integrated scientific approach integrated Islamic values is more empowering students' critical thinking and metacognition than conventional models. There are differences in students' critical thinking between ethnic groups in the class applied to the model, these differences can be concluded that students in each ethnic group have different learning styles. Keywords: multiethnic, PBMP, scientific approach, Islamic values, Metacognition, critical thinking.

The profession that is always required to be creative, always innovating is one of the teachers. Current and future teacher professions are very heavy because not only academic competencies such as mastery of subject matter, expertise in designing, managing and evaluating learning with a variety of the latest methods, and skilled in using teaching aids and learning media; but also he must have the maturity and persistence of personality. Teacher professional improvement itself can actually be pursued through a number of ways, namely further study, inhouse training; Empowering subject teachers' deliberations (MGMP), empowering professional organizations, evaluating classroom performance, certification and competency tests. In addition, to take part in the rapid development of science and technology, there are a number of other competencies that teachers must have in the future. These competencies are lifelong learning, science and technology eruption, mastering English, skilled in carrying out classroom action research, communicating scientifically, being able to use and access information technology systems. Keywords: competence, in house training, future teacher challenges

School autonomy with its local curriculum as a sign for an area will provide opportunities for the region to develop its regional potential, including North Maluku, where most of the people live in coastal areas. Regional autonomy opens up space for the region to improve its education, and the coastal communities of North Maluku must be of special concern because of the potential of fisheries, coral reefs, mangrove forests, marine tourism islands, and others not touched by skilled hands, because they are not taught in education . Not to mention the local potential and cultural values of the people who are very very diverse which tend to be ignored. Even though all of this is the foundation supporting the national strength and integrity of the NKRI. Over time, the ASEAN Ecconomy Community (AEC) or the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) was present and became a challenge for the people of North Maluku. If the education of the people of North Maluku is not qualified and ignores local values, then the output of education will be spectators and slaves in their own country. Ki Hadjar Dewantara has reminded us that "our culture is pressured by European culture; this is good, but even the big language seems to be hanging up ... The objectives of these research was to developed student’s competence of writing a paragraph in using Concept sentence. These Classroom action research held at the 3rd grade of SDN 20 West Halmahera at the year of 2018-2019. The type of this research was classroom action research and consist of two cycles that includes in planning, action, observation and reflection. The technique that used in this research were, observation, interviews and evaluation. The result of this researched concluded that in using concept sentence increased students competence in writing a paragraph proved by some items consisted of (1) concept sentence correctly implemented (2) the setting or placement of the punctuation and letter were correctly (3) the students chosen of words in thir thought based on the key words (4) the interrelation of each sentence in a paragraph was correctly design.Key Words: Improving, concept sentence model, writing paragraph

Limitations in the number of vocabulary owned by children can be caused by a lack of simulations given by teachers and parents, as well as the environment, based on the results of initial observation in group A on pomarimoi Christian Early Childhood Education. learning and giving opportunities and freedom of speech in accordance with illustrated stories. Picture story is one medium that enhances ideas, ideas, and feelings, this research is carried out in the rest of class A in early childhood children education in pomarimoi Tomute Sungi village, sub-district of Ibu with the aim of improving speaking skills through hand puppet media, with the number of students with 16 students. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages namely; 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, 3. Observation, 4. Reflection, data collection techniques used are observation and documentation methods, with data analysis techniques using descriptive percentages, results of research and discussion showing the results of evaluation of group learning in the first cycle of action I 1`4,66 began to develop (MB), and there was an increase in the second action 62% was developing, and in the results of evaluation of individual learning in action I 31% began to develop (MB), and 62.50%, then an increase occurred significant in the second cycle, among others, on the eveluation of learning cycle II group action I 75% and the second action 98.77%, while the results of individual learning on action I cycle II 87.5% and 98% in the second action. so that it can be concluded that in order to improve speaking skills using the method of telling stories in early childhood children education in pomarimoi Tomute Sungi villageof Tongute Sungi,sub-district of Ibu can increase optimally. Key words: speaking, story telling

This research was conducted to determine the effect of assurelearning model based onvideo media towards chemical equilibrium materials result of XI IPA students in SMANegeri 4 Morotai Island.  The research typewas experimental research using pretest-posttest control group design. The population was XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 4 Morotai Island in 2nd semester academic year 2017/2018 and the total numbers were 48 students consist of two classes. Thetechnique sampling used saturated sampling technique. The instruments were 10 items essay questions to measure students’ learning result while observation sheets for assesing affective and psychomotor domain. Data analyzed used t-test. The results showed that there was an effect on the learning results of XI IPA students in SMA Negeri 4 Morotai Island on chemical equilibrium material based on the results of the t-test obtained thisis 4.81>ttabis 2,000 with the increasing of 2.34%.Keywords: video,media, assurelearning model, students result.

