Abstrak Kabupaten Magelang yang berada di lereng gunung dengan topografi wilayah yang bervariasi memiliki potensi pariwisata lokasi yang sangat besar. Namun sayangnya objek-objek wisata di Kabupaten Magelang rata-rata belum dikelola dengan baik. Melalui penelitian ini, ingin mengkaji salah satu objek wisata di Kabupaten Magelang yaitu Air Terjut Sekar Langit. Dengan pertumbungan jumlah kunjungan yang positif menunjukkan bahwa objek ini memiliki potensi untuk berkembang bila dikelola dengan baik. Menggunakan travel cost method, penelitian itu bertujuan untuk mengetahui  nilai ekonomi dari objek wisata Air Terjun Sekar Langit sehingga dalam jangka Panjang dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan Pemerintah dan Dinas terkait untuk mengelola sekaligus tetap melestarikan sumber daya alam yang ada di Air Terjun Sekar Langit, serta sebagai referensi untuk pengambilan kebijakan. Abstract Magelang Regency is on a mountainside with varied regional topography which has a very large tourism potential location. But unfortunately, tourist attractions in Magelang regency on average have not been managed well. Through this research, we want to examine one of the tourist attractions in Magelang Regency, which is the Waterfall of Sekar Langit. With the growth in the number of positive visits shows that this object has the potential to develop if managed properly. Using the Travel Cost Method, this study aims to analyze the economic value of the Sekar Langit Waterfall attraction. With the hope that the results of this study can be used as consideration for the Regional Government and related agencies to manage, but on the other hand the natural preservation of the Sekar Langit tourist attraction is maintained.

The research aims at estimating the tourism and recreational values of Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, Ho Chi Minh City, specifically, assessed the tourism potential via the willingness-to-pays of respondents (including domestic tourists and local people) for sustaining the landscape and regenerating natural resources as well as protecting the environment. The zone travel cost method was adopted in this study, to firstly plot the demand curve and then to estimate the values of recreation for visitors, eventually, come up with the total economic value of natural resources and environment of the research site. The results showed that the total recreational value of this resort is 6,542.3 billion VND while the consumer surplus values that visitors would receive from tourism activities are 1,389 billion VND. Each the tourist is willing to pay 107 thousand VND to improve the quality of tourism services, upgrading the infrastructure, sustaining the environmental quality and protecting the pristine look of the landscape.

Mount Pancar Nature Park (TWAGP) was located in Karang Tengah Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency. As a unity of sustainability, the TWAGP ecosystem must be able to provide benefits with various values. In the context of the valuation approach, of course, there are practical and normative dimensions for selecting ecosystem services. This study aimed to determine the factors that affect the number of visits to TWAGP and calculate the economic valuation of TWAGP based on the travel cost method (TCM). The method used was TCM. This method was calculated based on total consumer surplus, the coefficient of travel expenses, and total visits respondents. The analysis showed that four factors influence visit frequency, to TWAGP including, cost of travel, level of education, length of knowledge and distance travelled. The consumer surplus of individuals per visit was Rp209.000, and the total economic value was Rp8.535.978.000. The recommendation is a response to the willingness of visitors to pay an additional entry fee than what enforced needs to followed by improving the quality of tourist attractions so that visitors are satisfied and increasingly want to return to visit.   Keyword: Consumer surplus, Economic valuation, Mount pancar nature park, Sustainability, Travel cost method

Abstract Indonesia’s natural potential is very diverse, one of which is the natural tourism potential of the provinces in Indonesia. Sumatra, especially North Sumatra, is currently developing its natural potential, namely the Simarjarunjung Nature Tourism Area. This area is a magnet for tourists, because the hill is one of the ideal locations to see the landscape of Lake Toba. This study is aimed to analyze the total economic value with the travel method (Travel Cost Method) and the factors that influence tourists’ visits to the Simarjarunjung Natural Tourism Area. The method used to estimate the economic potential of tourism activities in the Simarjarunjung Nature Tourism Area is the individual travel cost method, while to determine the factors that affect the intensity of tourist visits to the Simarjarunjung Nature Tourism Area, it is determined by multiple linear regression analysis. The research data were obtained by asking questions on the questionnaire to the visitors. The results showed that the economic potential of the Simarjarunjung Nature Tourism Area reached IDR. 6,207,894,000/year, and the variables that had a significant effect on the intensity of tourists’ visits to the Simarjarunjung Nature Tourism Area were travel costs, age, and distance variables.

