This study explores the experts’ opinions during the consultation stage before law-making for civilian drones. A thorough literature study is first undertaken to have the set of influencing factors that should be suitable for the investigation from the perspective of designing and selecting civilian drones. Several rounds of surveys using the Delphi method, followed by an analytic hierarchy process (AHP), are performed to conform to the organized tree structure of constructs and factors and to obtain the knowledge about the opinions of the expert groups, with the expert sample being intentionally partitioned into three opinion groups at the beginning: academia (A), industry (I), and research institutes (R). Doing so facilitates a “mind-mining” process using the triple helix model (THM), while the opinions across the groups can also be visualized and compared. This exploits a new set of knowledge for the design and selection of civilian drones on a scientific yet empirical basis, and the observed differences and similarities among the groups may benefit their future negotiations to propose the drafts for regulating the design, manufacturing, and uses of civilian drones. As several significant implications and insights are also drawn and gained from the abovementioned results eventually, some possible research directions are worthwhile. The proposed hybrid methodological flow is another novelty.

Celebrity endorsement is a critical and positive commercial promotional tool. With the increasing number of international sports celebrities, many sporting and non-sporting goods companies use such celebrities to promote their products. This study develops a model for selecting sports celebrity endorsers. A Chinese sporting brand company is the target of this study. The proposed model adopts the modified Delphi method to identify suitable criteria and applies the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the criteria's relative weights. The selected company exemplifies how the model can guide the selection of sports celebrity endorsers. The model ranks the importance to the target company of five criteria: trustworthiness, match-up, attractiveness, risk and expertise. The proposed model allows the company to select sports celebrity endorsers effectively, and contributes to academia and commerce.

Each company will seek to improve performance in order to obtain the optimal results and customer satisfaction. One of the factors that affect the performance of the company is the supplier or vendor, which acts as a supplier of the operational needs of the company consisting of raw materials and spare parts manufacturing equipment. The existence of suppliers is crucial for the production process and the product to be produced. Therefore, it is necessary to a proper selection of suppliers so as to eliminate all risks that would result in losses for the company. PT. Semen Padang is one of the companies involved in the cement industry are one of members of PT. Cement Indonesia as the Holding Company. Until now both PT. Semen Padang and PT. Cement Indonesia does not have yet a standard method in the selection of suppliers for the procurement process of goods and services. This study aims to design the proposed indicator in the evaluation of suppliers to determine the bidders list on a tender for the procurement of services in PT. Semen Padang. Based on the literature study, it obtained six criteria i.e: quality, delivery, performance history, price, technical capability, and procedural compliance, which are divided into 13 indicators of performance evaluation. These indicators will be validated by the cement industry. Future studies will design a model of evaluation of suppliers using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the bidders list on a tender for the procurement of services in PT. Semen Padang. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja perusahaan yaitu pemasok (supplier/vendor) yang berperan sebagai pemasok kebutuhan operasional perusahaan baik berupa bahan baku maupun suku cadang peralatan pabrik. Keberadaan pemasok sangat menentukan kelancaran proses produksi dan produk yang akan dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pemilihan pemasok yang tepat sehingga dapat menghilangkan segala bentuk resiko yang akan menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. PT. Semen Padang merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri persemenan yang tergabung dalam PT. Semen Indonesia sebagai Holding Company. Sampai saat ini PT. Semen Padang maupun PT. Semen Indonesia belum mempunyai suatu metode yang standar dalam melakukan pemilihan pemasok untuk proses tender pengadaan barang dan jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang usulan indikator dalam evaluasi pemasok untuk mendapatkan bidder list dalam mengikuti suatu tender pengadaan jasa di PT. Semen Padang. Berdasarkan studi literatur, didapatkan enam kriteria yaitu kualitas, penghantaran, sejarah kinerja, harga, kemampuan teknis, dan kepatuhan prosedur, yang terbagi lagi dalam 13 indikator penilaian kinerja. Indikator tersebut akan divalidasi dengan industri semen. Penelitian selanjutnya akan merancang model evaluasi pemasok dengan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk mendapatkan bidder list dalam mengikuti suatu tender pengadaan jasa di PT. Selection of the appropriate composition desalination units can be done with a variety of method approaches, one of the method is the Analytic Hierarchy Process. In determining the desalination unit with AHP method to consider is setting a goal, an alternative criteria and pairwise comparison. Research for the determination of the exact composition of the desalination unit in order to achieve sustainable drinking water suppy in coastal areas and small islands has been conducted. The results of the study are as follows, the energy demand of 50.83%, operator costs of 26.64%, maintenance costs of 14.13% and chemical requirement 8.4%. For an alternative composition desalination unit of RO 10 m3 / day is the best alternative composition with value of 59.61%, the composition of the next alternative is RO 20 m3/ day of 30.40% and the last alternative of the desalination unit composition is RO 120 m3/ day of 09.99%.Key words : Desalination, Mukti Stage Flash Composition, AHP

This study was conducted to assist in the selection of martial assistant coach, to determine who is right. Its results will didadaptkan by comparing the two methods in the decision support system, by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Simple Additive Weight (SAW) in limiting the problems in producing the desired solution, using multiple criteria (multi-criteria). AHP and SAW has a different way of doing the calculation. This is done to determine which method is looking for help in making decisions. And in this study are the criteria Discipline, Knowledge, Leadership, Attitude, and Level. And there are sub criteria on Level, which Black (AND I) and Red Black II.