The place of reserach at SMP Gotong Royong, Tobelo. This research aims at knowing the students’ output through the constructivism application and to know improving the output after doing the learning process  using construtivism. The method  used in this reserach was qualitative in the shape of Classroom Action Research (CAR) and using two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, doing, and reflection. Based on the result of research, in the cycle 1, the average of the students’ output is 62.08. This value has not get the minimum score or the criterium of minimum completness. In the cycle II, the average of the students’ output is 71.25, this means the students has got minimum score of achievement. The above result shows that the conducted research in cycle I to cycle II get significant improvement.Keywords: constructivism learning, output, KKM

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemmapuan berbicara sisiwa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Guruapin, serta untuk mengetahui sejauhmana penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 38 Kota Ternate. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV dengan melibatkan 37 siswa dan guru kelas sebagai sumber data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap sikluas dilaksanakan dua kali tatap muka. Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas tentang penggunaan role play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 38 Kota Ternate dapat ditemukan bahwa siklus I terdapat 18 siswa atau 48.64% siswa dinyatakan tuntas belajar, sementara 19 siswa atau 51.35% siswa dinyatakan belum tuntas. Kemudian meningkat pada tindakan siklus II yaitu sebanyak 30 siswa atau 81.08% dinyatakan mencapai ketuntasan belajar, dan terdapat 7 siswa atau 18.91% siswa dinyatakan belum tuntas. Adapun peningkatan dari tindakan siklus I ke siklus II adalah sebesar 31.44%. Kata Kunci:  Bahasa Indonesia, Berbicara, Role Play

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam model Discovery Learning dipadu dengan Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental (Quasy Experiment). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2018 - 2019 di SMA Negeri 5 di Kota Ternate. Teknik analisa menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan membandingkan nilai pre dan post test. Soal pre test berjumlah 15 nomor dan soal uraian berjumlah 5 nomor. Teknik analisis deskriptif hasil belajar meliputi presentase hasil belajar,ketuntasan dan presentase predikat sangat baik (A),baik(B),Cukup(C) dan kurang (D) serta uji N-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dari pre test ke post test. Teknik analisis statistik inferensial digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian melalui sistem (SPSS) versi 25.0. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh model pembelajaran Discovery dikombinasikan dengan Numberd Heads Together adalah 83. Prosentase ketuntasan hasil belajar 100%,perolehan kategori sangat baik (20,8%), kategori baik (75%), kurang (4,2%) dan kurang (0%). Hasil analisis statistik inferensial uji N-gain adalah 3,8  > 0,7 pada sampel menunjukan ada peningkatan kategori tinggi terhadap hasil pre dan post test. Hasil uji homogenitas adalah 0,00 > 0,05 menunjukan sampel berada dalam homogenitas, uji normalitas adalah 0,77  > 0,05  menunjukan sampel berada dalam keadaan homogen dan uji anacova adalah 0,01 <  0,05. Hasil Uji anacova membuktikan hipotesa ada peningkatan  hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model  Discovery Learning dipadu dengan Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT). Kata kunci : Model Discovery Learning, Numberd Heads Together (DLNHT), Hasil                             Belajar Siswa , Subtansi  Genetik

Model Student Teams Achieviement Devision (STAD) merupakan pembelajaran kooperatif yang sederhana, yang terdiri atas langkah utama yaitu: presentasi kelas, kerja tim, kuis, dan rekognisi tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Ternate pada materi berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesia beserta ancaman dan pelestariannya. Penelitian ini merupakan quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest–Posttes Nonequivalent Control Group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA, sementara populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA1 dan  X IPA2, dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 25  orang.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemapuan (preetes dan posttes). Hasil uji anacova menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,000˂0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STAD berpendekatan saintifik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik.Kata kunci:  Model STAD,  saintifik , kemampuan kognitif.