ABSTRAKPantai Cahaya dan Pantai Sendang Sikucing terletak di Desa Sendang Sikucing, Kecamatan Rowosari, Kabupaten Kendal. Potensi pariwisata dari Pantai Cahaya dan Pantai Sendang Sikucing meningkatkan nilai tambah bagi sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan tersebut yang menarik minat wisatawan. Nilai ekonomi dari pariwisata dapat diukur dengan banyaknya jumlah pengunjung. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi dari pariwisata adalah dengan valuasi ekonomi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik wisatawan dan valuasi ekonomi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November-Desember 2018. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dengan bantuan kuesioner. Teknik sampling menggunakan convenience sampling yang dibagikan kepada 100 responden pengunjung, sedangkan analisis valuasi ekonomi biaya perjalanan menggunakan pendekatan Travel Cost Method. Karakteristik wisatawan Pantai Cahaya dengan persentase berusia 20-40 tahun 47%, pelajar/mahasiswa 34%,banyaknya kunjungan 2-3 kali per tahun, lama wisata 1-5 jam, berasal dari luar Kabupaten Kendal 59%, jarak tempuh dari tempat asal >20 km dan alat transportasi mobil sebesar 38%. Karakteristik wisatawan yang Pantai Sendang Sikucing dengan persentase usia 20-40 tahun 49%, pelajar/mahasiswa 41%, banyaknya kunjungan >8 kali per tahun, lama wisata 1-5 jam, berasal dari Kabupaten Kendal 66%, jarak tempuh >20 km dan menggunakan alat transportasi motor sebesar 55%. Nilai ekonomi pariwisata Pantai Cahaya sebesar Rp 18.606.970.047,00/tahun, sedangkan nilai ekonomi pariwisata Pantai Sendang Sikucing sebesar Rp 3.259.683.684,00/tahun. ABSTRACT Cahaya beach and Sendang Sikucing beach located in Sendang Sikucing village, Rowosari Sub-Regency, Kendal Regency. The tourism potential of Cahaya Beach and SendangSikucing Beach increases the value of these natural and environmental resources and attracts tourists. The economic value of tourism can be measured by the large number of visitors. One way to find out the economic value of tourism is with economic valuation.The purpose of this research are to find out the tourist characteristic and economic valuation. This research was conducted on November-December 2018. It used a descriptive method and collecting data by using questionnaires. Sampling technique used convenience sampling distributed to 100 visitors as the respondents while the economic valuation of travel cost analysis used the Travel Cost Method approach. The visitors’ characteristics of Cahaya beach with a percentage of ages 20-40 years old 47%, students/college students 34%, the number of visits 2-3 times/years, fo 1-5 hours/visit, who come from outside the Kendal regency 59%, with mileage from their home about >20 km and using car transportation 38%. The visitors’ characteristics of Sendang Sikucing beach with a percentage of ages 20-40 years old 49%, students/college students 41%, the number of visits >8 times/years, for 1-5 hours/visit, who come from Kendal regency 66%, with mileage from their home about >20 km and using motorcycle 55%.The economic value of tourism in Cahaya beach is Rp. 18.606.970.047,00/year while Sendang Sikucing beach is Rp. 3.259.683.684,00/year.

Economic assessment of a tourist attraction, both natural and artificial, is very important for planning sustainable environmental management. The plan aims to maintain the development capital so that it can be managed as a source of regional income and also to improve the welfare of the community. On the other hand, the management of tourism objects can be used to improve the regional economy without the need to exploit its natural resources. This research was conducted at Manneken Park, an artificial tourism object located in Prafi District, Manokwari Regency. The study focused on the number of individual travel costs and the economic value of the tourism object using descriptive research methods with survey techniques involving 100 respondents as resource persons. By using the Individual Travel Cost Method (ITCM), the results show that the average travel cost is Rp. 692,120, - and the economic value of tourism objects is Rp. 6,925,795.703,-. This indicates that the economic benefits received by tourists to travel to the Manneken Park attraction are greater than the costs incurred. The intended economic benefits are in the form of benefits in the form of comforts such as getting peace, beauty, and satisfaction.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi pengembangan wisata air di waduk Jatibarang dengan menghitung nilai ekonomi Objek Wisata Waduk menggunakan Travel Cost Method (TCM), Willingnes to Pay (WTP), Net Benefit dan R/C Ratio. Penelitian ini juga melihat persepsi responden tentang potensi tersebut. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang dan 6 orang pelaku usaha di lokasi wisata. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik Convenience Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi fisik Objek Wisata Waduk Jatibarang dalam kategori baik sedangkan aksesibilitas dan fasilitas dalam kategori kurang baik. Pengembangan Objek Wisata Waduk Jatibarang lebih mengacu pada peningkatan kepuasan dan kenyamanan, keindahan alam tetap dijaga dan opsi penambahan wisata. Wahana wisata yang ada di objek wisata yaitu speed boat dan perahu motor. Opsi penambahan wahana wisata terdiri dari becak air, perahu dayung, wisata kuda, mandi bola, banana boat dan wake board.  Pengembangan wisata waduk dengan penambahan wahana wisata yang sesuai dengan estimasi pengguna tertinggi adalah becak air, dengan nilai Willingnes to Pay (WTP) adalah Rp. 10.000,00 dan nilai Net Benefit sebesar Rp. 115.829.100,00. Nilai ekonomi objek Wisata Waduk Jatibarang Semarang dengan menggunakan Travel Cost Method (TCM) sebesar Rp. 215.241.445,00/ tahun. Respondent of  the research were 100 people and  6 businesses men. Data collected using convenience sampling technique. The research showed that physical condition of tourism attractions is good, whereas accesibility and facilities are not good. Attractions of the Jatibarang Reservoir development refers to increasing satisfaction and comfort, maintaining of nature  and option for adding tourist attraction. Rides tourist attractions are  speed boats and motorboats. Extra options of tourism attraction include water tricycles, paddle boats, horseback tours, bath balls, banana boat and wake board. The highest estimated option of tourism development is water tricycles, with willingnes  to  Pay  (WTP) value about  IDR.  10,000.00  and  Net  Benefit  value  about  IDR. 115,829,100.00. The economic value of the Jatibarang Reservoir Semarang by the Travel Cost Method (TCM) is IDR. 215,241,445.00 / year. Economic Valuation of Parangtritis Beach, Bantul YogyakartaAbstractThe valuation of Pantai Parangtritis becomes very important along with the micro issue concerning the plan of infrastructure development, facilities and infrastructure in south region. Development of infrastructure in process is Jalur Lintas Selatan Street which includes the area around Parangtritis Beach. The analytical tool used to know variable that influence number of traveler to Parangtritis tourist attraction and the economic value of Parangtritis Beach is Travel Cost Method. Based on the research findings that the variable of total cost, income level, age, and education level influence the number of visits to Parangtritis Beach. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa variabel total biaya, tingkat pendapatan, usia, dan tingkat pendidikan memengaruhi jumlah kunjungan ke Pantai Parangtritis. Sementara itu valuasi ekonomi Pantai Parangtritis adalah sebesar Rp14.605.101.491.

 ABSTRAK Pantai Sigandu merupakan objek wisata alam yang sangat potensial. Keberadaan Pantai Sigandu mampu membantu perekonomian daerah Kabupaten Batang. Mengingat pentingnya keberadaan objek wisata tersebut maka diperlukan suatu kajian yang mampu mengestimasi besarnya nilai ekonomi dari kegiatan wisata di Pantai Sigandu, serta menganalisa kesesuaian wisata pantai untuk rekreasi agar dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan dan pengelolaan objek wisata tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2018 - Januari 2019 dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan tipologi wisatawan; menghitung nilai ekonomi pariwisata berdasarkan Travel Cost Method (TCM); dan menganalisa kesesuaian wisata berdasarkan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW). Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif, dengan metode pengambilan data primer menggunakan teknik wawancara terhadap 100 wisatawan, dengan bantuan kuisioner serta melakukan sampling lapangan untuk analisis kesesuaian wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik wisatawan memiliki kisaran usia 20-40 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan SMA/SMK. Nilai ekonomi yang diperoleh berdasarkan metode biaya perjalanan atau TCM di Pantai Sigandu yaitu sebesar Rp. 31.038.289.140,00 per tahun dengan biaya rata-rata sebesar Rp. 120.140,00 per individu. Nilai Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW) Pantai Sigandu termasuk dalam kategori sangat sesuai (S1) yaitu tidak memiliki faktor pembatas dalam suatu penggunaan tertentu secara lestari, atau hanya memiliki pembatas yang kurang berarti dan tidak berpengaruh secara nyata. ABSTRACT Sigandu Beach is a potential natural tourism object. The existence of Sigandu Beach is able to increase the economy of the Batang Regency. The existence of a tourism object is important, so it is needed a study to estimate the tourism economic value of Pantai Sigandu, as well as to analyze the suitability of coastal tourism for recreation so that it can be used in development and management of this tourism object. This study was conducted in December 2018 - January 2019. It aims to find out the profile and typology of tourists; to calculate the economic value of tourism based on Travel Cost Method (TCM); and to analyze tourist suitability based on the Tourism Suitability Index. This study is a quantitative with a primary data method use a interview technique for 100 tourist with the help of questionnaires and do measures of the field for Tourism Suitability Analysis. Results of the study show that characteristics of tourist respondents have an age range of 20-40 years old with high school/ vocational education level. The economic value was obtained based on TCM in the Sigandu Beach, which is Rp. 31,038,289,140.00 per year with an average cost of Rp. 120,140.00 per individual. The Tourism Suitability Index value in the Sigandu Beach is included in the very appropriate category (S1), it does not have a limiting factor in a particular use sustainably, or it only has a less significant limitation and does not have a significant effect.

ABSTRAKPantai Wediombo terletak di  Desa Jepitu, Kecamatan Girisubo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Pantai Wediombo merupakan salah satu ekosistem perairan yang memiliki daya tarik untuk dapat dijadikan objek wisata. Manfaat yang diberikan oleh pantai Wediombo belum terukur secara ekonomi sehingga penting untuk dilakukan studi tentang besarnya nilai ekonomi kawasan wisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui potensi dan nilai ekonomi Pantai Wediombso. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2019 di Pantai Wediombo. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara kepada 100 wisatawan dan 1 pengelola wisata menggunakan kuisioner dengan teknik sampling accidental sampling. Analisis valuasi ekonomi wisata menggunakan pendekatan Travel Cost Method. Potensi yang dimiliki oleh Pantai Wediombo mencakup keindahan dan kondisi daya tarik pantai termasuk dalam  kategori sangat baik, sarana dan prasarana yang sudah memadai, pelayanan pengelola yang cukup baik serta potensi budaya masyarakat seperti Upacara Ngalangi. Nilai ekonomi Pantai Wediombo sebesar Rp.52.787.622.096,00/tahun dengan rata-rata biaya perjalanan individu sebesar Rp. 208.296,00/kunjungan. ABSTRACTWediombo Beach located in Jepitu Village, Girisubo District, Gunungkidul Regency. Wediombo Beach is one of the aquatic ecosystems which has attraction that can be a good tourist destination. The benefits from Wediombo Beach were not yet measure in economic terms and it is important to study the magnitude of the economic value of tourist areas. The purpose of this research is to find out the potential and economic value of the beach. The research held on March at Wediombo Beach. The study used descriptive methods. Data obtained through interviews with 100 tourists and 1 tourism manager using questionnaires with accidental sampling. Analysis of tourism economic valuation using Travel Cost Method approach. The potential of Wediombo Beach including the beauty and conditions of coastal appeal is in a very good category, adequate facilities and infrastructure, good management services and potential cultural communities such as the Ngalangi ceremony. The economic value of Wediombo Beach based on tourist travel cost is about Rp.52.787.622.096.00 / year and average individual travel cost about Rp.208.296 / visit.
